Top location directly in the Spreewald and only 120 meters from the water: Chic and high-quality furnished holiday home on an idyllic natural plot with direct access to the Spree. Enjoy the wonderful view of the Spree meadows from the covered terrace and watch deer and deer stalking. Catch some big fish in the Spree or one of the many lakes in the immediate vicinity. As an active vacationer, you will get your money's worth, because the "Gurkenradweg", an approx. 250 km long circular tour through Brandenburg, leads through tranquil places. If the weather doesn't play along: the Tropical Island bathing paradise is only 18 km away. Neuendorf am See is a part of the Unterspreewald municipality in the Dahme-Spreewald district in Brandenburg. The beautiful Neuendorfer See is part of the Spreewald biosphere reserve and, with its flat banks and many bays, invites you to go swimming and fishing. Carp and pike are plentiful here. The surrounding deciduous and pine forests make wonderful walking and cycling tours possible, and you can also quickly reach the attractive towns of Lübben and Storkow. Activities nearby: Of course you must have taken a barge through the canals of the Spree in the Spreewald. You can also explore them yourself with a rented canoe. Also worth seeing is the castle island of Lübben with its restaurants, the bistro by Gurken-Paule and the boat harbor or enjoy a swim in the Spreelagune on hot days. And in the evening, the sidewalks are far from being folded up. At night, the city offers a hike with the Lübben night watchman or a night trip with the barge. Note: the house can only be heated with an electric fireplace.

If you love nature and peace, we can only recommend the nicely furnished house. There was even a fly screen in every window! Nothing is missing in the kitchen cupboards

What we didn't like so much:
Incorrect information on the electricity price, almost 25% higher than stated in the description
No indication in the description that heating is only with electricity, although there is central heating. Didn't get the rooms warm.
No WLAN
Cell phone reception almost only possible outside the house because the roof is made of metal.
Bicycle rental was spontaneously not possible because not booked in advance.
All in all, a clear recommendation.

Due to the current Corona situation, we decided to book this holiday apartment in May. We arrived with full anticipation and were warmly welcomed by the owner with small gifts. We had a super nice and relaxed time for two, for this reason we can we recommend it and look forward to another stay in this idyllic location,
