Well-equipped holiday home with a comfortable terrace area in a quiet location on the Ria des Quillimadec. Some can relax wonderfully on the comfortable lounge garden furniture while others prepare the evening barbecue. Inside, your holiday home offers a spacious layout with an open kitchen to the living room and a second living area where you can retreat in peace. The many small bathing bays and the long sandy beach can be reached in a few minutes on foot or by bike. The place is popular and known as a bathing resort. In the long bay there are many small bathing beaches and rock sections and at low tide the sea retreats for kilometers. The tidal creeks warm up around the rocks like small paddling pools, where children can play and splash around. A paradise also for shell collectors and beach fishermen!

We had a very nice stay with four people and a dog from 18. 07. - 01. 08. 26 after initial organizational difficulties that arose until our arrival on site. However, I will not comment further on the latter here but will send them directly to Belvilla, as they have nothing to do with the house and the stay. It is worth noting at this point that the organizational problems led to the fact that by the time we arrived, the ground floor had not yet been cleaned (the upper floor was finished). The final cleaning on the ground floor was missing because the landlady had received the information that we had canceled, and thus she also did not have our booking documents! It was very embarrassing for the very nice landlady, and she apologized several times for it, even though the mistake was primarily not hers. Fortunately, the previous tenants left the ground floor very clean, so it was immediately usable! About the house itself: It is located very quietly on the edge of a small settlement and the village in a nice neighborhood. The house is well equipped with a modernized bathroom and toilet and a fairly well-equipped kitchen. The beds and sofas were comfortable. It has a very nice garden and front yard. Unfortunately, there were only two sun loungers in a house for up to 6 people... but that was manageable. Two small defects should still be mentioned: A slightly musty smell is coming from the basement into the ground floor, as there is a direct access to the living area and the doors are all not very well-fitting or not equipped with seals. Additionally, the terrace glass sliding door is temporarily secured with a furniture latch on a screwed wooden structure, as the original locking mechanism was apparently defective. For safety, a professional repair might be advisable here. The place is beautifully quiet and not so crowded and touristically influenced. Those seeking peace will find it here. There is a very good baker!

There is a large TV with satellite reception (all German channels) and a DVD player. Everything is well maintained and very clean, which is not always the case with holiday homes. We were welcomed by a very nice lady who showed us everything. Another towel rail in the bathroom for large towels would be great. In 4 minutes walk you are at the sea.

Very friendly and helpful landlord, ideal parking space for the car and good storage space for our bicycles in the basement, very quiet location of the property and a beautiful view from the garden or terrace
