Living in a former windmill from the 19th century, just a few meters from the Wadden Sea on the bay of Mont Saint Michel. The original architecture was preserved during the renovation of the mill, which is now a national monument. Especially the imposing fireplace and the exposed wooden beams in the interior create a cozy atmosphere. The living area is on the ground floor, a sleeping area on the first floor and an open sleeping loft with a low ceiling height (approx. 1 m), which can also be used as a small reading corner, on the second floor. The mill is located on a 900 square meter nature reserve. Depending on the tide - the sea can retreat up to 7 km here - you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea and the majestic Klosterberg or the vast mudflats. Cherrueix is a small village on the border between Brittany and Normandy and therefore an ideal starting point to get to know these two attractive regions.

Beautiful location, this mill is really something special. The landlord is very nice and accommodating. We had a wonderful holiday and will gladly come back.

Expectations were fully met, the location was fantastic, contact was made without problems, the landlord was very friendly and accommodating. Everything necessary for survival is available in the nearby village, groceries, bakery, restaurant, fresh seafood to cook yourself in shops in the neighbouring village. Activities: Places in the area, hiking and highly recommended Train Marin: trip to the mudflats for mussel farming and fishing. Note about the bed: French, i.e. only one blanket for 2 persons.

The mill is truly a special holiday accommodation. The room downstairs is very well furnished, even with antiques. The open fireplace had a frame of a castle window. The beams of the old mill can still be seen and are very impressive. At high tide, you can hear the sea, and above all, the landlord is a very nice person. We would go there again.

Friendly landlord, special holiday home with great location in the middle of the Bay of Mount Saint Michel.
Tips for activities:
-Mount Saint Michel (best with a bike, rental possible at the neighboring mill/tourist information),
-Cancale,
-San Malo,
-Medieval gem Dinan,
-Cliffs and lighthouses at Cap Frehel
...
and one week is over quickly.

The landlord was very friendly. The mill was very clean and a dream in general. It is located in a quiet area without direct neighbors, right by the sea. It was beautiful and we would love to come back. The region is a paradise for dogs. We made a trip to Saint Malo almost every day, as this city is amazingly beautiful and highly recommended.
