All-round satisfaction package
Those who long for peace and seclusion are in good hands here in Akeby. In the middle of a green landscape and yet many sights can be reached by car from here
The cosy and above all clean holiday home offers everything you need, Mr Witt, the landlord, is very obliging, we were welcomed with a super delicious cake.
Highly recommended for families with children, mobile seniors plus dog owners.
We had a great rest and will definitely come back again.

Vacation July 2017
We arrived at the property after a long journey and help!!! We would have preferred to go back home. We stood in front of an ancient wooden house. Tears came to my eyes. Upon arrival in the huge driveway, Mr. Witt welcomed us. We were greeted very friendly. Mr. Witt showed us around the apartment, and WOW!!!! Over 100 square meters of dream apartment. Everything newly renovated. Dishwasher, microwave, oven, a huge bathroom, and three big bedrooms. This apartment: A DREAM. But the very, very, very best thing was: there was a super delicious chocolate cream cake in the refrigerator as a welcome gift.
By the way, great for cycling (I did 160 km), dogs are very welcome in every restaurant.
Thank you very much, Mr. Witt, for this unforgettable vacation.

Relaxing and enjoyable vacation
We had a relaxing and enjoyable vacation in Akeby with the Witt family in their very well-equipped and spacious vacation apartment. The friendly welcome upon our arrival and the surprise of a homemade cake in the refrigerator, like with good friends, is how we see the Witt family after our stay. We have never experienced anything like this before, and we have already stayed in many vacation apartments. We received very good tips on where to go on beautiful outings, and also where to go shopping (Süderbarup and specifically the baker Ebsen). We could approach the Witt family with any concern, and there was always a friendly answer and a very interesting tour on a request from us with Mr. Witt Sr. We were full of enthusiasm.
What we (we were 3 people and a dog) especially liked was the generous area of the park and we particularly enjoyed sitting under the beautiful walnut tree on our terrace after our outings. Not much traffic, just a tractor or a car, super quiet.
It was pure relaxation, and we are definitely not the last time we were there.
For the four new vacation apartments (very tastefully furnished and also great location), we wish good rentals and good luck.

Beautiful and varied vacation
We had a lovely and varied holiday in the holiday home in Akeby. We would like to thank the Witt family in particular, who surprised us very kindly with a self-baked cake (after the efforts of the journey). Any request could be brought to them without any issues. We would also like to highlight the child-friendliness, making it difficult to say goodbye to newly made friends.
The holiday home is very spacious and equipped with everything you need. The beds (mattresses) are very good, important for many. The park-like garden with a pavilion and a trampoline was beautiful. It is a holiday for relaxing in the holiday home, swimming in the Baltic Sea, and seeing many beautiful things (Hamburg, North Sea, Damp, Eckernförde, Kappeln, Schleswig...). A car is important as the holiday home is located in a rural area (ideal for those stressed out). Shopping can be done in Süderbrarup (about 4 km away), where many shopping options are available.

Everything is right here!
My wife and I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful vacation here. Yes, there was even a homemade cake in the fridge for us, a very nice gesture!
For about 40 years, we have been staying in holiday homes. Earlier with our children, now just the two of us.
I think I can judge how this holiday home was. Simply great furnishings, a great park at the front door, and most importantly, absolutely amazing hosts. At Fam Witt, you are well taken care of without feeling restricted in your freedom. They were always there when needed but never intrusive or bothersome. Five stars are well-deserved for everything here.
