Apartment 'Gestel I' is a modernized former artist studio in Bergen.
From the moment you enter this holiday home, you can feel the inspiration that made this beautiful apartment a special painter's studio. Today tastefully modernized, this painting studio is ideal for a nice holiday, where you can reach the lively centre of Bergen on foot.
The house is furnished with great attention to detail and has a modern appearance. When you come in, your gaze immediately falls on the magnificent high window in the living room, an interior from the time when this was a painter's studio and therefore required an excellent incidence of light. Outside you have your own fenced terrace where you can sit comfortably.

A real stroke of luck in Bergen
Vacation in Bergen Nordholland and prefer a holiday apartment over a hotel? Then take this cute one in the middle of the town!
- Wonderful location, about a 7-minute walk to the city center, about 10 minutes to the nearest supermarket.
- Idyllically situated, one hears the wind and birds rather than car noise, etc.
- The apartment is super equipped, with a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, gas stove, refrigerator, coffee machine, microwave... Everything is available.
- Cozy living room, very bright. Half a floor up is the sleeping area, the bed is big enough for a couple.
- There is also a terrace area with a roof, where you can easily listen to the rain and enjoy your coffee/tea or read.
We felt absolutely comfortable every day and were happy to come "home" to the apartment after our day trips. Really highly recommended!!!
Speaking of warmth: For people sensitive to heat like me, a note: The apartment can get quite warm, and due to the construction, the warmth accumulates, or the apartment heats up, especially in the sleeping area.
In Holland, on the occasional hot summer days, it usually gets cooler again around 10 p.m. Simply open the upper part of the split front door, place the fan provided in the apartment at the front door.
In about 30 minutes, the apartment will cool down pleasantly because the fan ensures air exchange. The door and gate can be locked, and a bead curtain keeps flies away.

Wonderful holiday
We felt very comfortable in this renovated studio. Beautiful light, tasteful furnishings, and a lovely small terrace. The apartment is very central and close to the beach. We went on wonderful bike rides in this beautiful area.

Heerlijk weekend
The cottage is located in a central spot near a small forest and the center. Moreover, it is a light, open space with all kinds of amenities. We had a wonderful weekend!
