In Balatonmáriafürdő, at the end of Őrház utca, a truly family-friendly, quiet and free beach away from the tourist hustle and bustle awaits lovers of water recreation. There is a free car park next to the beach.
The free beach spreads out in a spacious green zone, dotted here and there with willows. Those who want to tan will always find their pleasure here on the beach. The beach, which stands as a small island of tranquillity, is surrounded by reeds and since the bottom of the shore is muddy for a while, a long footbridge leads visitors to the cleaner part of the water. Due to its slow descent, even the smallest children can play on Lake Balaton without any problems.
A modern playground is connected to the beach in Őrház Street, where children can have fun. On the other side, a small building has a cold water shower, a changing room and a washroom.
Also at the end of Őz utca in a smaller area only about the 10-metre wide beach you can also have a wonderful swim.
