In the idyllic spot Ilfeld (near Nordhausen) is located in Burgstrasse, the oldest street of the village, Baar's property with the accommodations. We, family Baar, offer you in a quiet location three apartments and a holiday house of different size for the holiday in the Harz. They have enough space for one to two or for up to five people.
The cottage has a private terrace. Sitting areas invite you to linger after hiking in the Harz or a Harz trip. Parking and a drying room for wet clothes are available on the enclosed property. Ironing board, children's travel cot, high chair, baby bath, charcoal or gas grill, bicycles and a sleigh in winter are available free of charge. The resort of Ilfeld-Harz (first mentioned in 1154) is nestled between beautiful mixed forests and mountains in a Harz valley (250 to 530 m above sea level). Because of its varied environment and the good air Ilfeld-Südharz has been for several decades for recreation, as a base for extensive hiking in the Harz and tourism in the Harz and Kyffhäuser as well as railroad friends for nostalgic (steam-powered) narrow-gauge railway rides from Ilfeld to Nordhausen, Wernigerode , to Brocken and from June 2006 to Quedlinburg very much used. Goethe stayed overnight in 1777 on his journey through the Harz in Ilfeld (former Gasthof zur goldenen Krone).
