Wonderful... Arrive and immediately feel like on vacation.

The house is wonderfully idyllic, beautiful garden and pool. The kitchen is excellently equipped, everything is taken care of, which makes the stay a dream vacation. We felt so comfortable, we will come back.

Quiet and relaxed vacation.

We had a super relaxing vacation. We didn't miss anything, the house is just great. The facilities and location are perfect. The surroundings were easy to explore by car or on foot, the beaches were crowded but super beautiful. The house is highly recommended, we will definitely come back.

Quiet, relaxing vacation.

We were completely satisfied with the accommodation. First of all, I personally noticed the pleasant smell when entering the house. It smelled pleasantly fresh and not in any way stale, which is sometimes the case with vacation rentals. Everything was neat, clean, and there were more than enough small spoons for 6 people. The house is located in a very quiet area. Besides a slightly confused chicken during the day and a little owl in the evening, you hardly notice any other noises. So it's ideal for escaping the stressful everyday life. The house is equipped with all the amenities except a washing machine. So pack enough clothes and especially mosquito repellent (for outside) and just relax?

In any case, we felt very comfortable and will definitely come back, but not in the height of summer. It was a bit too hot for us. Otherwise, it should be mentioned that both the landlord and the local contact person were very friendly, helpful, and available at all times. Thanks again!

Wonderful holiday home

A very beautiful house, lovingly furnished and very well equipped. The terrace invites you to linger with table and seating. The beautifully overgrown garden offers plenty of shade, and the pool is almost hidden from view. Thanks to the mosquito nets on all windows, we had no annoying snakes in the house.
We (two adults and two teenagers + dog) felt very comfortable!
In the village itself there is the possibility to buy fruit and vegetables of great quality from the farmer. In Tar itself there are excellent shopping possibilities and nice konobas.
All in all, a very nice holiday.

Feeling at home on holiday....

The house is beautifully and tastefully decorated, no run-down furniture, beds, etc., everything modern.
everything is modern, you feel at home from the first moment. Nothing is missing: coffee machine, dishwasher, fully equipped kitchen and barbecue in the garden. The terrace has a cosy and beautiful seating area, in the garden you can relax on comfortable loungers in the shade or in the sun, or refresh yourself in the clean pool.
We spent more of our 8 days in the garden than on the beach because everything you need is there.
If you are looking for peace and relaxation far away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place to be. There are plenty of excursion possibilities if you want them.

Tolles Ferienhaus

My wife and I were in Istria for the first time. We really liked the area. Within a 25 km radius, there are great cities/villages to explore. Also great restaurants on the wine and olive road or right by the sea. There are also beautiful free beaches, but in my opinion not as many as in Dalmatia. However, there are huge resorts with campsites and beautiful, mostly rocky beaches. Even as a non-camper, you can enjoy all the amenities there. Sometimes you have to pay an entrance fee of between 4 and 5 €. However, everything is extremely well maintained with showers, restaurants, and much more. Regarding the house: The house is great and superbly furnished. The garden is beautifully green with a pool and relatively secluded from the outside. The terrace is just as beautiful. There is an abundance of dishes, etc. The pool service came once a week. To go shopping, you have to drive 2.5 km to the neighboring village of Tar. Tar is very interesting, there are also nice restaurants and bistros and winegrowers, and it's very original. The nearest beach/resort is about 6 km away. Everything was perfect for us, and we will definitely return to this house. We highly recommend it 100 percent.

First time in Istria

We were allowed to spend 2 weeks in this beautiful villa and in the quiet little village. Rogovici is a small place and quietly situated, which we liked very much and we could relax very well. The house was clean and lovingly furnished. The kitchen is well equipped and we didn't want for anything. We could cool down in the pool on hot days. The pool was clean and big enough for us. The sea is 15 minutes away by car. The owner, Mr. Geisel, was always very accessible and left nothing to be desired, for which we thank him very much. We had a good rest and can only recommend this accommodation.
We will be happy to come back.

Dream holiday in Croatia

Thanks to "Corona" Istria was not so overpopulated by tourists and we spent a wonderful time in Rogovice in Villa Mariposa.
The house is particularly clean and is very well equipped - from the coffee machine to garden furniture and a beautiful pool. In case of any questions, a contact person would have been available on site.
In Tar, the next small village, there is a bank and shopping facilities for daily needs.
Sometimes we went by car to the nearby pebble beach at Santa Marina. There is also a small kiosk there. You can park your car in the shade under the trees. There are also plenty of places to lie in the shade, right by the water - even when there are more people on the beach.
Rogovinj, the coastal town 24 kilometres away, is also worth a visit. There are also several small villages in the area that are worth a visit. There is also a stalactite cave about 10 kilometres away. This is a great place for an excursion with children.
We will be back!

Highly recommended

A carefully furnished holiday home with all comforts. The pool is particularly beautiful, especially for families with children. The apartment is located away from the hustle and bustle in the midst of a beautiful landscape. If you want to explore the postcard motifs of Croatia, you have to take car rides. From my point of view, ideal for cyclists who want to explore the "hinterland." We were 4 adults with 2 children and found it very, very nice there. The landscape offers much serenity, tranquility, and spaciousness for relaxation. The neighboring houses are partly used similarly. The locals are friendly. Even if a bit further away, Rovinj and the Montana Castle are a must-see.

Wonderful vacation at Villa Mariposa

The Villa Mariposa was not only the starting point for numerous excursions into the fascinating surroundings but also a place of relaxation where one likes to return, let the soul unwind, and simply enjoy. The villa is lovingly and generously equipped, leaving no doubt that the guests' stay is meant to be as pleasant as possible. One of our fondest holiday memories is the daily breakfast on the inviting terrace among the olive trees, as well as the fun in and around the pool.

Tolles Haus

The house is very beautiful, top furnished and equipped. Everything is there from the TV, washing machine to kitchen utensils and grill. Since the property is completely enclosed, it is also great for dogs.
We had a great holiday there and would always rent this house again.

Great family holiday in beautiful holiday home

We spent 2 beautiful weeks in Croatia with our two children and grandparents. Booking, contract coordination, payment and taking over the key went smoothly. The extensive tips for arrival and departure as well as the description of the house and the surroundings were very helpful. The holiday home is well equipped, nothing is missing. Clean and spacious. We felt very comfortable. The village of Rogovici offers no infrastructure except for a nice and very good vegetable/fruit seller. To reach beautiful bays you should invest about 15-20 minutes by car. Baker, butcher, supermarkets, restaurants, bank, etc are in the next village Tar in about 3.5km.

As always just great!

We are repeat offenders and are always thrilled when it's time to head to Croatia to Villa Mariposa. We enjoyed our vacation in this very clean and well-equipped semi-detached house. Everything was perfectly prepared. Many thanks also to Kruna!
Since we had our granddaughter (7) with us, the pool was, of course, the best thing for her. We just love to relax and unwind, and you can do that here because it's a bit away from the tourist hustle and bustle. In the evening, you can eat very well nearby at one of the small konobas or drive to Porec or Novigrad. The shopping options are also great, everything is close by (5-10 minutes by car). We will definitely come back.

Top-Ferienhaus

We have now spent our summer vacation for the 2nd time in this really very beautiful holiday home and will gladly come again. The equipment of the house is very good, everything needed for a successful holiday is available. The house and the outdoor area are very clean, the pool is cleaned regularly. The "Tomato Grandma," as our children call the local vegetable stand, is great. From Rogovici, you can go on many beautiful excursions, everything is easily accessible by car. Alternatively, you can relax on the comfortable loungers under the olive tree by the pool. We can recommend this beautiful holiday home without any reservations.

Tolles Ferienhaus

We had a great vacation in Geisel's holiday home. The house was very clean and in great condition. In combination with the pool (which was regularly cleaned) and the large olive trees, it was a very relaxing vacation. Everything you could wish for is really available. Dishwasher, grill, good loungers, and more. The entire house is in top condition. Sufficient dishes are available. We had a superb vacation and I can only recommend the house.

Ferienhaus Mariposa

We were 4 and had plenty of space in this beautiful holiday home. It is located in a quiet place, but you always need a car since the only option in the village is to buy fresh vegetables and fruits from the garden. It was very hot during these days, but it was bearable with the available air conditioning and the small well-maintained pool. The travel description with the directions is very good and helpful. So, we can honestly recommend this house.

Dreamy holiday home in a prime location

Everything here is simply perfect, clean, very beautiful, and fully furnished. In this dreamlike domicile, one is a bit away from the tourist hustle and can enjoy the peace and relax. Simply wonderful. If you want tourist hustle, it's possible within 8 minutes. I am a repeat offender with Mr. Geisel, and he's right! Because it's so dreamlike that we have already been here for the 4th time. And definitely not for the last time.
