Villa Cedar is a beautifully renovated stone house in the quiet village of Gostinjac on the island of Krk. The house is situated on a spacious, fully fenced plot of 1,200 m² and offers plenty of space to relax, spend time together, and enjoy the fresh air. Thanks to the thoughtful layout and numerous cozy outdoor areas, the villa is ideal for families or groups of friends who want to spend a relaxing holiday in a private and peaceful setting.
A special highlight of the villa is the large 36 m² swimming pool, which is surrounded by a spacious sun terrace with six sun loungers and sun umbrellas. Right next to the pool there is also a separate guest house, which has an additional bedroom with its own bathroom. Since it is separated from the main house, it offers especially much privacy and comfort and is ideal for a couple, family members, or guests who would like to enjoy a bit more peace and personal space. Thanks to this additional accommodation, Villa Cedar can host up to 9 people.
For cozy hours outdoors, there is a beautifully designed outdoor kitchen equipped with a gas stove, fireplace, sink, and refrigerator. Right next to it is a pleasant covered pavilion with a WC, so you don’t have to return to the house even after a long day by the pool. The shady terrace directly by the house is equipped with a large dining table for six people and offers a lovely view of the pool.
The main house extends over two floors. On the ground floor there is a spacious and bright living area with a modern kitchen, dining area, and living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric hob, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, microwave, coffee machine, and kettle. In the cozy living area, there is a comfortable seating set and SAT-TV. The dining area offers enough space for shared meals. There is also a guest WC with a washing machine on the ground floor. The entire main house is air-conditioned and free Wi-Fi is available to guests.
Upstairs there are three cozy bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Two bedrooms have double beds measuring 180 × 200 cm as well as a television. In one of the bedrooms, in addition to the double bed, there is now also a single bed, making the sleeping arrangements even more flexible. Two bedrooms have direct access to a balcony with a small table and two chairs – ideal for enjoying a quiet coffee in the morning or winding down the day in a relaxed way. The bathrooms are equipped with a shower, WC, washbasin, hairdryer, and towels.
The outdoor area has been designed so that you can spend as much time outside as possible. The spacious lawn is fully fenced and therefore also ideal for families with children. While the children can play on the lawn or on the playground, the adults enjoy relaxing hours by the pool or sociable meals in the outdoor kitchen. There are also four parking spaces available on the property.
Villa Cedar combines the charm of a traditional stone house with modern comfort and generous private outdoor areas. The separate guest house right by the pool is especially practical for larger families or groups, as it provides accommodation for up to 9 people and at the same time offers additional privacy and independence.

The sea is about 2.5 km away, Rijeka Airport is only 12 km from the villa. In the surrounding area there are numerous cycling and hiking trails, while the popular places Malinska, Vrbnik, and Krk are about 15 km away. In Šilo, about 5 km away, you will find restaurants, bars, shops, and further shopping opportunities.

ABSOLUTE RECOMMENDATION
We were 6 people (dog) in the Villa Cedar. The accommodation is in a very quiet location. A shopping opportunity is reachable by car in 3 minutes. The building and the outdoor area are extremely well-maintained and very beautifully landscaped. Meanwhile, all the plants have grown and provide even more privacy. The pool is very large and has steps for access. The property is fenced and has an electric rolling gate at the parking lot. The outdoor kitchen with separate toilet and gas stove, grill, fridge/freezer combination, sink, etc. and seating options is perfect. The kitchen on the ground floor of the house is extremely well equipped. Everything the hobby cook needs is available. The three rooms on the upper floor are very tastefully furnished (of course, the rest of the house too!). The bathrooms with toilet and shower are very clean and well maintained! There is also a TV with satellite reception (yes... also German channels) which we didn't need. WLAN is available and stable. The covered seating area next to the pool is equipped with good chairs and additional seating options.
The owners are very friendly and lovely.
In summary: We have been coming to Istria and Krk for several years… this is so far our nicest and cleanest house! ABSOLUTE RECOMMENDATION!!!

Very nice house, everything you need for a holiday. Enough space for six people with private bathrooms for each room.
The landlords are very helpful and quickly on site for any problems.
We enjoyed the time very much and can only recommend a holiday in the house.

Pure relaxation with dog
We were looking for a house in a quiet location and found it. Perfect for a young family with dog. The way to the beach / bay is not far and was also ideal for dogs. If you choose this location, you know in advance that you will have to drive further to go shopping. But that is not a problem either. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. This accommodation can be recommended 100%

Great house and nice landlords
A really great house and very nice landlords who were always helpful and accommodating to our wishes. It takes about 10-20 minutes to reach the beach, depending on which part of the island you are heading to - a car is definitely a must.

Fernseher mit SAT-Empfang (ja…auch deutsche Sender) gibt es auch…haben wir nicht gebraucht. WLAN ist vorhanden und stabil. Der überdachte Sitzbereich neben dem Pool ist mit guten Stühlen und weiteren Sitzmöglichkeiten ausgestattet.
Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und liebenswert.
Zusammengefasst: Wir kommen seit einigen Jahren nach Istrien und Krk…das ist bisher unser schönstes und sauberstes Haus! ABSOLUTE EMPFEHLUNG!!!
Die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit und bei allen Problemen schnell vor Ort.
Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und können einen Urlaub im Haus nur empfehlen.

Man / frau benötigt ca. 10-20 min zum Strand je nachdem welche Ecke der Insel man / frau ansteuert - ein Auto ist auf jeden Fall Pflicht.
