Beautiful vacation with dog

We spent 14 days on vacation in August 2025 with our small dog in the holiday home of the Felsch family.
For many years, we have been vacationing in holiday homes in Mecklenburg, but we had not yet been in the area around Hohen Wangelin. One can take beautiful bike tours in every direction there.
The holiday home was well-equipped, and our car and the bicycles we brought had enough space in the spacious garage. A kitchen that is not too small was also important to us, as we enjoy cooking for ourselves. In many details, one can see that the Felsch family has thought about the well-being of their guests. The vine-covered terrace was a nice place to eat and relax. We really enjoyed it, and we also received delicious tomatoes and cucumbers. The stairs to the upper floor are a bit steeper than usual, but they were very well lit at night. The fences and hedges around the holiday home were dense, so we could also let our little Chihuahua out alone into the beautiful garden. It was a really nice relaxing vacation for us.

Schöner Urlaub

The holiday home is clean and tidy. We had 2 dogs with us, and it was great; the dogs had space in the garden, which is fenced all around. We felt very comfortable.

Wonderful holidays

We felt very comfortable in the small house. We were supplied with lettuce and cucumbers from the Felsch family garden. Our dogs also had a nice little garden at their disposal. Excursions into the surrounding area are quickly accessible, but also the stay in the village with the lake was very nice. Everything you need for a nice relaxing holiday was there.
However, only recommended for small dogs, as the stairs to the bedroom are very steep.

Beautiful

We spent a wonderful, quiet holiday in August with 2 children and 2 dogs in the holiday home with the Felsch family. The house is well equipped, very idyllic and you can stay on the beautiful terrace even when it rains. A paradise for children and dogs due to the nearby lakes and forests, beautiful landscape. Excursions to Waren/Müritz not far away. The great thing is that bicycles of all sizes are available free of charge.
We felt very comfortable and protected by the hospitality of family Felsch and were spoiled with fruits, flowers and vegetables from the beautiful garden.

Family holiday in beautiful holiday home

We spent 14 days on holiday with Fam. Felsch and felt very comfortable in the well-equipped holiday home. Fam. Felsch is an excellent host and we were spoiled with berries, apples, cucumbers and tomatoes from the garden as well as homemade jam. The location of the holiday home is ideal. There are many lakes to swim in all around and the good connections allow trips to the beautiful surrounding towns in a short time. Thank you for a wonderful family holiday - also in Corona times.

Very nice holiday accommodation

We felt very comfortable in their small cottage. Perfect if you want to switch off and escape everyday life. The accommodation is lovingly and purposefully furnished. Very nice and helpful hosts who care about the well-being of their guests. The garden is beautifully designed and invites you to linger, the evenings on the terrace were very cozy. All in all, it was a successful holiday with our dog.

Quiet vacation

We went on vacation in Hohen Wangelin with our 11-year-old son. The accommodation was sufficient for the three of us, clean, and everything was available. Those who want to spend a lot of time outdoors have a beautiful garden right outside the front door. Mr. and Mrs. Felsch provided us with fresh vegetables from the garden and were always available for any problems. The only disadvantage was that there is no restaurant or bakery/grocery store in the village. The lake is about 400 meters away from the accommodation and the water is very clean.

We stayed with our dog at the Felsch family. The holiday house is equipped with everything you need, even a washing machine is available. The garden is fenced so that dogs - or children - can play undisturbed. You can eat outdoors, the terrace is covered. There is even a garage for the car. Various loungers, bicycles, and a barbecue are stored there for use.
We were allowed to supply ourselves with salad from the Felsch's garden, and we always received cucumbers directly. A swimming lake can be reached in about 400 meters.
All in all, a very relaxing vacation, with very accommodating and friendly landlords. We didn't miss anything.
We can only recommend the holiday house.

Holiday property

If you are looking for nature, tranquility, relaxation, and a pleasant atmosphere, you are in good hands with the Felsch family. The small holiday cottage, located separately, surrounded by a hedge, with lawn to relax on and a cozy seating area, fulfills all the requirements for feeling comfortable. The interior of the house perfectly meets all the wishes of the average vacationer. A garage for a car and bicycles completes the positive picture.
The immediate surroundings are mainly suitable for hiking, swimming, or horseback riding. Especially the lakes are in their natural state and guarantee undisturbed swimming. Short trips to Malchin, Lenz am See, Plau am See, Krakow am See, and Drewitz am See are definitely worth a visit.
The hosts are happy to give recommendations upon request and spoil their guests with fresh vegetables from their garden and homemade jam.
We ourselves have been to the holiday property several times by now, and that speaks for itself.

Very quiet holiday apartment with nearby hiking and biking trails.

The holiday cottage, surrounded by a high hedge with a separate entrance directly through the garage, is located in a beautiful natural area. From there, it's less than 5 minutes to the forest and then you can start your adventure with a dog, a bicycle, or a horse. We greatly appreciated the hospitality of the landlords, the flowers on the tables, self-supply of herbs, salad, and radishes, and the walnuts in the basket. The kitchen is abundantly stocked for self-catering and we felt very comfortable during our stay.

Super calm relaxing vacation.

We spent our vacation here in the summer of 2016. Unfortunately, the weather was very changeable. However, the wonderful peace in the pretty little house did us a lot of good. We were very satisfied with the cleanliness and the facilities. Everything is available for daily use. Surrounded by high hedges, you are completely unobserved and undisturbed on the small sunbathing lawn. The large accompanying garage provides the car with security, and with the numerous bicycles inside, you have the opportunity to cycle through the wide country. The many lakes in the area invite you to swim "wildly." The landlords were very accommodating and kind; they spoiled us with tomatoes and cucumbers from their own garden.

Impeccable holiday home for those seeking tranquility

The Felsch family offers a well-furnished holiday home with impeccable furniture. The kitchen is abundantly stocked for self-catering, and the bathroom is newly designed with a fixed shower. The house is situated on the owners' property but is completely separated by high hedges. It has its own entrance from the back, and the large garage is accessible from there as well. The fencing is perfect for small dogs. Those looking for discos and pub districts are in the wrong place here. Who is looking for tranquility and wants to wander through fields and forests (with their dog) will enjoy it. We felt comfortable.

Quiet vacation apartment, good starting point for tours in the surrounding area.

Hohen Wangelin is centrally located between Malchow, Waren, and Plau (each about 20 minutes away). Even Rostock is reachable in 30 minutes via the highway. The holiday apartment is well-furnished, with a fully equipped modern kitchen including cutlery and spices. The location is very quiet, surrounded by hedges. A large garage allows for secure storage of luggage or bicycles/boats. The Felsch family is very friendly and sometimes provides guests with fresh vegetables from their garden.
