The three 75m² apartments each have a bedroom, a bathroom/shower and a roof terrace upstairs.
The open kitchen and the living area with fireplace (stove) are each in the lower part of the apartment
The living room offers a sleeping possibility for a 3rd person
Each apartment has its own terrace. It invites to conviviality, open-air dining and grilling under the pergola. From here you have a spectacular panoramic view of the south and west coast of the Algarve.
In the cooler months of the year, the fireplace and underfloor heating provide cosy warmth. All apartments are equipped with satellite TV and Wi-Fi.

QUINTA NO ESTACO is situated at an altitude of about 600 m on the slope of Mount Foia, about 4 km outside the mountain village of Monchique. From the terraces of the property one has a grandiose panorama view over the Algarve coast. In the spacious, terraced garden you will find idyllic places to linger under olive, orange and fig trees.
There is a swimming pool and a children's pool for refreshment. The pool (13 x 6 m) is equipped with sunshades, sunbeds and a shower and can be reached via a path through the garden on one of the middle terraces.
Up to the south coast with the warmer water temperatures one drives approx. 35 min, up to the rough and original west coast one needs 45 min with the car.
From the Quinta you can make beautiful hikes, one hour to Monchique. In the small Portuguese village there are all shopping facilities, a supermarket, slaughterhouses, a market, a post office, banks, cafés and restaurants. Also on the way from Monchique to Quinta no Estaço there are several restaurants.

A small paradise
A dream of a holiday home. In the middle of an enchanted terrace garden scented with bay laurel and rosemary, with cork oaks, olive, orange, and fig trees, lies this small idyll in the hills near Monchique. The house is cheerful and furnished with attention to detail. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is modern and comfortable. The kitchen is unusually well-equipped with everything needed for cooking, and the dining and living area is inviting and can be warmed by a cozy stove. In summer, the pool in the garden offers welcome cooling. The view from the terrace, which extends to the coast, is simply breathtaking. In the immediate vicinity, there are some nice little restaurants, and the nearby charming Monchique offers good shopping opportunities. An excellent starting point for hikes and excursions to the Algarve and the west coast. The Frahms were wonderful hosts, we spent two very restful and happy weeks here and hopefully were not here for the last time.

A little dream
We fell in love with the place directly and will definitely come back. The hosts were very friendly. For us, it's a perfect vacation spot. We are already looking forward to next year.

Beautiful!
We (2 adults and 1 toddler) were there for 1 week this year (2020). Everything is available in the house, including high chair and cot. The pool and children's pool are very clean and lots of toys for children on site. Best location in the mountains - peace and quiet without end. A large pool with sea view(!), garden, terrace invite you to relax. Shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity. Equipment and house perfectly furnished

"Perfect Algarve vacation"
The hosts Thomas and Gudrun: Helpful, simply incredibly likeable. With the perfect tips for a unique vacation.
The estate: Well-kept and all-around beautiful. You can tell the love that goes into the property.
The pool - a dream that invites you to relax with breathtaking views of the coastal towns.
The journey/location: Initially a bit adventurous, but once you've been there, you'll find the way super easy. Good shopping opportunities on site. Nevertheless, you are completely to yourself.
Family-friendliness: Absolutely given.
