Newly added is our wellness house, where you have another shady spot to relax and listen to the sound of the palm trees. Or you can enjoy the morning sun with a coffee. The infrared cabin offers space for 4 people. It cannot be used in summer. However, in winter you can wonderfully relax after a hike or simply enjoy the pleasantly healthy warmth.

Right next to the wooden deck is a stone table seating area with a wood-fired oven and grill.

The small town of Aljezur with its old town, fortress and shopping facilities is only 10 km away. If you want to stroll comfortably, you are in good hands in the beautiful city of Lagos (approx. 30 km). The mountain landscape 'Serra do Monchique' is suitable for hikes

On their way from Faro or Lisbon to the plateau of 'Vale da Telha' they pass through small woods of fig trees, cork oaks, eucalyptus and pines

A beautiful, quiet lake with freshwater fish and various bird species can be reached in a few minutes. The coast has been designated a nature reserve and will remain unchanged. There is no air pollution or industry far and wide, only wonderful clean Atlantic air

The great sandy beaches 'Praia de Arrifana', 'Praia de Monte Clérigo' and 'Praia de Amoreira' are quite easy to reach by car. The west coast of the Algarve is ideal if you are looking for peace and seclusion. With its steep cliff formations of up to 100 metres, it is uniquely beautiful. Bays with wonderful sandy beaches offer everything a holidaymaker's heart desires

Especially the beach 'Praia da Amoreira' with a shallow lagoon reaching far into the country, calm crystal clear water and an extensive dune landscape offers bathing fun for young and old.
Other beautiful beaches like 'Praia da Bordeira' and 'Praia do Amado' can be reached in about 20 minutes by car.

It is a good idea to hire bicycles from local organisations to explore the beautiful countryside and nature in this way.

On the steep coast of Vale da Telha, the long-distance hiking trail "Rota Vicentina" leads along a network of hiking trails in the southwest of Portugal. Those who would like to hike are in good hands here.

Villa Lena*****

We had a great stay at Villa Lena. The decor is modern, stylish, and cozy at the same time. We were particularly impressed by the lovingly designed and spacious outdoor area - a real highlight with plenty of space to relax. The large pool was simply dreamy and was extensively used by us. Everything was very well maintained and designed with great attention to detail. We felt completely comfortable and can wholeheartedly recommend the house.

A small paradise – perfect for a relaxing break.

This holiday home was the perfect place for us to escape everyday life. The landlady is warm, attentive, and hospitable – from the first contact to our departure, we felt well taken care of.

The house itself is in very clean condition and offers everything one needs for a relaxing stay. The rooms are well laid out and beautifully furnished – you can feel that it was decorated with love for detail. The absolute highlight is the outdoor area: a large pool, numerous lounging areas, a great barbecue spot, and plenty of space to enjoy – whether with family, friends, or simply to unwind. For us, it was truly a place to feel good and recharge.

From here, we were able to take numerous day trips with our rental car and were at all desired locations in the Algarve in a maximum of 1.5 hours.

We would book this house again at any time – it was a completely successful stay!

Dreamy accommodation, everything has been thought of here!

Dear Binder family,
we felt very, very comfortable in the Villa Lena during the week. The house is so well maintained with attention to detail. The garden with the pool and the many great seating options is truly dreamy. It is so great that they even provide pool and beach towels, as well as umbrellas and a cooler, so you can leave all that nice at home and don’t have to buy anything on site. Nothing is really missing. The rooms are very large, my daughter Lena found the room with the dressing table perfect for her :) They have created a very great feel-good oasis that can be recommended 100 percent.
Since we know Aljezur, we know that you need a car to, for example, drive to the various beautiful beaches in the area. Also for any shopping. However, a small supermarket and restaurants can be reached on foot. Thank you very much for allowing us to spend a week at Villa Lena :) we wish you all the best and continued nice guests ;)

Heaven!

Warm, kind, generous and attentive hosts. Beautiful property in a perfect location for daily jaunts to the greatest 3 beaches in Portugal. Arrifana, Monte Clerigo and Amoreira. Close to wonderful, casual restaurants and a market with an atm.
The house itself is just lovely. The pool and the sauna ahhh. Don’t hesitate to book. Doris and Michael really go out of their way to make it special for you. Am very grateful to them for a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return. Excellent and strong WiFi and AC. Comfy beds. Really, nothing is lacking.

Top holiday home, nice landlords

We were thrilled from start to finish with the wonderful house and the nice, easy-going, and helpful landlords, Doris and Michael. The finca with three bedrooms, a large kitchen, a spacious living room, and a beautiful garden with a pool is very well-maintained and clean. It offers everything the heart desires and is an oasis of peace. The nearby beaches are very quickly accessible. However, a car is advisable. The equipment was more than sufficient and, above all, of high quality.
The contact with the landlords was very warm and uncomplicated. They were available to us at any time for questions and gave us good tips in the area.
We would love to come back!

Beautiful villa with great pool and garden

We were four in the villa, and the two children loved having their own rooms. The rooms are individually decorated and very tastefully furnished, and the beds are really comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped; nothing is lacking. But the best thing about Villa Lena is the beautifully landscaped garden with a central pool, and that you can access the terrace in front of the pool directly from all the rooms. In the garden, there are various seating options around the pool, allowing you to find the perfect spot depending on the weather and time of day. There are also plenty of loungers with cushions available. We really liked that. Furthermore, Doris and Michael are very nice landlords who were on-site and gave us many tips about all sorts of things. Absolute recommendation for anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet villa in a peaceful environment and not far from the very beautiful bays and beaches in this area of Portugal.

The perfect house with warm hosts.

During our stay, everything was perfect: The house not only offered a lovely garden with numerous seating options and shaded areas, but it was also well-equipped. Always worth a trip

I have now been to this oasis of well-being for the 4th time. In recent years, the owners have further beautified the domicile. So it leaves nothing to be desired. Just to mention the pool and the newly built wellness house. The holiday home is tastefully furnished and with great attention to detail. The kitchen equipment is complete. Everything you need for cooking is available. The terrace, with a view of the pool, invites you to linger. There is also a lounge and a barbecue area with seating. The whole flower splendor in the garden is inspiring. The sea is only a few minutes by car. There are plenty of shopping opportunities, also just a few minutes by car. There are several good restaurants around the domicile that are worth a visit. Otherwise, the house is located in a very quiet area. Pure relaxation. I always return home completely rested and relaxed. Thanks to the owners Doris and Michael for the wonderful time in your house. I will come back.

Excellent!!!

The architecture of the house is exceptional and provides the basis for the very successful interior with garden, pool area, lounge and BBQ area. In the garden there are sunny and shady spots at all times. You can relax very well from early morning (pool) to late evening (lounge)
From our bedroom we could look at the starry sky and the garden with the illuminated palm trees.
Garden lovers will regret not being able to use some plants, mainly succulents and flowering shrubs, in Germany as well. One can find many ideas for one's own garden design. Lovingly designed corners invite you to imitate them.
On entering the house, one is captivated by the floor tiles predominating in the long hallway. These convey the feeling of extraordinary cleanliness. This impression remained until the end.
Due to the good geographical location, there are opportunities to make excursions e.g. to Lisbon, Évora, Beja etc. by car or bus

Conclusion: Villa Lena offers the best conditions for an unforgettable holiday with guaranteed relaxation!

Dream villa for a dream holiday

Villa Lena is a true holiday oasis! Tastefully furnished to a high standard and with great attention to detail - with more extras than you would expect in a holiday home. Modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, the well-equipped kitchen, the fireplace and the Portuguese cookbook - wonderful! The pool was still good to use even in November. We felt at home from the first moment - and quickly found many favourite spots: The barbecue area in the garden is the ideal place to grill and enjoy freshly bought fish from the market. The sun loungers by the pool delighted the sun worshipper, the lounge the shade-loving Northman. And all in a quiet neighbourhood. We could easily spend the whole day on the grounds - but the surroundings are also enticing. In the immediate vicinity there are beautiful beaches, fantastic hiking trails, very good restaurants, traditional markets.... AND: The extremely friendly communication with Mrs. Binder in advance and with the good soul of the house and her husband on site gave the stay a very personal touch - we felt like guests of friends. THANK YOU! We will be happy to come back!

Einfach traumhaft

Short-term and in this case, due to Corona, we had the opportunity to book Villa Lena for 9 days. The reason for our inquiry was the first photo posted online with the view from the lounge corner over the pool and the garden, which immediately caught our interest. And neither the picture nor the description are in any way embellished. It is as described, and actually, one must have been there in person; a truly beautiful and great house with splendid tranquility. One could only hear the rustling of the wind in the palm fronds of the garden at night and occasionally the waves from the Atlantic. Pure Algarve! The house, the furnishings, kitchen, beds, bathrooms - everything top-notch, and the garden with the pool is a true eyecatcher. Somehow, Villa Lena seems like an island of its own in Vale da Telha. So far, we only knew the Algarve from Monte Gordo to Sagres. But this part is a true hidden gem with great beaches, waves, cliffs, rocks, and lots of nature. Not overcrowded and a surfer's paradise. The initial contact with our landlords and everything that followed was warm and super nice. One immediately felt like they had been there before - like an old acquaintance. The place also has a very relaxing vibe, and you can take beautiful walks to the sea or go jogging, etc. Thanks again to Saskia, who welcomed us on-site and had everything set up and prepared. We will definitely come back and try to "snatch" a spot on the occupancy schedule. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation in these unusual times!

Restful days at Villa Lena

We spent 10 days at Villa Lena and felt comfortable immediately. The house offers everything for the perfect vacation, including the pool and the entire outdoor area are well maintained and invite you to relax.

Great stay in one of the most beautiful regions of Portugal.

The house is perfect for a vacation with friends and family. Top equipment, cozy and quiet location. We felt completely at ease. The pool was a bit chilly at the end of October, but we still jumped in once and then warmed up by the fireplace. This also heats the radiators. Overall, we absolutely enjoyed our time at Villa Lena and will highly recommend it.

Großartig

We had the pleasure of spending two weeks with our two daughters in this wonderful house!!!
It is very clean, well-maintained, and above all, superbly equipped.
The landlords are great, and the house caring team is extremely helpful.

Villa Lena

Very beautiful villa, looks even more breathtaking in real life than in the pictures. The house is very well-maintained and tidy, the equipment leaves almost nothing to be desired. Both the landlady and the property manager make every effort to make the stay as beautiful and relaxing as possible. Definitely recommendable.

Relaxing dream vacation in a wonderful villa and peaceful surroundings

The house offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. It is excellently equipped and has no defects. The large garden, in addition to the beautiful pool, also offers various seating areas, making it possible to stay outdoors at any time of day or night and in any weather. In the vicinity, you can find shops for daily necessities. Various beaches are also not far away. As already described by the landlord, a car is recommended for the holiday. From the holiday destination, many sights can be reached in a short time. You can also have an adventure holiday, especially surfing. But cycling and hiking are also options due to the great landscape. So, if you want to spend a stress-free, relaxing holiday, this is a wonderful place for it.

Holiday in Villa Lena

Villa Lena is a large, spacious house that leaves nothing to be desired!
From all rooms, you can access the surrounding terrace and the amazing garden.
In the middle of the garden, the large pool invites you to swim!
The large palm trees and lush oleander bushes create a pure holiday feeling.
At the end of the garden, there is a large covered wooden deck with lounge furniture
that invites you to linger.
Both in the garden and in the house, there are many retreat options. The outdoor kitchen with the built-in grill is perfect! All in all, a great house that fully lives up to the amenities listed. A true paradise that we would love to come back to!

We live in the greater Munich area, are professionally very busy and often wish us some time out. That's why we decided to have a fixed place for our holidays - Villa Lena. Purchased in 2015 Why accommodation in Vale da Telha? -- In the past I was allowed to spend my holidays in this property, and at that time I had already taken the house into my heart. I was all the happier when I got the chance to buy it. It is nice to call it my own now, and that I can offer it to my guests as well. A really dreamlike villa in a really dreamlike area.
