Infinite peace with Berta and Heidi
We just wanted to get out for a few days and treated our Bichon frisé to a first holiday. Arrival: The journey is quite easy with a sat nav, even if the A31 is often overlooked in the traffic jam reports. We therefore had the pleasure of relaxing on the motorway for 40 km at walking pace. Location: The rest farm is situated directly on a service road surrounded by (I think) plane trees. Surroundings: The land is agricultural, so it can happen that it is wet when it rains. But that is part of the countryside. Otherwise everything is easily accessible. People: Those who believe that northern Germans are all leisurely and sedate can renounce the idea. Heckish people when shopping, sometimes bad-tempered PTAs or bakery shop assistants. Supply: The very best. Just 15 minutes away by car, you will find Kaufland (very grocery store!) and the usual discounters. Medical care is excellent and you can get it even if you are not from the region and just forgot something at home. Dog and human bathing: We wanted to jump into the big sea with our mouse, but unfortunately dogs are not allowed. There is a wonderful opportunity at the dog beach at Dankernsee. The water slopes gently far into the lake. Very clean and warm. Just enter Schlossallee 49733 Haren (Ems) in your sat nav and you'll quickly find it
Unfortunately, the pond behind the house had algae pollution and discolouration. I can recommend KOIPON Oxalit pond sludge remover to Mr Kämpfe from my best experience. Then his koi, the dogs and also people will have more fun in the water.
Overall rating: The price is absolutely reasonable. The equipment is simple but functional. The communication with Mr. Kämpfe works 24/7 via walky-talky.
Burglary protection is guaranteed by Heinrich the guard dog, who patrols the yard after consultation with the guests. Berta and Heidi keep watch with fighting cuddles. They listen to the command. Many thanks

Moin Herr Tack, bezüglich des Teiches hätten Sie mich besser einmal angesprochen.
Es ist ein Naturteich mit Moorgrundwasser, da bleiben Verfärbungen ebensowenig aus wie ab und zu Algen.
Aber die Natur ist gut und das Wasser von guter Qualität.
In einem kleinen Privatteich mag KOIPON Oxalit angebracht sein, aber nicht in einem so großen Teich, der sich laufend durch Grundwasser erneuert.

Everything perfect, cannot be increased!!!
The farm is great for dogs. Landlord very very nice and extremely accommodating, as well as flexible. Everything is adapted to dogs with owners. At night you don't have to be afraid of burglars and thieves because there are Heinrich and Heidi. Heinrich confronts the burglars and Heidi keeps them at bay with her charm and her desire to be petted.
Unfortunately, we didn't have such good weather, so we couldn't use the barbecue area at the bathing pond.
In the flat you also have to do without internet. LTE from NL is only available at the pond. The advantage of this is that you can look each other in the eye during a conversation and not stare at your mobile phone.
As long as you don't want to take your dog to the Ems, everything in the area is just as perfect. Only on the Ems on the dyke are dogs strictly forbidden, even with a leash. There is even a threat of a fine at the entrance to the dike.
It's similar at the North Sea. In Norddeich dogs are not allowed on the dyke, in Norderney beach and dyke only on a short leash.
Otherwise, there are many beautiful sights nearby. Bourtange Fortress in the Netherlands, the Von Velen complex in Papenburg, Clemenswerth Baroque Castle, etc. Bourtange and Clemenswerth there were many opportunities for free running. The stone circle in Werpeloh is also worth a visit. I baptised my dogs on the altar there ;-)

The landlord is a great host, the location is quiet and beautiful.
In the swimming pond, you can find numerous animals in the evening (bats, toads, frogs, herons, etc.).
Tip for dog owners:
Your dog should be 100% socialized, as a pack is kept on the premises.
Personal opinion:
We will now go to the farm more often because it is a real experience for the dogs (and their owners).
Conclusion:
5 stars for dog owners
4 stars for families with children
0 stars for people who don't like animals
(since there are many cats and dogs freely roaming on the premises)
