The holiday home
The house with approx. 144 square metres of floor space, on 2 levels, is nestled in a small private villa complex, with its own private tropical garden of over , and its own small swimming pool. There are a total of 4 buildings in the very large tropical garden. I live in one house myself with my family, the others are available for rent.
The house was completely renovated in 2019 and built in a Thai style, partly covered with a thatched roof. The roof terrace with mountain view, limited sea view, and view into the garden invites you to linger. Enjoy the sun or drink your morning coffee under the small thatched roof on your terrace on the 1st floor, listen to the birds and enjoy the start of the morning.
The interior design and security standard is European. The bedroom has air conditioning and a spacious bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin.
The 2nd room is equipped as a living room with TV, air conditioning, and another bathroom. From here you also have access to the covered garden terrace.
In the outside area is the partly open, but with a thatched roof covered kitchen, approx. 30 square metres, with access to the roof terrace. The kitchen has a ceramic hob, gas cooker, kettle. Fully automatic coffee machine, fridge with freezer compartment, as well as all kitchen utensils are amply available. On your arrival, you will find everything you need to enjoy your first breakfast in the morning.
The house maid comes 3 times a week free of charge, laundry and ironing can be booked on site for a small fee.
The entire house is supplied by its own very good drinking water system, regularly maintained and checked.
Breakfast or meals can be booked on request, also on a daily basis.
In the evening, the entire grounds, pool, pond and garden are illuminated, giving them a completely different charm. Enjoy the starry sky with a glass of wine on your own covered roof terrace. It offers a fantastic picture.
In the centre of the garden, on an island in the middle of the pond, there is a small sala. The sala is approx. 50 square metres in size. This is a communal area. Here you can play for free, we have a billiard and a dart's disc, or just playing cards. You can also buy all kinds of drinks here at a reasonable price, which will be charged on departure.
A car park is available directly in front of your house, and a car can be rented from 20€ per day.

In Sam Roi Yot, there is no pronounced rainy season. For this reason, the most famous neighbour is the royal family of Thailand, who have their private residence here.
Last year we had 11 rainy days, which means that it rains for 1 or 2 hours and shortly afterwards the sun shines again. In January, temperatures can drop below 25 degrees on 2-3 days.

Our dream house is located near the mountains and the sea. The large windows provide plenty of natural light.
For the third time, we were able to spend our vacation at Klaus and Marlies' Villa Malee Garden. The two are wonderful hosts, open to every wish, surprising us with great excursion ideas. The house itself and the property are beautiful, planned and equipped with so much attention to detail that you truly want for nothing. A housekeeper and gardener took care of us lovingly, ensuring tasks like our laundry being regularly washed and ironed, or serving us fresh coconuts or other fruits from the garden on the breakfast table whenever we wanted. Additionally, a property manager and his Thai wife are always on-site, stocking the new bar excellently, even offering us the luxury of being cooked for on the spot, including freshly grilled fish from their own pond!
Entertainment is also well taken care of: pool, music system by the pool, chess, bocce, table tennis, billiards, darts, a grand piano... every wish was fulfilled, and there was no boredom, not even for our 5 teenagers aged between 17 and 23.
The beach is within walking distance (approximately 2-3 km), although having a car is recommended, for day trips, and also for dining in the evenings at one of the larger beaches (Dolphinbay, Khao Kalok Beach, Pak Nam Pran) by the sea.
The property is adjacent to the Sam Roi Yot National Park, featuring beautiful attractions (e.g. Phraya Nakhon Cave) but remaining unspoiled by tourism. One can still experience elephants in the wild here or even feed wild monkeys. Klaus always has a great idea for activities. If one desires a bit more excitement, Hua Hin with its attractions such as the night market, water park, shopping malls, etc., is easily reachable in 40 minutes by car.
What we all find so special about this property is that you can enjoy the peace and relaxation of a private holiday home, while having the comfort and luxury of a well-maintained hotel. It's the perfect combination!

we don't even know how to thank you for the wonderful vacation at your place. We were and are more than impressed by the dreamlike house, the pool, and garden area. Whether it was your help with the first car ride or your brilliant tips for fantastic beaches, great restaurants, and amazing markets, not to mention the delicious fresh coconuts from your garden that we enjoyed by the pool every day.
