The holiday home
The house with approx. 144 square metres of floor space, on 2 levels, is nestled in a small private villa complex, with its own private tropical garden of over , and its own small swimming pool. There are a total of 4 buildings in the very large tropical garden. I live in one house myself with my family, the others are available for rent.
The house was completely renovated in 2019 and built in a Thai style, partly covered with a thatched roof. The roof terrace with mountain view, limited sea view, and view into the garden invites you to linger. Enjoy the sun or drink your morning coffee under the small thatched roof on your terrace on the 1st floor, listen to the birds and enjoy the start of the morning.
The interior design and security standard is European. The bedroom has air conditioning and a spacious bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin.
The 2nd room is equipped as a living room with TV, air conditioning, and another bathroom. From here you also have access to the covered garden terrace.
In the outside area is the partly open, but with a thatched roof covered kitchen, approx. 30 square metres, with access to the roof terrace. The kitchen has a ceramic hob, gas cooker, kettle. Fully automatic coffee machine, fridge with freezer compartment, as well as all kitchen utensils are amply available. On your arrival, you will find everything you need to enjoy your first breakfast in the morning.
The house maid comes 3 times a week free of charge, laundry and ironing can be booked on site for a small fee.
The entire house is supplied by its own very good drinking water system, regularly maintained and checked.
Breakfast or meals can be booked on request, also on a daily basis.
In the evening, the entire grounds, pool, pond and garden are illuminated, giving them a completely different charm. Enjoy the starry sky with a glass of wine on your own covered roof terrace. It offers a fantastic picture.
In the centre of the garden, on an island in the middle of the pond, there is a small sala. The sala is approx. 50 square metres in size. This is a communal area. Here you can play for free, we have a billiard and a dart's disc, or just playing cards. You can also buy all kinds of drinks here at a reasonable price, which will be charged on departure.
A car park is available directly in front of your house, and a car can be rented from 20€ per day.

In the event of cancellation of the holiday apartment by the tenant, the following cancellation conditions apply: - Withdrawal up to the 120th day before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price - Withdrawal up to the 90th day before the start of the rental period: 60% of the rental price - Up to 14 days before the start of the rental period: 80% of the rental price - In case of no-show: 100% of the rental price.

In Sam Roi Yot, there is no pronounced rainy season. For this reason, the most famous neighbour is the royal family of Thailand, who have their private residence here.
Last year we had 11 rainy days, which means that it rains for 1 or 2 hours and shortly afterwards the sun shines again. In January, temperatures can drop below 25 degrees on 2-3 days.

Our dream house is located near the mountains and the sea. The large windows provide plenty of natural light.
For the third time, we were able to spend our vacation at Klaus and Marlies' Villa Malee Garden. The two are wonderful hosts, open to every wish, surprising us with great excursion ideas. The house itself and the property are beautiful, planned and equipped with so much attention to detail that you truly want for nothing. A housekeeper and gardener took care of us lovingly, ensuring tasks like our laundry being regularly washed and ironed, or serving us fresh coconuts or other fruits from the garden on the breakfast table whenever we wanted. Additionally, a property manager and his Thai wife are always on-site, stocking the new bar excellently, even offering us the luxury of being cooked for on the spot, including freshly grilled fish from their own pond!
Entertainment is also well taken care of: pool, music system by the pool, chess, bocce, table tennis, billiards, darts, a grand piano... every wish was fulfilled, and there was no boredom, not even for our 5 teenagers aged between 17 and 23.
The beach is within walking distance (approximately 2-3 km), although having a car is recommended, for day trips, and also for dining in the evenings at one of the larger beaches (Dolphinbay, Khao Kalok Beach, Pak Nam Pran) by the sea.
The property is adjacent to the Sam Roi Yot National Park, featuring beautiful attractions (e.g. Phraya Nakhon Cave) but remaining unspoiled by tourism. One can still experience elephants in the wild here or even feed wild monkeys. Klaus always has a great idea for activities. If one desires a bit more excitement, Hua Hin with its attractions such as the night market, water park, shopping malls, etc., is easily reachable in 40 minutes by car.
What we all find so special about this property is that you can enjoy the peace and relaxation of a private holiday home, while having the comfort and luxury of a well-maintained hotel. It's the perfect combination!

Dream vacation in Thailand!
Dear Walter and dear Alisha,
we don't even know how to thank you for the wonderful vacation at your place. We were and are more than impressed by the dreamlike house, the pool, and garden area. Whether it was your help with the first car ride or your brilliant tips for fantastic beaches, great restaurants, and amazing markets, not to mention the delicious fresh coconuts from your garden that we enjoyed by the pool every day. Walter, your fantastic way of explaining and showing us everything is unique. We simply wish to come back again. We think it was the most beautiful weeks of the year. Das Haus selbst und die Anlage ist wunderschön und mit so viel Liebe fürs Detail geplant und ausgestattet, so dass es einem wirklich an nichts fehlt. Eine Haushälterin und ein Gärtner kümmerten sich liebevoll um uns, so dass z.B. auch unsere Wäsche regelmäßig gewaschen und gebügelt wurde oder wir, wann immer wir es wollten, frische Kokosnuss oder andere Früchte aus dem Garten auf dem Frühstückstisch hatten. Ebenfalls ist ständig ein Hausverwalter mit seiner thailändischen Frau vor Ort, so dass die neue Bar super bestückt ist und wir sogar den Luxus hatten, uns vor Ort und Stelle bekochen zu lassen, sogar mit frisch gegrilltem Fisch aus dem eigenen Teich!
Auch für die Unterhaltung ist bestens gesorgt: Pool, Muskanlage am Pool, Schach, Boccia, Tischtennis, Billiard, Dart, ein Flügel.... da blieben keine Wünsche offen und es gab auch keine Langeweile, auch nicht für unsere 5 Jugendlichen im Alter zwischen 17 und 23 Jahren.
Der Strand ist fussläufig zu erreichen (ca. 2-3 km), wobei sich ein Auto empfiehlt, z.B. um Tagesausflüge zu machen, aber auch abends an einen der größeren Strände (Dophinbay, Khao Kalok Beach, Pak Nam Pran) am Strand abend zu essen.
Die Anlage liegt angrenzend an den Nationalpark Sam Roi Yot, der durch wunderschöne Ausflugsziele (z.B. Phraya Nakhon Cave) besticht, aber dennoch touristisch nicht überlaufen ist. So kann man z.B. hier noch Elefanten in der Wildnis erleben oder aber auch wilde Affen füttern. Klaus hat immer eine tolle Idee parat. Möchte man es einmal etwas turbulenter haben, so ist Hua Hin mit seinen Attraktionen wie z.B. Nachtmarkt, Wasserpark, Shopping Malls etc. in 40 min mit dem Auto einfach zu erreichen.

wir wissen gar nicht wie wir uns für den wunderschönen Urlaub bei euch bedanken können.
Wir waren und sind von dem Traumhaften Haus , der Pool und Gartenanlage mehr als begeistert.
Egal ob es eure Hilfe bei der 1. Autofahrt war oder eure genialen Tipps für traumhafte Strände, spitzen Restaurants und tollen Märkten, natürlich nicht zu vergessen die leckeren frischen Kokosnüsse aus eurem Garten, die wir täglich an den Pool bekamen.
Walter deine spitzen Art, wie du uns alles erklärt und gezeigt hast ist einmalig.
Wir wünschen uns einfach noch einmal kommen zu können.
Wir sind der Meinung, dass es die schönsten Wochen im Jahr waren.
