Description
The detached Finn cottage is modernly furnished. The domicile is also popular due to its quiet and secluded hillside location on the edge of the forest. Available for shared use are: sunbathing lawn, children's playground, swing, barbecue area, garden furniture, and campfire site.
Location
Saint Kilian, 490 m above sea level. The Finn cabin is located on a 6000 sqm open plot with meadow. The landlord does not live in the house or on the property. Natural plot with 7 Finn cabins. The property is located in the Thuringian Forest Nature Park near the Vessertal Biosphere Reserve. View into nature. Access is via a field or forest path (unpaved, length 100 m). In winter, snow chains are recommended. Parking (for 10 cars) on the property and a parking space in the village (distance 200 m). Use of the central parking lot in the village only in winter with heavy snow.

The entrance to your Finnhütte leads over 4 steps and an external staircase and the terrace directly into the living room.
Ground floor: Living room (20 sqm) with seating area, TV, radio, dining area (5 seats) and access to the terrace. Kitchen (5 sqm) with electric stove (4 plates), oven, refrigerator (freezer compartment), coffee machine, toaster, and electric kettle. Bathroom (5 sqm) with shower, 1 washbasin, toilet, and window.
Attic: Bedroom (10 sqm) with 3 single beds. Bedroom (10 sqm) with 2 single beds.
House rules
The hosting of parties or events is prohibited.
Smoking is not allowed on the premises.
The landlord does not confirm bookings from youth groups under 25 years of age.

Included in the price: parking place, water.
Side costs - Costs on the spot: Obligatory: electricity 5 € all inclusive per day (28.04.26-28.09.26), electricity 10 € all inclusive per day (22.11.25-28.04.26, 28.09.26-31.10.26), final cleaning 50 € per object per stay. hand towels to bring along. On request: bed linen 6 € per person per stay.

The environment was very nice.
The ravine to the Finnhütten is dangerous to cross and must be made safe and roadworthy.
The lighting in the area was completely missing, a major source of danger, as the paved paths are sometimes wobbly or broken.
