Description

Our holiday home is comfortably furnished and offers enough living space for four people. The well-equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, radio and offers space for four people in the dining area. In the tastefully furnished living room there is a TV (satellite) with DVD player. From here you can access the sheltered and covered terrace, which is equipped with garden furniture and invites you to relax and barbecue (even on rainy days). On the upper floor there is a "master bedroom" with a double bed and TV, as well as a bedroom with two single beds. Furthermore, there is a bathroom with a ground-level rain shower and WC on the upper floor and another WC on the ground floor. Internet and telephone are free of charge
The free use of our rowing boat and two bicycles are also part of our offer.

Our holiday home is located on a small peninsula on the shore of a branch of the Timmeler Meer with direct access to the water. From the house's own jetty, you can explore the Timmeler Meer and the Fehn area via canals with our boat (use is free of charge). The Timmeler Meer is a 25 ha inland lake in Timmel/Großefehn in the heart of East Frisia. Within a few minutes' walk you can reach the lido, the dog beach and the marina. A total of 200 km of signposted cycle paths lead past numerous canals and mills through beautiful moorland from village to village. The Timmeler Meer is also known for its good fish stock. Here, anglers can indulge in their hobby.

***Pure Relaxation***

For the second time, we spent our vacation in Anne's house by the lake.

Walking in and feeling at home with the fantastic view of the water... those were our first impressions!!!

A very clean and lovingly furnished house awaits you.
The kitchen is well equipped, and we slept wonderfully in the comfortable beds.
The bathroom is up to date.

We mainly came to relax and cycle, and we fully enjoyed the surroundings. The wind-protected covered terrace could be used for all meals and of course for the evening wind-down.
Just the view of the water invites it.... Wonderful relaxing?

Anyone, like us, looking for a break from everyday life will find it here!!!

A week relaxing with the familiar comfort of home.

My wife and I spent a wonderful week at Anne's house by the lake. We found a spotless house with a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. A living room with a television that doesn't require binoculars to watch. Bedrooms with good mattresses for a restful sleep. The house is very well equipped, so you immediately feel at home and really don’t want to leave. We can wholeheartedly recommend Anne's house by the lake and will gladly book it again as soon as possible.

Perfect relaxation

The vacation home is perfect , the location on the canal with a dock is very peaceful .
The covered terrace is enjoyable even in rainy weather.
Lovely furnishings , everything is well-maintained and clean.
The kitchen is amazing, lots of dishes and glasses, pots, and pans .
Sharp knives .
Edeka is open on Sundays, within walking distance.
Very friendly and helpful landlords and neighbors who take care of everything.
We can recommend the vacation home.

Holiday home Timmel Fam. Rietzke

We were in Timmel for the second time and we will definitely come back. We would love to rent this house again. It is very well equipped, well maintained and has everything you need. We found a very clean apartment, the furnishings were also in top condition. Even on cool evenings, you could sit comfortably on the covered terrace. So everything was very good, we can only recommend the holiday house. A big thank you to Anne and Klaus Rietzke Anne and Klaus Weiß from Bottrop.

Guys, it's amazing, the environment, the people and the house.

The house is clean and cosy, 90% of everything is just like at home.
The lake is less than 10 metres away.

Great house.

We were at this house for New Year's Eve for the first time, but certainly not for the last time. The house was in an excellent clean condition upon our arrival!!!! It has very good equipment and is very tastefully furnished. The mattresses in the bedrooms are great. Our highlight, however, is the view of the water, our private beach and boat. The location is fantastic, absolutely quiet. Shopping facilities (Edeka with bakery) are in the village. We spend our vacations mainly in holiday homes and therefore have a lot of experience, but this is definitely one of the top places!! We will definitely come back.

Very nice, relaxing holiday - with own jetty and small boat

We spent 1 week as a family (4 people in total, 2 of them children) with our dog in the beautiful holiday home at the Timmeler Meer
We liked it very much, it felt like home. It is a great holiday home that lacks nothing. The highlight is the garden with its own jetty and small boat, so you can either swim in the water right next to the jetty or take a boat trip from there and explore the surroundings by water. The house was very clean, the direct neighbours very nice and the contact with the landlord and cleaning lady was totally uncomplicated. A private parking space rounded off the stay
We would come back at any time!
Thank you very much for letting us stay here for 1 week on the spur of the moment!

Relaxing vacation

We arrived with 3 adults, a child, and a dog and found a clean house. The house is nicely furnished, including the kitchen inventory, and there is ample crockery with everything you need. We booked the linen package, and the beds were already freshly made. The location is great right by the lake. Contact worked well, thank you very much. The photos posted match reality. We had a lovely holiday week.

Super holiday again

We have been spending our holidays in your holiday home for 22 years. 3 weeks of super holiday.

We will come back ⚓❤.

We were allowed to spend our summer vacation this year in your truly beautiful holiday home. Almost 3 weeks in a house where we felt very comfortable and lacked nothing. Since we didn't have much luck with the weather, we were glad about the covered terrace with the best view of the water and the brand-new jetty. For us anglers, an absolute dream. We spent many hours here, whether fishing, swimming, or just enjoying the scenery. 🌊 or just let your soul⛱ dangle. We can definitely say that we had a wonderful vacation in your holiday home.

We will definitely come back next year, and it's already booked.

Relaxing "time out"...

We love to travel to Timmeler Meer for 'a few days' time and time again - lots of peace and relaxation are possible here, for both humans and pets. The house is very cozy, tidy, and excellently equipped - the feel-good factor is absolutely present! The pleasant handling beforehand by the landlady and the reception on site already make you crave for MORE ...

Wonderful vacation for relaxation

This year, we were on summer vacation in this wonderful house with our 2 children (14, 12). Situated on a small island farm directly by the lake, this lovingly renovated house made us feel completely at ease. While our children paddled on the lake, we could watch over them perfectly from the cozy terrace. In each room, the loving design of the spaces is evident, the bathroom is newly renovated with a great shower, and cooking in the kitchen was a joy. Exploring the surroundings was also fun. Besides a mudflat hike, visiting fishing villages, and various sights, the open-air museums were very interesting for our children as well. At the beginning of our vacation, we were very nicely taken care of by the landlady in addition to the written information. The friendly impression on the phone can be found again in the equipment of the house. We are looking forward to our next vacation!
