Description

The spacious holiday home, built in a dream location on a small hill in the typical landscape of "Epirus" on the Ionian Sea, is virtually hidden among the olive and citrus trees surrounding it and fits in perfectly with its surroundings. The large living/bedroom is equipped with a sofa, satellite TV, cupboards, wood-burning stove, double bed; in the spacious dining and lounge area with integrated kitchen, all kitchen utensils and sufficient crockery are available (from garlic press to coffee machine). All rooms have access to the outside through patio doors with mosquito and sun protection. The furniture is rustic, the floor is tiled. The large, west-facing terrace with a magnificent view of the sea and sunset behind Corfu, is equipped with wooden garden furniture. Sun loungers are also available
The holiday home is generally only rented to a group or family.

Generous, alleinstehndes cottage with hillside on a 3,500 m² large fenced plot with citrus, fruit and some ancient olive trees in quiet location. A large, west-facing terrace with panoramic sea views and stunning sunset. In the east, two small breakfast terraces. The lanes between pastures and olive groves are well suited for walking.

Faskomilia is about 17 km from the port of Igoumenitsa. Travel options by car from Venice, Ancona or Bari by ferry to Igoumenitsa.
By plane to Corfu, then by ferry to Igoumentisa or flight to Preveza (approx. 70 km). Worthwhile excursions are: DODONI with its well-preserved theatre and oracle site, IOANNINA with its picturesque townscape, lake and island village, the stalactite cave of PERAMA (4 km from IOANNINA), the national park with the VIKOS gorge (a "must" for hikers, uniquely beautiful), the pretty mountain villages of ZAGORIA, the beautiful harbour town of PARGA, the METEORA monasteries near Kalambaka. The waxwork museum (Ali Pasha) of PAVLOS VRELLIS in Rizani near Ioannina. 12 x daily ferry connections from Igoumenitsa to KORFU city and excursions to the small but beautiful island of PAXOS south of Corfu.

All round successful holiday

We recommend this holiday home without any ifs and buts. The accommodation is very well equipped, very clean, in a very quiet location with a beautiful view of the bay. The beds were also very comfortable (my husband and I both have back problems). Our little daughter had plenty of room to run around in and around the house, and the neighbourhood cats came to visit often. The veranda is a dream and was our favourite place.

By car, you can reach the quiet and well-maintained pebble beach within a few minutes, and in the village there are shopping facilities, cafes and restaurants. We felt very comfortable here!

Never recovered so quickly and well!!!!

We had a wonderful three weeks in this beautiful holiday home!
It was super clean, quiet and had a beautiful view of the sea !!!! It is only 5 minutes by car to the sea.
The house is situated between old olive trees, crickets are chirping and the garden is very original. Only to recommend !!!
