Description
Our apartment is in a redeveloped “Umgebindehaus” and is 45 square metres. It accommodates two adults and two children. You can enter from a separate entrance.
Via the corridor on the ground you go into the bathroom, which is fitted with a shower and WC and you go into one of two rooms. In the “living room” there is a sleeping couch and TV. After this room is the kitchen, which has a cooker and a dishwasher. And the dining table is big enough to have breakfast with the whole family. Upstairs there is a separate bedroom for two persons. In addition you can especially use the seating corner outside to have a barbecue.

Location and surroundings of object
In Neuschirgiswalde and surroundings it` s a good area for hiking. From here you can reach a lot of hills. Furthermore it` s not so far to the mountains “Sächsische Schweiz”, the Czech Republic and Dresden.
Cyclists also can enjoy the beautiful mountain landscape of the “Oberlausitz”. Mountain bikers can ride through the wood and the open countryside. The less traffic roads in the region and the in parts well-built cycle paths you can use as well for a relaxed family cycling trip.
Three kilometres away is the “Körse Therme”, a swimming pool especially for relaxing.
Another place of popular resorts is the old town Bautzen. You will surprise about the nice historical town centre.
Families with children have a lot of possibilities to enjoy an exciting and varied holiday in the “Oberlausitz”. To go on an excursion to the Saurian Park in Kleinwelka or to the amusement swimming pool in the neighbouring village is fun for the whole family.
These are only some ways to enjoy your holiday in the “Oberlausitz” individually.
The small town is also called “Pearl of the Oberlausitz”. Schirgiswalde is situated in the direction of Bautzen on the river Spree.
Our holiday apartment is next to a beautiful wood in Neuschirgiswalde – an area of Schirgiswalde. Here you can enjoy your holiday in a traditional house for the “Oberlausitz”, called “Umgebindehaus”.
