This exquisitely renovated, contemporary house fuses echoes of the past with contemporary comforts and the flair of an artist to create a holiday home of exceptional character and charm. Anshoo and David's home during the winter can be enjoyed by our guests during the desirable spring, summer and autumn seasons, making Villa Mandalay a real home away from home.
The house flows over one level includes a master bedroom with en suite bathroom, along with the two twin bedrooms and adjacent family bathroom. These interact seemlessly with the large open plan living-dining-kitchen area.
Patio doors open onto a flower-fringed terrace - the perfect spot to enjoy an aperitif and admire the breathtaking vistas towards the coast.
Outside, the refreshing pool sits in a scented garden – perfect for hot summer days.
In this well-tended garden is a seperate bungalow with a king size bed and its own en-suite bathroom, perfect for those desiring more privacy from the main house.
It would be difficult to find a more delightful and charming home anywhere, but if you can bear to leave Villa Mandalay, the shops and restaurants of this pretty fishing town are just a energizing walk away along the beach and through the cobbled whitewashed streets and begging to be explored.

Villa Mandalay is one of three villas I have in El Roqueo near Conil de la Frontera. All three villas are just 400m walk from the beach of El Roqueo.

Gary Biston has over 30 years experience working in the travel and hospitality industry. Gary originally qualified as a chef, before moving into hotel management and the travel industry - working in France, Colombia, Spain and her islands. Having worked in a variety of positions, in many European countries and Latin America, for both mass market and specialist operators - Gary has a well rounded background and understands the varying needs of his clients. It comes natural to him to try that little more, to offer better than the rest – a philosophy which became second nature whilst working for up-market companies like Lotus Supertravel Ski and Simply Travel. Whilst still living in London he was a founding Director of Simpson Travel and was instrumental in hand picking their portfolio of properties for their programme of distinctive villas and charming hotels in Andalucía, Mallorca and Morocco. In 2004 he and his family moved permanently to Andalucía where they live in Medina Sidonia.
