Description

At the beginning of 2019 our Chalet Nordlicht in Julianadorp aan Zee will be finished.
The new chalet is well equipped with 2 bedrooms, a spacious bathroom (with ground-floor shower) and a living/dining area
with built-in modern and top-equipped kitchen.
There is also a comfortable couch, armchair with footstool and of course a SAT-TV with DVD player and a small HIFI system.
The dining area is equipped with a spacious table and 4 comfortable chairs.

In the bedrooms there are box spring beds: 1 bedroom with a double bed 160/200 and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds 80/200 each

In the garden area is a spacious terrace equipped with table and 4 chairs and for the lawn 2 sun beds.
There is also a lockable garden shed where you can park your bicycles or recharge your e-bikes.

Location and surroundings of object

Our Chalet Nordlicht is located on the perfectly situated camping site Oase in Julianadorp aan Zee in the northern part of the province Noord-Holland. Here you have the right location for your dream holiday by the sea and can spend a wonderful holiday.

Camping Oase is situated directly at the dunes, the access to the nearby beach is only 100 meters away. Here you can reach the miles long sandy beach super fast and the sea water of best quality
There are also 2 great playgrounds for children on the campsite and a soccer field on artificial grass

Julianadorp is surrounded by numerous flower fields. The village itself offers a very good infrastructure with numerous cafes, restaurants and grocery stores.

In the immediate vicinity there is a swimming pool, 9 hole golf course, mini golf course, modern bowling alley, climbing forest, indoor and outdoor parks, surf school, wellness, riding school, bicycle rental, restaurants, harbour & marine town Den Helder, the island Texel and much more

The Helder with among other things (Naval Museum, Fort Kijkduin and the sea aquarium as well as a railway station), from Den Helder there are regular boat connections to the island Texel

You can take different boat trips from Den Helder, Den Oever or from the IJsselmeer. For example, there are guided excursions to the Wadden Sea in Den Oever or deep-sea fishing with ships departing from Den Helder

Also the beautiful cities like Schagen, Hoorn am Ijsselmeer, Alkmaar (cheese market) or Amsterdam are easily accessible by car.

Beautiful chalet

We were there for a week in May. We received the key easily from the reception. They were very nice there as well. The chalet is fully equipped with dishes, glasses, pots, and pans. There were even spices and tabs for the dishwasher. We felt very comfortable. Thank you very much to Berthold and Frauke. It was very nice and relaxing. We had a great time. Maybe we will come back again, maybe even with the caravan. See you soon. Sabine & Kalle

Super accommodation

"Relax" is displayed in one of the window decorations, and this is likely the basis for this accommodation. Super central but also quiet location. Only a few minutes' walk to the sea. We were two, and the space was ideal. A beautifully and tastefully furnished holiday home where everything you need is available and even more. (Also games for children, a cart, loungers,....). We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our holiday.

Highly recommended!

Beautiful interior of the chalet, modern and well-maintained. Extensive and well-sorted range in the kitchen, including travel guides and board games in the living area, beach chairs, and comfortable garden furniture in the garden house. Bicycles can be stored and charged there. We felt very comfortable and would book it again anytime.

Great chalet in a great location

A great, modern, and very tastefully furnished chalet in a superb location. It's not far to the beach, Julianadorp, or Den Helder. The chalet has everything you need and more, is very clean and well-equipped. The reception was very warm and helpful. The key handover went smoothly, and the price of the chalet is absolutely appropriate for the equipment and location. There is a bicycle rental, several restaurants, beautiful destinations, and numerous shopping opportunities nearby. Everyone understands German very well.

Beautiful and relaxing like a dream

Full of anticipation, but also with a certain tension and expectation, we reached our holiday home - and were immediately thrilled. We found a chalet with thoughtful and tasteful furnishings, with lots of attention to detail. Both the chalet and the entire complex are very well-maintained. Miles of sandy beaches, well-marked cycling paths, interesting towns in the near and far surroundings. And not to forget the peaceful hours on the terrace. All of this has made this vacation very special!

All is well

An important note in advance: the Oase campsite consists of dozens of prefab bungalows, of which the "Chalet Nordlicht" is one. So you are never really alone and the views to the left and right are a bit dull.

Apart from that, however, there is nothing to criticize. The furnishings include a stove/microwave combo, a 4-burner gas stove, and even a dishwasher, along with a dining table with 4 chairs, a sofa, an armchair, TV, and a stereo system. The pure luxury :) Additionally, there is a small shower room, a small bedroom with a double bed, and one with 2 relatively small single beds. We were two, and it was a perfect fit. With 2 children, it could work as well. However, 2 more adults would likely be too much, as it would be quite cramped.

The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, and the nearest bakery is about the same distance. If you want to go shopping, you should hop on your bike or get in the car because the nearest "real" supermarket is a few minutes away by car.

The staff at the campsite are very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi is included, it works better at times, worse at others, but mostly quite well.

Overall, we felt very comfortable.

Everything is great!

We arrived with a toddler. The key handover went smoothly. The chalet is very cozy and stylishly furnished, there is nothing missing there. The equipment is top notch, everything is very clean and well maintained. Directly in view are the dunes and the beach is only a short walk away. We will definitely come back. ☀️
