Dreamy

The house is located on the edge of the forest, yet you feel as if you are in the middle of the woods. The first sight alone enchanted us. Everything you could wish for is available in the house. There was absolutely nothing missing.

From the bedroom, we could look directly into the greenery, and in the morning only the birds woke us up. The dining table also offered a beautiful view through the large window into the small garden. In good weather, you can also have breakfast outside and look directly into the valley.

There was also a stove if it got chilly in the evenings. We didn't need to use it because the heating worked perfectly.

The shower is an experience, and from the bathtub, you can almost see the village down in the valley. Simply beautiful!

The surroundings are perfect for hiking. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the village. There are shopping facilities and a sweet little bakery. The Fichtelbergbahn steam train runs through the village several times a day and is always an experience.

We felt comfortable all around.

Timeout in nature

The vacation house is located above the village, directly at the edge of the forest, and is an ideal starting point for hikes and excursions. The village is also easily reached on foot (with shopping and dining options). The amenities are top-notch, and the landlords are very nice and caring. It is ideal for people looking for peace in nature, but also for families with children. Our two children were thrilled!

Relaxing time out at the edge of the forest

If you are looking for peace and quiet from everyday life, this is the place for you. The holiday home is located above the village, directly on the edge of the forest. Ideal starting point for hikes and excursions. The centre of the village can be reached in less than 10 minutes on foot. The holiday home is very clean, well maintained and well equipped. We enjoyed the idyllic location and wanted for nothing. Ideal also with children, as you are directly in nature. A very clear recommendation from us!

Quiet location, relaxed days!

Beautiful little cottage right on the edge of the forest. Located away from the village and very quiet. Cross-country ski trail, ski slope, and hiking paths in close proximity. 500 meters to the Fichtelbergbahn.

Beautiful cottage

We felt very comfortable in the sweet little house, we had all the rain, snow and also ☀️ which we particularly liked the peace and quiet, you can get everywhere on foot if you want, and the hiking trails are all on the doorstep. The cottage itself is equipped with everything you need - everything is clean and tidy.

Recreation at the edge of the forest

We travelled by train, the last stretch between Cranzahl and Neudorf is served by the Fichtelbergbahn. From the station it is about 15 minutes up the hill to the idyllic Waldhaus. We were greeted and seen off very nicely and enjoyed the days at the Waldhaus very much. In Neudorf itself, you can sign up to make smoked candles at the Weihrauch Karzl, have a delicious meal at the Gasthaus zur Bimmelbahn and, above all, enjoy the great pine forest and the views. It only takes about 2 hours to walk to Oberwiesenthal. We didn't want for anything in the house, the shower with steam sauna function is especially great. We would love to come back!

Very nice little house for peace and nature

The holiday home is wonderfully quiet on the edge of the forest and directly on hiking trails. We felt very comfortable, the house is well equipped, with a very nice garden, even with a fountain. A wellness shower is also available! The surrounding area is very beautiful: Many hiking destinations and sights can be reached from Neudorf. The Bergmann family is very warm and helpful and was always available. Clear recommendation!

Pure relaxation at the edge of the forest

The photos do not promise too much! The house is located directly on the edge of the forest (don't worry: you will be well protected against insects by fly screens) and therefore very quiet. A hiking trail passes directly by the house. Within two minutes you are in the forest, on foot after about 20 minutes - wonderfully through meadows or, slightly faster, along the hardly busy road - at the bakery, butcher, restaurant and supermarket as well as at the Fichtelbergbahn railway station.
There is nothing missing in the house that you need on vacation, it is bright, friendly and lovingly newly furnished, even a "shower experience" is available.
The Bergmann couple is very nice and helpful (they didn't mind that we locked ourselves out - thank you again), as are the friendly neighbors.
We will gladly come back!

Relaxing winter holiday in any weather.

We had a great week of vacation in the very beautiful and lovingly furnished holiday home. The house has everything that makes a vacation comfortable.
The location is on the edge of the forest, a bit outside of the town and very quiet. We had all kinds of weather during this week. Storm (Julia) with rain, sun, and even some snow. We could feel comfortable in the house in any weather. It is always warm, and if it's not enough, the small stove is lit.
In Neudorf, you can explore a lot, for example at "Karzl," which must be visited, and the Fichtelberg Bahn, which has a small train station in the middle of the town. From there, you can go to Cranzahl or Oberwiesental.
Unfortunately, we didn't have enough snow to start skiing from the holiday home. But anyone who is bored in this dreamlike area is to blame themselves.
We will definitely come back and hope for snow.

Restful winter holidays

We spent a fantastic, relaxing vacation week here. The vacation house is located right by the forest and it is absolutely quiet. The first view upon waking up is directly onto the snow-covered trees. You can hike directly from the vacation house or unpack the cross-country skis. Despite its idyllic location, you can reach Oberwiesenthal in 15 minutes by car or walk to the train station and take the Fichtelbergbahn.
The landlords are very friendly, the vacation house is well-maintained and we are already looking forward to the next time.

Great short vacation. Ideal location for hiking. The vacation rental itself is lovingly decorated. Perfect for 2 people.

Beautiful holiday home with complete equipment.

Top-equipped holiday home right on the edge of the forest. A convenient starting point for hikes, to the ski lift, or other activities. With the best weather and lots of snow, we had a lovely winter vacation. Highly recommended by us for relaxing holidays.

Dreamy cabin in a romantic landscape

Our first stay in a small, secluded cottage was a dream and our expectations were far exceeded:
The lovingly furnished house with complete equipment is perfect for a small family with two children as well as for a romantic and restful holiday for two.
Modern appliances in the bathroom and kitchen, combined with a cozy wood stove in the living area, leave nothing to be desired. Pure nature through the isolated location right on the edge of the forest quickly makes you forget everyday life. This will certainly not have been our last stay here!
