Architect house ideally located on the side of the mountain km from the ocean, the large bay windows in each room of the house allow you to enjoy an exceptional 360° panorama all day long offering a view of the village of Moledo in the south at the mouth of the Minho River and Spanish mountain "Santa Tecla in the north. In the "Au fil de l'eau" bathroom you can enjoy a privileged moment at the end of the day by watching the sunset in your bathtub and why not by tasting a delicious Port wine. If you come out of season, a stove will warm up the atmosphere of spring and autumn evenings. Wood, glass, metal, stone and metal give this house a special charm and character. The furniture is sober and contemporary. The "azulejos" are decorated, painted by hand by the owner, it is an artist's house, designed and built with the objective of pleasure, relaxation, calm, rest and serenity. Wifi is optional, on request. The surroundings are full of cultural destinations, the beaches are nearby: Moledo, the beach of Foz do Minho, perfect for young children, Ancô Cultural visits are many and varied.

An incredible view
The house is well equipped and in good condition. It is cosy and warm even when it is below 10°C thanks to the wood stove.
What really blows you away is the view! The view from all the rooms and from the balcony is simply indescribable.

Hello, I am Maria DE CARVALHO, owner of this beautiful and pleasant house located in the heart of the charming village of Cristelo. I live in France but I have known Cristelo since my childhood because it is my father's native village and I love to recharge my batteries there. I am a ceramist, a decorator on earthenware, I paint "azulejos", you know? These are the typical Portuguese hand-painted earthenware tiles. The decorations of the two bathrooms "over the water" and "poppies" were painted by me. You can also enjoy several reproductions of my pastels creations in the house. Passionate about craftsmanship, I wanted to share with you these creations presented in a setting that reflects my image and makes you feel good. I hope you will enjoy this magical place as much as I do when I have the pleasure of staying there. Have a nice stay in Cristelo!!!!!
