The spacious comfort apartment on the 2nd and top floor of our house features an open yet visually separated living-dining area with a comfort kitchen (dishwasher, fully automatic coffee machine, induction cooktop, multifunction oven, and more), a large bedroom with double box-spring bed and separate walk-in closet, a second room as an office or bedroom with a comfortable folding sofa with approx. 140 x 200 cm sleeping area, modern shower bathroom with WC and urinal, a large roof terrace facing southeast and a balcony facing west, both furnished. Additionally, a separate guest WC is available. The apartment has its own modern washing machine and a modern dryer. Of course, WLAN, satellite TV reception, and radio reception are available.
In the garden there is a separate sauna house and a comfort hot whirlpool, which can be used by arrangement and for a small fee – naturally also completely privately!! For long stays, our highly attractive, individual rental price can be requested!!

Our house is located in a quiet residential area without any traffic noise disturbance, just a few meters from the forest and nature. Various shops and bakeries can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes. Marpingen has a center of excellence for gliding, the Marian pilgrimage site in the Härtelwald, and beautiful topography. In close proximity lies the municipality of Tholey with the oldest abbey in Germany, the district town of St. Wendel, and the Bostalsee, all just a few minutes away by car.

Bed linen and towels can be brought along if you wish, or you can choose our comfort package, in which case the beds will be made upon arrival and hand and bath towels will be ready. In the nudist garden there is a separate sauna house and a comfort hot whirlpool, which can also be used privately by arrangement.

MTB Tour
We spent a few days here mountain biking. In this regard, we were positively surprised by the area. The place has a good infrastructure, but the paths are quite far on foot, at about 900 meters. Therefore, one star deduction for the location. However, it is very quiet in the apartment. The landlords are very warm and lovely. The apartment is equipped with everything the heart desires, including a coffee machine. As a highlight, the landlords also offer their sauna and whirlpool, which are located in their private area and are gladly used by the two of them. After our tours, we were of course very grateful to be able to use the sauna for relaxation. Overall, we felt very comfortable and would unreservedly recommend the accommodation.

A very special vacation apartment
We are still amazed by this apartment in the northern Saarland. We were at a festival at Bostalsee and actually didn't want to leave the apartment at all.... Everything perfectly clean, extremely comfortable, and with the rooftop terrace and balcony, we could enjoy the sun from sunrise to sunset. Very nice contact with the landlords.
