Old barn being renovated. OPEN JULY 2018
Ideal location for exploring the Alsace! 30 km from Strasbourg, 1 hour drive to Colmar and nature at the foot of the cottage. Ideal for athletes with a massive close to 652 meters, (mountain bike and bike)
The Gite is located at the end of the street, in an old house that also offers La Maison d'Amélie.
We live on the property.
We offer a cottage with a large living space, large kitchen open to living room and dining room and wood stove. The terrace is directly accessible from the living room, it offers a beautiful exhibition throughout the day. Sunny mid in the morning, sun at noon and evening.
On the first floor, 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 beds, as well as a bathroom and toilet.
The beds are made and the towels provided.
We also have a gazebo adjoining the petanque field, this one generously shaded.
I am a wine merchant (former sommelier) in the village, it is with pleasure that we share a glass of wine.

Simply dreamy!
We were allowed to spend wonderful days in an exceptionally well-equipped apartment. Everything needed for a relaxing vacation is there. The kitchen is perfect for all purposes, spacious rooms, good mattresses, and an extremely accommodating landlord. The location is very good for long bike rides and hikes. Shopping opportunities are 7 km away in a well-stocked supermarket – no wishes are left unfulfilled. We are happy and will definitely come back!

Very nice apartment
Very nice modern and tastefully furnished apartment with a nice terrace. Well-equipped kitchen, nothing is missing. I've never seen such beautiful dishes in any other apartment. Delicious baguettes or sweets are delivered in the morning by order from the landlord. Very quiet location, very close to the edge of the forest. Optimal for hiking in the woods. Friendly landlord who speaks German very well. One feels immediately comfortable here. However, you need to drive to visit a restaurant. In the village, there is only one restaurant. Large supermarket about 8 km away. The apartment is highly recommended.

Beautiful cocoon in tranquility
Modern and functional layout, where nothing is missing, in a wonderful setting and completely peaceful. Terrace and relaxation areas (petanque, lounge corner under cover ...).

Dream vacation in Birchwood
Very quiet location at the foot of the Vosges, very nice, courteous, very good German-speaking landlord, hiking trails very close, good facilities. We felt in the best hands.
