Our largest holiday flat with approx. 100 m² on two floors for up to 6 people with its own terrace
Your holiday flat is located on the upper floor of the right-hand half of the customs house. It was completely renovated in 2018, while the historical substance was preserved.
The light-flooded living area, equipped with comfortable seating furniture, is modern and spacious with a room height of four metres, despite or perhaps because of the visible roof beams. It includes a large HDR flat-screen TV and a music system.
The open, large built-in kitchen with dining table is fully equipped and a real feel-good place for the whole family.
The large bedroom has a 1.80 metre wide double bed with comfortable single mattresses. There is also room for a cot, which is available from us.
In the second large bedroom there are two 80 cm single beds that can be joined together to form a 1.60 metre wide double bed, as well as a 90 centimetre wide single bed.
The bathroom shines with a shower, toilet and real wood washbasin.
A separate guest toilet is also located on the first floor.
Feel the expanse: From the panoramic windows of the living room, the view extends as far as Neuwerk or Wilhelmshaven. Just outside the window, as it were, is the green beach of Spieka-Neufeld with its cutter harbour.
In the entire holiday flat you have free W-LAN access and additional network sockets.
Washing machine and a heat pump dryer are also at your disposal.
In a separate shed you can store bicycles, beach utensils or a pram.
The 2,000 square metre garden invites you to linger. Here you have the opportunity to retreat, take a deep breath and simply relax.

Zollhaus Cuxland in Spieka-Neufeld; holiday destination Cuxhaven & surroundings on the Wurster North Sea coast directly on the Wadden Sea.
On the Wurster North Sea coast, part of the Wadden Sea Unesco World Heritage Site, the historic Zollhaus is located directly on the North Sea dyke and only 500 metres from the Grünstrand - one of the most beautiful and peaceful beaches in the area.
The air - a delight. The tranquillity - unparalleled. The horizon - can't be topped. The view - endless expanses. This is how a holiday goes!
Enjoy the harbour idyll in Spieka-Neufeld with its natural cutter and yacht harbour. The green beach offers beach chairs and a playground for the little ones.
The dog walking trail leads directly past the customs house. You can buy crabs directly from the cutter - or enjoy the freshly caught fish and North German cuisine in the restaurants located directly in the village or on the beach.
During the season, the baker comes directly to Spieka-Neufeld, fresh milk directly from the farmer is available all year round and a farm shop is also not far away. Further shopping facilities (Rewe, Aldi, Lidl, bakery, etc.) are available in the neighbouring village of Nordholz, about 5 km away.
Golfers will enjoy the "Hohe Klint" golf club with its 18-hole course, 3 km away.
You can experience a special treat at Watt'n Bad in Dorum Neufeld. The wave pool with a direct view of the sea is an experience for young and old, whatever the weather.
In just 15 minutes you can reach the North Sea resort of Cuxhaven with its lively beaches of Sahlenburg, Duhnen or Döse. Discover the surroundings with a harbour tour, visit the seal banks, experience a mudflat car ride to Neuwerk, or take the ferry to Helgoland.
The seaside town of Bremerhaven with its Klimahaus, the Zoo am Meer or the Emigration Museum is only 30 minutes away.

Cancellation terms:
A necessary cancellation of the trip must be communicated in writing. In case of a cancellation, the landlord's claim to the payment of the agreed travel price remains valid. Up to the 35th day before the start of the trip: 25%, up to the 21st day before the start of the trip: 50%, up to the 7th day before the start of the trip: 75%, up to the arrival 100% of the travel price, respectively. If the apartment can be rented to someone else, except for a processing fee of €50.00 for the additional effort, a settlement with the deposit or total rent will occur.

Living in a historic ambience with the comforts of our modern times: The historic customs house was once built to collect so-called Kramgeld (customs) for imported goods and to put a stop to smugglers. After the renovation in 2018, bright and modern rooms have been created, which exude a very special charm due to visible roof beams.
A large natural garden (2000 sqm) with a view over the adjacent meadows belongs to the customs house. In the house and in the garden you will find enough space to escape the stress of everyday life. Digital detox for the soul - simply switch off and enjoy.

Relaxing holiday in a great apartment
We have been coming here for several years and have stayed in all 4 vacation apartments in the Zollhaus. We have felt very comfortable in each one. They all have a special charm and very good amenities. A big compliment to Ms. Alien, who keeps the house super clean and has always taken good care of us. If you are looking for peace, enjoy cycling, or want to explore the surrounding area by car, this is absolutely the right place. If the weather is not so good, there are interesting museums in Cuxhaven or Bremerhaven that we have already visited. The view over the dike (especially at sunset) is particularly beautiful, which we have always enjoyed from the upper apartments. Thanks to the Rabe family, who made these accommodations possible.

Relaxing vacation
Relaxed arrival, to a spacious and cozy apartment, with a magnificent view of the North Sea and Neuwerk.
The possibilities for bike tours in the surrounding area are diverse - great paths, good signage.
Provision of groceries and bread is possible in the next village, about 6 km away, easily accessible by bike.
Restaurants are available within 2 to 6 km.

Very nice holiday and a great cozy apartment with a view of the sea.
It was a very nice vacation, especially the view from the top floor overlooking the sea is beautiful. It is a very nice area where everything important is accessible and close by, and you can do many activities.

Completely satisfied!
We were able to have a truly wonderful time in the government director's apartment. Everything was clean and tidy, the breathtaking view of the dunes and the North Sea invited us to dream! For us, the perfect place for a break where nothing was missing!!
