Our four-star holiday home is situated in the green heart of Germany in Stützerbach on Rennsteig. The house is surrounded by tall pines. It is fenced and your car can be parked outside the house. We offer a large living room with sofa and dining area, a high chair for children, cable TV, DVD player, radio, 2 bedroom with extra bed and baby bed (bed linen is provided), a kitchen with E-Herd/Backröhre, microwave, fridge-freezer and sääte, shower and toilet. After a full day or cultural trips, you can relax in the sauna or at the BBQ on the terrace of the day. In the sitting room there are books are for relaxing. Experience and enjoy the small health resort Stützerbach middle of the Rennsteig. Its like a romantic location is ideal for nature-loving people to explore the 168 km long hiking trail on their own. Stützerbach a harmonious village is surrounded by shady, dark woods and colorful alpine meadows. Extensive hiking trails and the special climate, the prerequisite for the time to let your soul right. We have a very nice museum, a Goethe Museum, the forest pool and many dining options that will prepare Thüringer real home cooking. Our art glass blower can be happy to look over their shoulder and sell you a souvenir of your vacation with us. The steam train enthusiasts will get their money.

Short vacation with family and dog
The holiday home is highly recommended to unwind with family and dog; you find everything you need and hardly hear any traffic noise. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and directly guided to the house where everything was shown to us. The landlady is very friendly and accommodating and is very warm-hearted. The house is very clean and well-maintained; you have everything you need, and the best part is that the kids and the dog could run around freely since it is completely fenced. We have decided that we will spend our vacation there again, as my family, the dog, and I were very happy there.

Quiet vacation
As always, a great vacation with the Müller family.
Peacefully located holiday home in the shade. Pleasant in the summer.
Our dogs and our grandson were able to play to their hearts' content.

Family holiday

A relaxed dog vacation
We stayed with the Müllers during the heatwave, which was excellent as their property is mostly shady. The huge terrace is perfect for relaxing. The living room and the two bedrooms were very well-equipped, making us feel at home. Our dog also felt at home right away and could roam freely on the property. There are a few restaurants in the village, and 1-2 of them are recommendable. If you want to leave the car behind, there are plenty of hiking opportunities, even right near the house, and the bus connection to Ilmenau or Schmiedefeld is exemplary. Unfortunately, the train only runs on weekends and the grocery store is no longer there, which we found very unfortunate. What's missing? Of course, the landlord family Müller was very hospitable, always in good spirits, and concerned about our well-being. Thanks again for the nice time, even though it was too short!
