This charming, cosy former farmhouse is more than 100 years old and has a living area of approx. 100 sqm. It is located in the middle of the forest, in a completely secluded area with a 2000 sqm large, well-kept meadow. The house is 3 km from Lake Velen, where the boat is also located and can be used freely by the house guests. Here you can also fish for free. Garden furniture and deckchairs with cushions are abundantly available. Bicycles of all sizes (1 of which has a child seat) are available free of charge. There are many possibilities for excursions in the near and far surroundings (Karlsborg - fortress, Tiveden nature reserve park with a wonderful bathing beach "Vitsand", Skara-Sommarland, along the Göta canal there are many cafes and barbecue stations) as well as culturally there is a lot on offer. Many secluded sandy beaches round off the holiday. Everywhere you see a blue sign with a swimmer you can swim at the sandy beach. In the house you will find brochures so that you can decide on excursions at short notice. Places like Mariestad, Hjo, Askersund, Forsvik with a handicraft museum, or Örebro offer sights and a variety of cafes and restaurants. Läckö Castle and Hällekis-Säteri with its small botanical garden are well worth a visit, and the drive to both is an experience in itself. There is an 18-hole golf course by a lake nearby, in the Töreboda area. With restaurant, view of golf course or lake! In Sätra there is a fitness studio with lots of equipment, two whirlpools outside with a view of the Viken, of course with warm water, sauna, also massages are offered.
There are plenty of natural mushrooms (chanterelles, porcini mushrooms, etc.) and berries (blueberries, cranberries, etc.) in the immediate vicinity.

The house is rented from mid-May to late September, every day of your choice. (Must be a Saturday). The price is uniformly ? 70,00 / date 2013 ? 80,00 / day from 2014 Arrival is possible from 15:00 on all days. The departure should be until 10:00.
