Rental with beautiful charm and perfect location

Very beautiful house located in a quiet area in a secure estate. The interior is very neat, well arranged, and contains everything needed for a successful stay. The location is perfect, near the magnificent beaches of Palombaggia, Santa Giulia, etc. A small grocery store is a 5-minute walk away. Typical and very good restaurants are a 5-minute drive away. Activities such as paddleboarding, diving, windsurfing can be carried out in the camping site located right next door and within walking distance. The owners are very nice, approachable, and make sure that your stay goes well. They speak German and English fluently and have a good knowledge of French. In summary, I highly recommend this property without hesitation and will gladly come back.

To feel good

The house and the property are in good, well-maintained condition, everything you need is also available. Wonderful to only hear the birds at breakfast. We were hiking, not swimming, in Corsica (May) and from this "base camp" we made daily very beautiful tours - from sea level to the area with an alpine character - we should have seen so many imaginative rock formations (Tafosi). Are there any questions, the Nopper family reliably, quickly, comprehensively and friendly provides the necessary/desired answers - very likeable landlords.

Holiday home in nature conservation

Very nice holiday home with everything you need for your holiday.
Walking distance to the beach and to the complex of la Chiappa, where you can use the pool for free and also lie on the beach if you want to have a lazy day. The walk from la Chiappa along the steep shore to Plage Tahiti is highly recommended. It doesn't get any better than this
We had a really great holiday and the holiday homes on this headland are all very individual with large plots and very exclusive locations. The Nopper family is super nice and always has an ear for any questions.
You can relax in the evenings on the beautiful terrace or in the garden. What you should never do anywhere on the island is feed wild boars. They are relatively tame, but you don't want them at the dinner table or on the beach
I can only highly recommend this house.
We will be happy to come back.

Wonderful holiday home

We stayed in this holiday home in Porto Vecchio for the first time in 2016. It is very large and comfortably furnished in a modern style, has a very nice terrace and is situated on a slope in a private area to which not everyone has access, only the people who live there. It is very quiet there and you can reach one of the beautiful beaches in Corsica very quickly. Shopping facilities are also within easy reach. And because we were so thrilled (our dog too!) we went again in summer 2018. We can recommend this house without reservation! Thank you, dear Nopper family!

We spent a wonderful vacation here in October. Very nice landlords! The house is beautifully furnished and everything is clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. The residential area is absolutely quiet, perfect for relaxation. We enjoyed excursions into the beautiful mountain world of Corsica and the magnificent beaches in the area with turquoise water like in the Caribbean. We would love to vacation here again anytime. Familienurlaub

The accommodation was well suited for us (family with 3 children). It is located 15 minutes from Porto Vecchio on a secluded peninsula. Visiting the naturalist camp is a matter of taste, but for us, it was rewarding as it is well-maintained in beautiful surroundings. Some very beautiful beaches are nearby. The house itself is very well equipped and beautifully furnished as described, leaving nothing to be desired. The contact with the landlords was pleasant and straightforward. Relaxing holiday in a well-maintained holiday home

We stayed in this house for 3 weeks in August 2017. Everything was clean and tidy. The accommodation offers plenty of space for a family with 2-3 children and is excellently equipped. The house has Wi-Fi and a TV with German channels. Unfortunately, we were bothered a lot by mosquitoes despite having mosquito nets on every window. If you visit by car, there are plenty of activities to do nearby. We went hiking in the mountains several times, we really liked the beautiful Palombaggia beach, and there are good parking options there. Bonifacio and Porto-Vecchio are highly recommended. A very beautiful and relaxing vacation! The German hosts are very friendly, dedicated, and helpful.

Relaxing vacation

Contact and key handover were exemplary. The holiday home is superbly furnished, clean, and located in a quiet, well-kept settlement, perfect for relaxing. We could get fresh breakfast pastries at the camping supermarket of La Chiappa, partly still warm, because the holiday home includes two season tickets for the camping club with sauna, supermarket, and well-kept beach. The beautiful beaches in the area are easily accessible by car. We would go on vacation there again immediately.

great vacation rental

The well-kept holiday home is located a few minutes southeast of Porto Vecchio in a quiet holiday home settlement. The house has a fully equipped kitchen. In the evenings, you can sit comfortably on the terrace and enjoy the tranquility. Beautiful beaches are reachable within a few minutes by car or on foot. We took a great trip to the pools, which was one of the many recommendations from the owners' excursion folder. The holiday home also has a modern washing machine and clothes rack, which delighted us.
The personal contact with the owners was impeccable and helpful.
I can absolutely recommend the holiday home.

Schönes, geräumiges Ferienhaus

At short notice, we decided to visit Corsica again and were happy about how quickly it worked out with the Nopper family. We really liked the holiday home, it is comfortably furnished and great - the kitchen has everything you need. Everything was also very clean. We both stayed in the bedroom with the double bed. The second bedroom, with the bunk bed, is more suited for families with children. The house is located in a quiet holiday home settlement, nestled in a beautiful landscape. You don't necessarily have to drive far to go shopping. For example, on the way back from the Palombaggia Superstand, you can make a detour to a small Spar supermarket, which has delicious meat, better than at Leclerc or Geant. We are definitely determined to visit Corsica and this lovely accommodation again soon.

Very nice holiday home with excellently equipped kitchen

The holiday home offers a lot of space with a very rich equipment.
You can tell that the owners are sometimes there themselves. So they also leave everything to the guests.
Since we love hiking, we always enjoyed the hike to Tahiti Beach. Occasionally we also encountered goats here. The beach is by far not as crowded as Palombaggia.
We also enjoyed using the services of La Chiappa and rented canoes and stand-up paddleboards there. We found the connection to the facility very pleasant. The contact with the landlords was excellent and very enjoyable. Overall, we felt that we got a lot for our money.

ruhiges Ferienhaus

The house is located very quietly and is very spacious. The equipment of the house leaves nothing to be desired. I especially liked the large shower. The contact with the landlords was always friendly and courteous. From the balcony, you even have a view of the sea and you can quickly reach the Fkk Club La Chiappa, where there are shopping facilities, a pool, sauna, and a restaurant. For people who are not into FKK, I recommend the drive (approx. 10 minutes by car) to Palombaggia, probably one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Europe! Would love to come back next year!

A very beautiful and relaxing holiday for the whole family.

I was at the house with my family in early May 2017. When we arrived, everything was clean and tidy. The accommodation offers a lot of space and is excellently equipped. Relaxing holiday in the countryside

My husband and I spent a very nice week in Corsica last week. The house was in immaculate condition, well-equipped, and we felt very comfortable all around. We really enjoyed the quiet location on the peninsula, surrounded by untouched nature. We will definitely come back again!

Standing outside in front of the closed front door, the smell of mold wafts out of the house towards you.

The whole house smells of mold. Despite airing it out 24 hours a day, the odor doesn't dissipate even after two weeks. Health hazard? Door frames at floor level in the basement/bedroom show color changes. Is there moisture in the subfloor? Because when asked what had happened in the house, "water damage" is ruled out, and the odor is explained by lack of ventilation in winter. In the attached neighboring house, THERE IS NO SMELL OF MOLD OR MUSTINESS! We were able to personally see for ourselves.
"Musty" could be tolerated temporarily, but a permanent mold odor is burdensome.
Shortly before arrival:
Unfriendly phone calls: In the listing, WiFi is clearly advertised. 40 hours before moving in, we are informed via email that we would probably have to do without internet for the first few days. We emphasize that the internet is very important to us. We were advised to 1: withdraw from the contract because 2: the entire rent had already been reimbursed to us, and 3: we were wished good luck in finding a new apartment. Only after mentioning involvement of a lawyer, they backtracked, and we are "allowed" to arrive!!!
Arrival:
Good directions, but the house is located very far (10 km) from a roundabout at the end of a dead-end road. QUIET!
For trips, no matter where, one has to take the route. The route is not attractive. Location:
Shady, overgrown plot, neglected. Sun until 2 pm on the main terrace, NO VIEW AND ORIENTATION! ONLY trees, shrubs, and agaves. The exterior photos show 2 houses built together. You inhabit the part with the right terrace.
Facilities:
everything available, kitchen fully equipped. Mattresses or bedding in the 2nd bedroom emit a sweaty smell. Large bathroom, 1 separate toilet downstairs, 1 separate upstairs. Large shower. Mosquito nets almost everywhere. Fireplace usable. WA with 1200 spin cycles, good water pressure and hot water. Safety measures very fragile! 2 lounge chairs provided cozyly.

Idealer Familienurlaub

Beautifully furnished house, well-equipped (lots of dishes). In the evenings, sitting on the terrace and watching the geckos on the house wall was especially exciting for the children. As the off-season had begun, the entire complex was absolutely quiet.
Positive was the very good directions to the house and to several excursion destinations.
It's a shame that the two weeks went by so quickly.

Beware of strong basement mustiness.

Unfortunately, I have to warn every tenant about this beautiful house. We spent one night there for a price of 1200.00 EUR. With the veranda door left open, the next day we felt almost poisoned by the strong damp basement odor (mold?). The landlords, who promised to find a solution if we moved out, only offered us a 10% discount and deducted cleaning costs. The house is set up very nicely, but we couldn't stay there under those conditions as it would have been unhealthy.

Beautiful location, close to the sea in a peaceful area :)

Very nice holiday home with everything you need.
Plenty of space for the family with several children, bedrooms in the basement (great when it's hot outside) and living area on the upper floor.
Parking spots in the shade prevent cars from heating up.
Quiet location, we didn't notice anything from the neighbors and the sea is within walking distance.
But for the next sandy beach, it's better to take the car, especially with kids in tow ;)

We have just been to the very nice holiday home for the 3rd time. There was no smell of cellar or mold there. Presumably, the bad reviewers are older people who - as is generally known - sometimes suffer from sensory disorders. We have happily booked another stay for this autumn.

The house is located amidst a park surrounded by trees and bushes. However, shopping options in the fall are only accessible by car, as the nearby camping sites with their stores are already closed. Nevertheless, the location is very idyllic, and in bad weather, there is a Swedish stove that creates a cozy atmosphere.

Tadelloses Ferienhaus

The spacious rooms are sensibly divided, i.e., the bedrooms on the ground floor remain pleasantly cool even in the heated August, also because of the shutters. Restful sleep in a quiet location! Large shower, double washbasin, washing machine, separate toilet, wide hallway with storage options complete the ground floor. The bedrooms have access to a terrace with seating/lounging area and a comfortable gas grill. The complete equipment continues on the upper floor. The kitchen is adjacent to the dining area; seating/fireplace/TV corner connect the large room. A wide sliding door leads to the terrace, where up to three insect-hunting geckos visit the walls and ceiling in the evening. Fast, stable Wi-Fi is worth mentioning, as well as the shady parking for two cars at the house. The most beautiful sandy beach bay (Plage Tahiti) can be reached after about a 30-minute walk. After 15-20 minutes, you can reach the beach, pools, etc. of the nudist resort La Chiappa.
The Nopper family, the landlords, have put together a detailed guest folder with excursion tips, etc., and are exemplary in helping to solve problems as quickly as possible.
After an unforgettable holiday, we can fully recommend this holiday home.

beautifully located charming holiday home

We felt very comfortable in the house. It had all the amenities, even a washing machine, which was very pleasant. The shower was very large, making it a family shower. The kitchen had everything we needed. We could cook well. Unfortunately, you couldn't walk to the beach from there. The surrounding beaches were very charming. We tried the hiking trails described in the guest folder. The drive to the rock pools was great, and we did it several times.

Great holiday apartment in the south of Corsica.

After knowing this holiday apartment from previous stays, we decided without hesitation to return after 9 years of abstinence from Corsica, and rightly so. The apartment is superbly equipped, wonderfully located, and serves as a base for so many activities one can do in southern Corsica. And it definitely won't be the last time! Always a pleasure to come back, the house is highly recommended without reservation!

Ein schöner Urlaub

The house is very well-maintained and clean, all electrical appliances worked well, and it would be great if everyone kept the grill clean too. The house is located very quietly in the middle of the complex, and the bathing beach can be reached by bike in 5 minutes. There is a campsite and shopping opportunities. The beach is very well-kept, and there is also a small sauna right on the beach, something quite different, and of course, there is a restaurant where you can eat well.

Beautiful holiday in a quiet location in Corsica - highly recommended

My wife and I, along with two teenagers, spent three wonderful holiday weeks at the Nopper family's house. We felt comfortable from the first day. Everything was very clean. The administration and key handover were very uncomplicated and smooth. The kitchen was fully equipped and functional. The WiFi was fast and stable. German television programs were also available. The furnishings were attractive. The expansive living area and the terrace with beautiful views were impressive. In the protected settlement on the hill with large plots, there was a lot of distance to the other residents and accordingly a very quiet location. We were not bothered by the lack of direct access to the beach - various beach sections could be easily reached on foot or by car in a very short drive. Therefore, we wholeheartedly recommend the house.

Ruhiger Aufenthalt

If you are looking for tranquility, this house is the right place. Secluded location and absolute peace. Except for the wild boars at night, you hear nothing. You need a car, but within 10-20 minutes, you can reach the most beautiful beaches. Near the house, there is a small bathing spot in the rocks, perfect for snorkeling. Everything necessary is available in the house, and there is also plenty of space. We can recommend the house.

Accommodation with a high recreational value

We felt very comfortable. The house and property are well-maintained, and we also enjoyed the peace in the middle of the extensive grounds. As a starting point for exploring the entire island, it is a bit too far out, but we knew that beforehand. Ultimately, the price in the pre-season was decisive, and we have not regretted it for a minute. We have gotten to know Fam. Nopper as good hosts and wish them satisfied guests in the future.

Summer vacation

We were warmly welcomed by the concierge. The house is spacious and clean, equipped with everything it needs. The sea is within easy walking distance. A bit further away (about 30 minutes on foot) is the beautiful Tahiti Bay. Shopping can be done directly at the adjacent campsite, on the way back from the sea, or by car in Porto Vecchio. We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation and can only recommend the house.

Autumn break

We were five in the autumn holidays at the Nopper family's house. The house is as described. Some of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica are reachable within a short drive. I have been going to Corsica on holiday for 25 years, the location of the house is beautiful and peaceful. We did not notice any defects and everyone slept well. I can recommend this holiday home.
