wonderfully renovated holiday home

ideally suited for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Beautiful, rather rural and not overcrowded by tourists, excellent starting point for exploring Perigord and Limousin. Good possibilities for bicycle tours (rather low traffic density) or hikes. Very nice and helpful landlords.

Pure peace and relaxation!

The description and the pictures are spot on! Beautiful quiet spot in France. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. A lot of work went into the house! Superb restoration! Be sure to bring binoculars to look at the stars! Very friendly landlords with lots of tips for excursions and good restaurants! We would come back at any time!

Dreamlike holiday apartment exactly as shown in the pictures with a wonderful garden, ideal for relaxation and recreation. We didn't miss anything and the region is also very beautiful. Hikes are easily possible from the apartment. We would love to come back!

After a week in Lacanau-Ocean in a vacation home with a well-maintained garden and beautiful green lawn, we considered making a stopover on our way back in the Dordogne region. By chance, we came across the Chablat vacation home on the internet... approximately 69 square meters of pure nature! Booked for 9 days and went there... what a pleasant surprise... a gem amidst the sea of offerings and promises regarding vacation homes. We immediately had the feeling of WOW with our two dogs... just like in the pictures... even better, much much better.... Several times a day I praised and admired the landlord in my thoughts for "his baby"... With great consistency, he integrated natural materials with love into the holiday home... He has given an old ruin a soul again... Limestone, wood, and old stones connected to something very precious. The air in the house, the layout of the rooms, the many special features in each room, the kitchen corner, the bathroom...the storage room with the washing machine...everything simply beautiful, naturally in the truest sense of the word. We felt so good during this time in this "natural" house that we want to enjoy our vacation there for three full weeks in 2017. with our two small miniature schnauzers...without sprinklers, without street lighting designed to illuminate an entire football field...without exterior lighting, equipped with a camping lamp, we let the incredibly beautiful starry sky affect us...with good food sometimes self-prepared and sometimes from the super great weekly market (every Wednesday) such as Paella...with a slurpy red wine or even a beer (Lidl and Aldi are nearby as well as a great butcher near Aldi)
that's vacation....recharge, enjoy, enjoy, enjoy....focus on the essentials....we felt like GOD IN FRANCE in this holiday home, in this environment and with this landlord...and we are already looking forward to August/September 2017.

Individual vacation in a beautiful holiday home

The beautiful holiday home has been lovingly restored and immediately invites you to stay, relax and dream. It is located in a very beautiful environment where you can go hiking, cycling and explore nature. Shops such as a bakery and supermarkets are quickly accessible. The landlord was always very accommodating regarding questions about excursions, local flea markets, etc.
All in all - a completely beautiful vacation and highly recommended!
My husband and I will gladly go back to Chablat.

Nach einer Woche Lacarnau-Ocean in einem FeHs mit super gepflegtem Garten mit schönem grünen rasen haben wir überlegt auf der Rückreise in der Dordogne einen Zwischenstopp zu machen….dabei sind wir per Zufall per Internet auf das FeHs Chablat gestoßen….ca 69 qm pur Natur !!! für 9 Tage gebucht und hin….was für eine angenehme Überraschung….ein Kleinod in dem Wust von Angeboten und Versprechungen in Sachen FeHs. Wir hatten mit unseren beiden Hunden sofort das Gefühl von WAU…so wie auf den Bildern…noch besser, noch viel viel besser….jeden Tag mehrfach habe ich in Gedanken den Vermieter für „sein Baby“ gelobt und bewundert…sehr konsequent hat mit Liebe natürliche Materialien in das FeHs integriert…Er hat einer alten Ruine wieder eine Seele gegeben…Kalksandstein, Holz und alte Steine verbunden zu etwas ganz kostbaren. Die Luft im Haus, die Aufteilung der Räume, die vielen vielen Besonderheiten in jedem Raum, die Küchenecke , das Badezimmer…der Abstellraum mit Waschmaschine….alles einfach wunderschön, natürlich im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes… Wir haben uns in dieser Zeit so gut gefühlt in diesem „natürlichen“ Haus dass wir 2017 drei volle Wochen dort unseren Urlaub genießen wollen….mit unseren zwei kleinen Zwergschnauzern…ohne Rasensprenger ohne Straßenbeleuchtung, die ausgelegt ist ein ganzes Fussballfeld auszuleuchten….ohne Außenbeleuchtung mit einer Campinglampe ausgerüstet haben wir den unglaublich wunderschönen Sternenhimmel auf uns wirken lassen…mit gutem Essen mal selbst zubereitet und mal vom super tollen Wochenmarkt (jeden Mittwoch) z.B. Paellia …mit einem schlürfigem Rotwein oder auch mal ein Bier (Lidl und Aldi sind in der Nähe sowei ein super Metzger in der Nähe von Aldi) das ist Urlaub….auftanken, genießen, genießen, geniießn….sich auf das wesentliche besinnen….wir haben uns in diesem FeHs, in dieser Umgebung und bei diesem Vermieter gefühlt wie GOTT in FRANKREICH...und wir freuen uns schon ganz dolle auf Aug./Sept. 2017
