Family friendly holiday home

We have regularly spent our holidays in this beautiful house for several years. The location below the castle ruins is uniquely beautiful. Our children love the historical ambience and like to explore the spacious grounds (smaller children should not go exploring unsupervised, however, as the rocks in the lower part of the property are not secured).
Although we have been here many times, we find excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity in any weather (wild animal park, caves, swimming, springs, castles ...), which are also entertaining for the children.
The landlords are very helpful and the house is well equipped. We will be happy to come back!

Our dream house

We discovered this fantastic house by chance in 2006. A beautiful old house, but totally modern inside. With a large, fenced plot, the house is ideal for a holiday with a dog. In the following years we spent our summer holidays in the house irregularly at first, but the last three years regularly. A holiday to relax, but also to explore the surroundings. Franconian Switzerland is on the doorstep, but cities like Nuremberg, Bamberg and Bayreuth are also within easy reach by car
In the evenings we often sit in front of the house and enjoy the fantastic view into the valley, the directly adjacent castle ruins give the whole thing a special flair.
The only downer is that the internet reception is very poor
If you can live with that, the house is perfect for you.
