quietly located holiday home in a very beautiful place
The holiday home settlement is located just outside Balazuc. All the houses have their own courtyard. You don't get to see very much of the others. The landscape is beautiful. The house was well equipped.
recommend for: holiday with children, holiday with pet, cultural and sightseeing holiday

We were there in June and we really liked it. We felt very welcome and had a wonderful time. If Ardèche, then definitely FRIGOULET again.

simple, but inexpensive and almost fully equipped
rather simple, but overall well and partially lovingly furnished. You can tell that the facility is old, but everything worked for us.
In the units, everything important was available, although mostly rather simple and older (especially the cutlery could use a renewal). Good especially the large fridge-freezer combination, the beds/mattresses were okay for us. The TV has three channels.
However, the LACK OF A DISHWASHER really annoyed us! When we asked, we were told that only the larger units are equipped with it...
Almost all units are in semi-detached houses or duplexes (then possibly many stairs or audible neighbors).
The facility offers a nice pool, two swings, a slide, and a somewhat overgrown garden. It is heavily frequented by dog owners, which can be annoying depending on their training/behavior (especially with children).
Coordination and processing with the landlords went smoothly (except for the missing dishwasher, which was actually confirmed to us before booking, but the good weather and beautiful landscape somewhat appeased us).
recommend for: holiday with children, holiday with pet
Vicinity of the holiday home: Frigoulet liegt am Ende einer Sackgasse und ist sehr ruhig. Gelegentlich Hundelärm aus den umliegenden Wohnhäusern.
free time activities: Ardeche bietet viel, von Frigoulet aus ist vieles gut erreichbar, aber leider nur sehr wenig fußläufig. Ohne Fahrrad oder Auto gibt es eigentlich nur Balazuc, je nach Mobilität 800m auf direktem Wanderweg oder auf der Zugangsstraße mind. 1 km entfernt. Bis zum Fluß sind es über Straßen knapp 1,5km.
shopping facilities: nächste Bar mit Brotverkauf ca. 1 km entfernt, sonst gibt es in Balazuc noch zwei drei Bars / Bistros (je nach Saisonzeit geschlossen)
in Pradons kleinerer Supermarkt, in Ruoms viele Läden und großer Supermarkt, in Aubenas alle Arten von Geschäften,
