Welcome to Duinhuis26, in the beautiful village of Egmond aan Zee.
The summer house is located directly on Dunen reservat and about 400 meters from the beach and the cozy village of Egmond aan zee.
With many terraces, very good and delicious restaurants and inviting shops.
A modern and cozy up2date summer house, for 1 to 4 persons with terrace. For the children there is a playground directly behind the summer house.
Distribution of the summerhouse:
- Living room with dining area, comfortable bench and TV.
- The built-in kitchen is comfortably equipped with hob, fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee maker (senseo).
- Bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and mirror.
- 1st bedroom with two separate beds.
- 2nd bedroom with a double bed.

Egmond aan Zee is a village in the middle of dunes and located directly on the sea. Egmond aan Zee is a paradise for sun worshipers, hikers and cyclists.
Those who once met Egmond will return again and again. In the former fishing village with its welcoming and cozy atmosphere there is enough for young and old to do. The village invites to stroll along the shops and terraces, over the promenade and to the lighthouse.
Even in high season, the tranquility and silence of the dunes is never far away and in all seasons you can enjoy a day at the beach. Egmond aan Zee is known for its easily accessible beach, and is certainly one of the most beautiful beaches in the Netherlands and forms a natural part of the village. The air is pure and the sun shines often!

Everything is perfect!
Small, sweet, very quietly located row holiday house on the premises of the landlords with its own entrance. Excellent and nice contact for any questions, whether by email or in person. Everything you need in the house and top clean. Sea and town center can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. The dune landscape is right next door.

Very nice family vacation
We had a very nice time in the small row house. The landlady is unobtrusive and very friendly! Fresh bed linen and towels were provided. After a week's stay, we received fresh towels. The house is bright and friendly furnished. The essentials are available. Although there was no door in the small connecting room of the children (8 and 12 years), it worked surprisingly well. The children were usually at the playground after the beach, which is located in the courtyard of the houses. There were other German children there as well, so they quickly made friends. This made it very relaxing for us parents. On the small terrace, there are no longer the white camping chairs seen in the pictures, but more inviting ones that we happily used for dinner. We especially liked the proximity to the beach and the shopping street. Adjacent to the holiday home, you can easily access the extensive dune area. The proximity to Alkmaar and Amsterdam is perfect if you want to experience more than just the beach. We are happy to recommend the holiday home!

Recommended
I stayed at DuinHuis26 for a week as a single person to relax. The summer house offers everything you need. The furnishings are tasteful, bright, friendly and clean. The equipment is completely ok, everything is there. Space-wise, I think it's perfect for 1-2 people, with children it might be a bit cramped. If the weather is good, you will spend your time at the beach or out and about anyway. The location of the Duinhuis is ideal, everything is within walking distance. I find the price in the high season a bit high, but that's probably usual. Conclusion: Duinhuis26 is recommendable.

Kleines Sommerhaus
Das kleine Sommerhaus liegt direkt hinter dem Haus der Vermieter. Sehr nette Familie. Das Haus ist, ohne es schlecht reden zu wollen, ausreichend gewesen. Wir waren zu dritt da und ich glaube mit 4 personen wäre es schon ziemlich eng. Es fehlten im Bad Haken, um Handtücher hin zu hängen. Ein paar Regale wären auch nicht schlecht gewesen. Das Haus hat keine Schränke um seine Kleidung aus dem Koffer zu packen. Lediglich eine Kleiderstange und eine kleine komode schmückten das Schlafzimmer. Das sogenannte Kinderzimmer ist der Vorflur vom Schlafzimmer und direkt hinter der Treppe. Heisst wenn man unten Fernseh schaut, bekommt man das oben mit und man kann sich nur leise unterhalten. Die Küchenausstattung ist für vier personen. Es sind zum Kochen notwendige Pfannen und Töpfe da. Das Haus ist soweit sauber gewesen bis auf den verkalkten Wasserkocher, die Kaffeepadmaschine (war voller kaffeeschmand) und den Mikrowellenofen/grill. Es gibt keine Spülmaschine und keine Waschmaschine (das wussten wir aber).
Für uns war es für eine Woche ausreichend. Würden aber nicht nochmal buchen, weil wir anderen standard gewohnt sind. Wir denken aber für 2 Personen ist es optimal.

Vielen Dank für Ihre Wertschätzung. Ich arbeitete an einer Reihe von Bereichen zur Verbesserung. Wir wohnten auch ein paar Monate im Sommerhaus mit 2 Kindern, wir hatten keine Probleme damit. aber immer gut, die Verbesserungspunkte von jemand anderem zu hören !!!
