Description
Welcome to our Strandhus. A "hyggeliges" wooden house in Danish style awaits you. The cosy living/dining room is connected to the open, fully equipped kitchen. On cooler days, the wood-burning stove provides cosy warmth. All living rooms and bedrooms are equipped with electric radiators. There are three bedrooms with two beds each (double bed, two single beds, bunk bed). The six beds offer space for a maximum of five adults and one child. In the functionally equipped shower room there is a washing machine, a towel warmer and a fan heater. The outdoor area invites you to linger with a beautiful partially covered terrace with seating furniture, deck chairs and a barbecue fireplace.

Location and surroundings of object
The Flensburg Fjord, a Baltic Sea fjord about 40 kilometres long, is located in the far northeast of Schleswig-Holstein and is an attractive, family-friendly holiday region. The hilly coastal landscape, extensive beaches and the mild stimulating climate of the Baltic Sea are the best prerequisites for a relaxing holiday.
The Holnis peninsula is the northernmost peninsula on the German Baltic Sea coast and juts into the Flensburg Fjord. Holnis is home to a large nature reserve, which can be explored on foot or by bicycle along idyllic and well-signposted hiking trails. The view over the Baltic Sea to Denmark is always wonderful. Shallow beaches sloping into the Baltic Sea also make this region ideal for a holiday with children.
Our Strandhus is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, only 150 metres from the more than two-kilometre-long spa beach.
There is a beach chair rental in the immediate vicinity on the beach. A surfing and kitesurfing school, which also offers stand-up paddling courses, is about 400 m away. Along the beach promenade you will find a restaurant, café and kiosk.
Other leisure facilities in the vicinity are the Förde Golf Club (also for guest golfers) and the Fördeland Therme adventure pool
You should definitely plan a visit to the historic towns of Glücksburg and Flensburg and a trip on an excursion steamer on the Fjord.
The city of Schleswig with its Gottorf Castle State Museum and the nearby Viking Museum Haithabu (UNESCO World Heritage!) can be reached in about 30 minutes by car.

A week dedicated to the family
As for the weather, we had everything from sun to rain with lots of wind. Thanks to the great accommodation, we always felt at home. The furnishings are good and the fireplace creates a beautiful and romantic atmosphere.
The terrace invited us to relax.
The surroundings are super relaxing.
The beaches are wonderful and not so crowded.
We had a few playground options in the area for our youngsters.
The driveway to the holiday home is not so easy to see, but that's not the fault of the house or the landlords ;)
A mosquito screen on the windows would be another great and useful thing to complete this holiday home.
Furthermore, it was great to have a nice barbecue with cast iron grill in the garden.

Wonderful holiday-we will be back
Great house in great surroundings. Everything exactly as described. Very clean, lovingly and very well equipped. Simply to feel good. We enjoyed the 3 weeks very much and did a lot. The weather was great and swimming in the Baltic Sea was wonderful. The surrounding area offers many possibilities for excursions. We will be very happy to come back.

Pure relaxation
A lovely holiday home about 150 m from the sea. The furnishings were really great. The beds were great. We are holiday home experienced and had some things with us that we could put away right away. The house is lovingly furnished and well maintained. Since we arrived in the evening, the key was deposited in a safe for us. A great idea. A little tip: always put the key there, then there is no danger of losing it. You only have to remember one number. The cottage is in a quiet location, ideal for relaxation and switching off. We'll be back any time!

Ein herrliches Ferienhaus in wunderschöner Lage, das von der ersten Minute entspannte Urlaubsstimmung ausstrahlte. Wir haben uns mit 5 Personen sehr wohl gefühlt und die gemütliche, liebevolle Einrichtung, die Nähe zum Meer sowie die aufmerksame Betreuung vor Ort (wir kamen früher als geplant an, die Schlüsselübergabe war kein Problem) sehr genossen. Landschaftlich schöne Spaziergänge am Meer, das flache Wasser und die vielen Spielmöglichkeiten am Strand für Kinder (auch im Haus gab es einen Kescher, Sandspielsachen und viele Kinderücher) rundeten den Familienurlaub ab. Wir Erwachsene genossen den Grill bei Sonnenschein im Garten und den Kamin bei Regenwetter im muggeligen Wohnzimmer. Das leckere fußläufige Café bot morgens frische Brötchen an - ein perfekter Start in den Urlaubstag im Strandhus 7.
Wir kommen gerne wieder!

A pretty little holiday home right by the sea. Very good equipment, lovingly furnished and well maintained. Fantastic location, just a few steps to the beach promenade and the Baltic Sea. Very nice support. Quiet location, perfect for relaxation and switching off. Anytime again!

Das Haus ist sauber, die Sofas und Betten bequem, der Ofen bollerte, die Einrichtung liebevoll gestaltet: wir fühlten uns rundum wohl. Ausflug nach Flensburg, Spaziergänge am Strand und zur Nordspitze Holnis... viele Möglichkeiten, sich draußen zu bewegen.

A dream destination to relax
The house and the location are excellent. Due to the beautifully landscaped garden, you don't have the feeling of still having neighbours and the house is also a lot of fun. A large living room with kitchen and fireplace create a holiday atmosphere. The beds are great (I usually have problems with this in holiday homes) and there is enough but not too much space. The beach, which is less than a 3-minute walk away, is well-maintained and offers several playgrounds for the little ones. It's worth exploring the surrounding area by bike or on foot. We will definitely be back.

Beach holidays, hiking and cycling tours
We spent a wonderful holiday in the holiday home in September. The keys were handed over directly at the house. We also received many tips for excursions. There was a very lovingly arranged selection of drinks and some sweets on the table as a welcome. We found this very attentive. With our bicycles we made bigger tours every day. A beautiful place - we will definitely be back!
