Description
The house is not suitable for families with very small children or people with mobility impairments. The stairs to the sleeping areas are in some parts quite steep.
Available for your use: a covered outdoor pool in the summer season, garden furniture, sun loungers, a grill, a carport, as well as parking space for cars on the property.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home "Haus Weinberg" is idyllically situated in the middle of a wine-growing area, surrounded by vines and a small acacia grove. In clear weather, you have a great view of Lake Balaton from the balcony.
The house is an ideal starting point for excursions. For example to the adventure pool in Zalakaros, the nature reserve "Kis Balaton" (small Balaton) or the spa town of Hévíz. Even the capital Budapest can be reached in about 90 minutes via the motorway and is a destination worth seeing as a day trip.
The immediate surroundings are ideal for long walks. The neighbouring village of Balatonberény can be reached by an unpaved road for experienced walkers.
The lido in Balatonberény can be reached on foot in approx. 40 minutes or by car in 10 minutes!
There are several good restaurants within a radius of about 3 to 5 kilometres in the immediate vicinity. There are also plenty of shopping facilities, such as the Tesco supermarket in Marcali or smaller shops in the surrounding villages. The next larger town is Keszthely, which can be reached in about 20 minutes by car. Here there is a pedestrian zone worth seeing with small shops and a small harbour on Lake Balaton.

For guests arriving with pets, up to two animals are included in the rental price. For each additional pet, we charge €50 per week. A maximum of four pets in total is allowed. If we incur extraordinary cleaning expenses due to pet hair, especially on upholstered furniture, beds, and blankets, we will offset these additional costs separately against the deposit.
2. On the current occasion, we feel obliged to point out the following. The house is located, as already described, in a wine-growing area. Here, from around mid-July to around the end of August, there may be an unusual noise disturbance in the area. The winegrowers use noise sources to drive away the birds in order to protect the grapes. Depending on the season and weather, the specified period may vary.

Beautiful holiday house in the vineyards.
We can recommend the holiday home to everyone, it is located in the middle of the vineyards and offers wonderful peace and quiet. The holiday home is perfectly equipped and we lacked nothing. We enjoyed the holiday home with three people and two dogs, perfect for dogs as the property is completely fenced. A highlight is the covered pool, which we used several times. Excursion destinations can be reached in a few minutes by car.

House on the Vineyard
Hello,
we were with 6 adults and a dog in the house in May 2022.
I must say we had a wonderful time. We didn't lack for anything. From the game collection to the towels, everything was sufficiently provided.
The on-site service (caretaker) must also be praised.
The location is perfect to finally switch off and immerse yourself in nature. Hiking, cycling or going to the lake, no problem from the house.
The environmental aspect is not neglected either.
I say thank you to the Schäfer family.

A top equipped house
If you are looking for solitude for togetherness, this is the destination. With a pool that is simply super. A relaxing house for our Corona time holiday.

.... Again and again with pleasure
We stayed at Haus Weinberg this year. We had a great time. The house and grounds are in a great location. We had two dogs with us, just great. The large pool is a great way to cool off. We didn't feel disturbed by the electric bird scare because of the grapes. We like to come back. Also a big thank you to Mr. Rosenberger for the last day of our holiday, despite the rain we had great conversations. It was very nice. We are already looking forward to 2021, when we will be back.

Perfect house for many people
The landlord has equipped the house with everything you could possibly need. Even in a group of 7 adults, a child, and a dog, we had enough space for everyone. The property is completely fenced, so we could let the dog and child run freely. Even the pool, the perfect way to cool off (!!), can be completely closed off so that no one can fall in. The weather in May is very pleasant, nice and warm and sunny, but not too hot. Even though you should have a car for most things, we will definitely come back. The surrounding towns offer a lot to see and very good food, Budapest was definitely worth a day trip. The journey from the Rhine-Main area was easily done by car. You drive continuously on the highway until a few kilometers before the house.
