Beautiful holiday home with a view

We rented this house as 2 friendly couples and a small, quiet dog. The location is almost isolated with a great view through the large windows. Very quiet, only a few hikers and few cars pass by. The house is well-equipped and very comfortable due to the underfloor heating. We could always reach Ms. Ruddigkeit by phone. We felt very comfortable and finally got to see something of Saxon Switzerland. We will definitely come back. Only the fact that the bridge to Bad Schandau is closed somewhat dampened the vacation joy. But there was ferry service starting from Krippen station for people to Bad Schandau. From there, we could use the public buses for free with the guest card. And don't forget, it's best to shop for the whole week at Edeka in Königstein. There is no store in Kleinhennersdorf.
We recommend this house further.

Time out with the grandchildren

We were all thrilled by the dreamy location and the very beautiful holiday home. Everything was clean. The equipment has everything you need. It was just lovely. We have already raved about it to friends and will gladly come back.

Great holiday home in a very quiet location

We randomly found the holiday home, as we were not familiar with the Saxon Switzerland. Already upon arrival, we were overwhelmed by the size and above all the fantastic secluded location of the house. It was very clean and has everything you need for a holiday, and nothing was broken. Due to the overhanging roof, you can even sit outside during a small rain shower in the summer. I always drank my second cup of coffee on the beautiful swing and enjoyed the heavenly peace and quiet. We will miss that very much. There are hiking trails from the house and you can also quickly drive to Bad Schandau for shopping. For us, this week was really relaxing, far away from any noise, we will come back. Highly recommended.

Beautiful vacation home

Great and tranquil vacation home in a superb location. Very nice landlords and excellent communication. Everything one needs is available. The house is clean and in a very quiet location. We had 2 disabled adults with us who got along very well. The house is adapted for disabled persons on the ground floor. In conclusion, a very beautiful area and everything one needs is there.

Warm, bright, beautiful!

We were guests in the autumn holidays 2021 end of October-first week of November. The holiday home is a bit out of the way in the village of Kleinhennersdorf, no main road, only residents driving by. We, that was grandma, mum and two kids (6 and 12) plus a small (not hairy) dog. We rented the whole house because we wanted to use the bathtub, which is upstairs. In terms of space, the basement would have been perfectly adequate for the 4 of us. The first impression was really great. Huge house, much bigger than originally expected. Incredibly warm due to the underfloor heating. You could feel the warmth on the floor. The bedrooms were pleasantly cool and not heated (but you can turn up the thermostat). In the basement there is everything your heart desires, the kitchen is well equipped, only the fridge downstairs has no ice compartment. If you like ice cream or frozen food, you either have to live off the food on your plate or rent the kitchen on the upper floor. The fridge there was not plugged in (an extension cable is still missing here - we helped ourselves out with the one from the hoover), but we took care of that before we went shopping, so that all frozen goods could go straight into the freezer. The living room is nice and bright and nice and big. The couch seemed a bit small at first, until we found out that you can pull it out. What is still missing here is a big cuddly blanket and a few cushions for the couch. The existing chair cushions are only of limited use for "lounging on the couch" and some people don't want to take their sleeping cushion onto the couch. There is a modern TV with which you can even watch Netflix, the TV also has an HDMI connection so that you can also connect your Chromecast and stream via your own device if you don't want to leave your Netflix account on the TV for your host. Great holiday!

Holidays also with wheelchair, relaxing and restful

As a wheelchair user, I cannot of course state that the place is also suitable for skiers. The area is in any case. However, the next larger grocery shop is not until Bad Schandau. Wheelchair users with a car will find excellent accommodation there, though.
There is always the possibility to contact the landlord, the house is excellent and the two ground floor bedrooms are wheelchair accessible the bathroom wheelchair friendly as well as the shower.
Holiday with pet is possible, unfortunately we could not bring our dog because he is already too old for longer walks.
All in all, an excellent holiday property!

Short holiday 10/2019 with our children and grandchildren

Beautiful, modern holiday home in an exposed location with a view of the Schrammsteine
Our daughter surprised us with this timely booking. And when we arrived in Kleinhennersdorf for the holidays, we were overwhelmed by the large holiday home and the location.
Sufficient space for 6 people. Lots of light in the house through the large windows. Modern furnishings. The hosts (Mrs and Mr Ruddigkeit) are very nice, attentive and helpful. Nothing is missing: 6 beds were made, towels everywhere; in the spacious kitchen all necessary kitchen utensils were available, so we didn't have to get anything.
When the weather is nice, you can make yourself comfortable around the house and enjoy the surroundings.
The ground floor is particularly suitable for people with limited mobility: wide passages, large bathroom with shower, usable with wheelchair. Great!
2 parking spaces on the property in front of the house. And a great, thoughtful option is pre-installed and will come: an E-pillar for electric cars!
We enjoyed the 6 days very much with our children. There is something for everyone in the immediate vicinity: easy or challenging hiking, cycling tours, excursions by car or bus, tours of the Elbe, trips to neighbouring countries and much more. A lot of information material is available in the holiday home. Children also get their money's worth: on the upper floor (again with a great view of the Schrammsteine) there is a small library in a cosy corner. On the ground floor there are numerous family games.

The entire ground floor is accessible, great view, wonderful fresh air.

One week is actually too short; as a wheelchair user, it is a bit cumbersome to get down to the valley or back up again if you don't have a car. Otherwise, this is an ideal place to relax, very clean, very tidy, and fantastic landlords. On the ground floor, there is a room with a double bed and 2 single beds for children. On the upper floor, there is a separate bathroom and more beds so that a total of 6 people can be accommodated without bumping into each other. Even with a wheelchair, there is sufficient space to move around. Especially next to the bed and the toilet, which is extremely important for many wheelchair users. The beds can be moved under with a patient lifter, and the height of the doors is completely sufficient even when the lifter is extended. Grab bars on the sides of the toilet bowls, a wheelchair-accessible shower, and the ground-level access through the entrance door, through the porch, and to the large living room complete the whole perfectly. My partner and I have already made another booking for next May. It is unbelievably beautiful there. And even if you're just sitting in a wheelchair by the window, shop window size, it's fascinating to watch the fog cover or reveal the mountains.
A new building with extremely great potential for romance.
It's best to discuss everything with the landlord over the phone beforehand and ask all the questions that will make a holiday in this house possible. The only slightly negative aspect is that the road to the house has not been completed yet and is currently just a gravel track.

All dreams came true

The vacation house had raised certain expectations for us beforehand through the great pictures. And we were not disappointed. The vacation house is a very special house in terms of its construction, which we found clean and tidy. We were impressed by the great architecture. It is well-equipped, the landlords are super nice, and fulfilled small requests promptly. Unbeatable there is the tranquility, the apartment is brilliant for wheelchair users with plenty of space in all rooms. It is cozy, so that it is also pleasant to stay there in bad weather.

Superschöner Kurzurlaub

That was a super nice, spontaneous short vacation in a holiday home built to the latest standards. The quiet location and the fantastic view are amazing. The landlords are so nice and helpful. Ferienhaus KLeinhennersdorf

Rented the vacation home in midsummer with the family and dog and were pleasantly surprised by the size, equipment, and leisure activities available to us. Modernly furnished, large, very bright, and cozy. Very friendly landlords. We found a wide range of information about leisure activities in the house and realized that one vacation is not enough to see all the worthwhile things. Upon arrival, we found freshly made beds, plenty of towels, and a very well-maintained house. The panoramic view allowed us to relax completely, a cozy terrace invites for barbecue and wine-drinking at sunset. All in all, a lovely vacation.
