The "Pfarrhaus" is a house built in peasant style around 1850. It is a house full of history and stories from the time when the place was only accessible from the lake. Today, the house is newly renovated and has all modern equipment and comforts. The garden is large, with plenty of playground for adults, children and pets.

Stavang lies (as the crow flies) about 100 km north of Bergen. Today it is a beloved recreation and experience area for anglers and boaters. Surrounded by forest and mountains to the east, it is also a beautiful area for hiking, either down in the valley or up on the mountain tops, with views down to the sea and the fjord. In the area lies one of Norway's larger rock rifts. The small town of Florø can be reached in just under half an hour by outboard boat, but is an hour away by car.

Great house
I was in this beautiful house in August/September 2023. I particularly liked the sensitive, tasteful renovation of the old parish house. There is nothing missing here and you can feel that it is also privately used: art on the walls, real indoor plants, a grand piano, etc. You actually feel like a guest at friends' house and not in some anonymous vacation rental. There is a huge garden with seating around the house.
The boat is well equipped for the region and the engine is fuel efficient. Conveniently, there is a small country store with a gas station in Stavang.
I especially recommend this house to couples or families with children and/or dogs. Pure fishing groups might be bothered by the 300 m to the harbor and the improvised filleting area (at the house).
The two landlords are very personable and the communication is uncomplicated, as S. Glosli speaks perfect German. I will come back someday.

Relaxing and fish-filled family vacation
This holiday home is an absolute dream if you want peace and quiet and want to catch many fish. The house offers a lot of space and is very nicely furnished. There is nothing missing. German satellite TV and very stable internet.
The fenced garden offers dogs a great opportunity to let off steam without escaping. The fjord is only a few minutes' walk away.
The rented boat is very reliable and the fishing spots are easy to find. We have been there for 3 weeks for two years in a row and will also spend our family vacation in this house next year.
The landlords of this house are very friendly and you immediately feel welcome.
