Exceptional location at the entrance of the Quiberon Peninsula in the coastal and historical village of Sainte-Barbe, bright and comfortable semi-detached house recently renovated, nestled in the greenery, large enclosed and sheltered individual garden, small view of the sea and dunes from the first floor. Residential environment away from the traffic of the Quiberon peninsula.
On the first line facing the dunes and the beach, 900 m from the sea, in the heart of the protected Grand Site Dunaire (Natura 2000), at the end of a cul-de-sac giving direct access to the cycle track which runs along the coast from Etel to Quiberon.
Bike rental in Plouharnel. The bike rental service delivers the bikes on site and collects them.
Ideal for nature and ocean lovers, sports enthusiasts, couples or families, up to 5 people with young children.
South facing terrace, garden furniture, parking and bike shed, outdoor solar shower for returning from the beach, barbecue and beach equipment.
Living room with wooden terrace, sofa and sitting area (Wifi, flat screen TV, DVD), large convivial table, kitchen open to the living room (washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob, fridge-freezer, electric oven).
On the first floor: 1 large master bedroom to the west (160cm bed + baby bed), 1 south bedroom (2 90cm beds and 1 80cm child's sofa bed), bathroom with bath/shower.
The South bedroom is flexible according to the number of occupants and can accommodate a maximum of two adults with one child or 3 children. For one adult, the two twin beds can be joined together to form a single bed and provide a more spacious room.
A baby bed with a comfortable mattress is available in the master bedroom, as well as a safety gate for the stairs.

| Covid: Cleaning fees are mandatory in 2021 as they correspond to the professional disinfection of the premises performed between each rental. If you wish to book, you will pay no extra charge, all charges (water, electricity, WiFi and visitor’s tax) are included in the price of the rental. We will jointly sign a rental agreement which I will send you by email. A deposit of 30% of the total rental amount will confirm the booking.When you book, you pay no additional costs (water, electricity, Wi-Fi and tourist tax). The booking will be confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of 30% of the total rent. |
Cancellation terms:
- Free cancellation option until 60 days before the day of arrival.
- In the event of cancellation up to 60 days before the start of occupancy, 0% of the total price. From 59 days to 30 days before the start of occupancy 30% of the total price. From 29 to 15 days before the start of occupancy 50% of the total price. From 14 days to the day of occupancy and in case of no-show without cancellation 100% of the total price. The 30% down payment will be refunded in full in the event of cancellation due to government health restrictions related to Covid. A special clause stipulates this in the lease agreement.

The obligatory cleaning fee of 50€ is included in the price when you make your reservation but must be given directly to the cleaning team on the day of departure.
It will therefore not be included in the calculation of the deposit and the balance due on the day of arrival.
The deposit is fully refundable in case of cancellation due to government health restrictions related to the Covid. A special clause in the rental contract states that.
Rental 2 weeks minimum in July/August (from Saturday to Saturday)
At the end of the stay, tenants have to let the house as clean as they found it at their arrival.

Very well recovered!
From the beginning, we were welcomed by the landlady and supported with many tips and suggestions. The holiday home (very quiet location) with a beautiful garden (sun lounger and hammock) is located in a cul-de-sac directly on the nature reserve. From there, you can take many beautiful trips to the surrounding area (beach, menhirs). The landlady's idea to rent bicycles from her acquaintance, who runs a bicycle rental shop in Plouharnel opposite a supermarket, was great because we saw many details that you can't see by car. The bicycles were brought to and picked up directly from the house. :-)
In the garden, there is a robin that likes to show up on the terrace to eat. :-)
The path through the dunes leads to an incredibly spacious and impressive beach, which looks different depending on the time of day and tides. A delight for hobby photographers and nature lovers.
The holiday home is very well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired.
After 2 weeks of wonderful weather, we drove home well rested. Gladly again. :-)

Tolle Ausgangsbasis für Strand- und Radelurlaub
Der Gäste-Anbau war für 2 erwachsene Personen ausreichend ausgestattet aber nicht üppig. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet: der sehr schöner, weitläufiger Strand ist zu Fuß oder mit dem Rad sehr gut zu erreichen (Baden, Surfen, Kite-Surfen). Mit dem Fahrrad kann man vom Haus aus sehr schöne Radtouren in der größeren Umgebung machen: mitunter sind die Routen gut beschildert, manchmal muss man leider kürzeren Strecken auf der Straße fahren. Die Französischen Autofahrern sind aber sehr rücksichtsvoll und pochen nicht auf schnelles Überholen oder Vorfahrt.
Von der Ferienwohnung waren wir ein wenig enttäuscht: Plastik-Gartenmöbel und Plastiktischdecke draußen (auf den Bildern sind Holzmöbel zu sehen), oberes Stockwerk sehr eng und alles sehr hellhörig, steile Treppe nach oben, Küchenutensilien waren vorhanden aber in billigster Qualität und teilweise sehr abgenutzt. Die CD-Abspielanlage funktionierte nicht, wurde zwar auf Anhieb repariert vom Vermieter, hat trotzdem nicht funktioniert. Nur 1 Mini-Bad in der Dachschräge und duschen für Personen die größer sind als 1.65 schwierig. Ojee, ich wollte nicht so viel jammern weil der Urlaub trotzdem sehr schön war und wir uns in der Unterkunft wohl gefühlt haben. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Vielen Dank für Ihre Offenheit. Auf Ihren Rat hin werden wir neue Fotos veröffentlicht und freuen uns, dass Sie Ihren Aufenthalt genossen haben und sich im Haus wohlgefühlt haben. Genau wie Sie bevorzugen wir Gartenmöbel aus Holz, aber während der Covid-Pandemie haben wir sie, um das Gesundheitsprotokoll einzuhalten, durch PVC-Möbel ersetzt, die leichter mit Bleichmittel zu reinigen sind. Um diese Unannehmlichkeit auszugleichen, haben wir zwei passende "Sonnenliegen" hinzugefügt, die nicht auf den Fotos zu sehen waren und die sehr beliebt waren. Außerdem sind diese Möbel in diesem heißen Sommer leichter, sodass sie leichter in den Schatten der Bäume gebracht werden können, und wir haben Sie vor Ihrer Ankunft über diese Änderung informiert. (Es steht Ihnen frei, die Tischdecke aus Wachstuch zu verwenden oder nicht. Wir hatten es von den vorherigen Mietern gelegt und nicht entfernt, weil wir dachten, dass Sie darin einen Vorteil sehen würden.)
Seit Juni 2022 haben wir auch eine neue Kühl-Gefrierkombination, einen neuen Geschirrspüler und einen neuen Fernseher angeschafft und wir bedauern, dass Sie dies bei Ihrer Bewertung der Ausstattung nicht berücksichtigt haben und werden demnächst die alten Küchenutensilien, die Ihnen nicht gefallen haben, ersetzen.

Relaxing summer holiday in a quiet location
Very friendly welcome by the landlady with cider, Produits Regioneaux and plenty of information about the area. The house is in a very quiet location on the edge of the village and offers enough space for 3 to 4 people, especially in good weather when you can use the spacious terrace and the large garden with deck chairs, patio furniture and barbecue. A very beautiful beach with good possibilities for surfing, kite surfing and swimming (also with small children) can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes through the dunes (there is of course also a road to the beach and parking facilities there). Fresh croissants and baguettes for breakfast are available about 7 to 8 minutes away on foot at a camping site. We had 2 great weeks there. We only give 4/5 stars for the facilities, as showering is only possible for small people standing up ;)

Should actually remain an insider tip!
The location of the house to the beach, dunes, heath, cycle paths and surrounding villages is ideal, bring your own bikes or rent them in Plouharnel! The house has a few minor faults as far as the bathroom, mattress quality and heat insulation are concerned. The landlady quickly became a good friend! Thank you very much, Isabelle!

Super holiday apartment
Very nice vacation apartment for four people. Equipment as described, WiFi, dishwasher, shower + bathtub. Small, wind-protected garden. Beach is easily accessible on foot. Marked hiking trails along the beach. Absolutely recommended.

Cozy cottage in a beautiful location
We spent a week here in April and felt very comfortable. The location on the edge of the dunes and directly on the bike path is very nice, so our bicycles that we brought with us were used daily. We were greeted very friendly by Isabelle, the landlady, everything went smoothly. In the house we found everything we needed.
