Description

The holiday home has 100 square metres of living space and a wellness area with 100 square metres, its own swimming pool 10 metres long, 3 metres wide and 1.25 metres deep and a steam sauna. The living area is divided into a living room with fireplace, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 1 toilet (in the wellness area), and 3 bedrooms that offer sufficient retreat possibilities
From the living area you have direct access to the 2nd terrace with seating furniture and barbecue. The bathroom has a bathtub, shower and WC. The 2nd bathroom has a shower at ground level

Due to its size and location, the property is particularly suitable for dog owners, for families with children, for groups planning mountain bike tours or for hiking enthusiasts. It is also ideal for agents, craftsmen and fitters

For our younger guests there is a multifunctional table (billiards, table football) as well as games and a DVD player and children's DVD.

You have your own driveway to the holiday home and several cars can be parked on the property.

Location and surroundings of object

The holiday home is located in the beautiful town of Wernigerode on the edge of the Harz Mountains, directly on the forest. You can reach the town in 10 minutes on foot. Wernigerode is known for many sights such as the town hall, the beautiful half-timbered houses, the smallest house, the leaning house and the castle. In the immediate vicinity is the Brocken, which invites you to visit. From the holiday home you can reach the Brocken on foot, by bike or by narrow-gauge railway. The hiking trail directly adjacent to the holiday home offers a wide variety of opportunities to experience the beautiful nature of the Harz Mountains. The Rübeländer stalactite caves, Thale with the Hexentanzplatz (witches' dance site) and the Wendefurt dam with the longest suspension bridge and other highlights are all within a 20 km radius.

Very gladly again!

We have just returned from a dream vacation week in this high-quality holiday home. Everything (and much more) was there that 3 generations need for a carefree stay. From the well-heated pool, to the spacious sauna, various games, kitchen appliances, comfortable beds - what more could you want?!

One friendly note for optimization: A railing for entering the pool would be nice - for safety, when grandma's knees are a bit wobbly. We would be very happy to book the holiday home again, if possible.

Highly recommended!!!

We spent a wonderful short vacation in Wernigerode.
Very nice contact with the landlord. Everything is very clean and well-kept. You feel comfortable right away. The highlight was of course the large pool. There are two terraces where you can sit comfortably.
The old town is within walking distance in 15 minutes. A visit to Wernigerode Castle is definitely worth it.
We will gladly come back!!!

Great holiday home

The vacation house is in a great location. In 15 minutes you can walk to the old town. A shopping possibility is less than 5 minutes away by car.
In the house you have everything you need. Everything is clean.
The pool was naturally the highlight. The kids had a lot of fun.
We will definitely recommend the vacation house and will definitely come back.

Holiday home to relax!

Lovely relaxing in the sauna and pool. Lovely spacious bathroom with walk-in shower. Kitchen well equipped, only missing a cheese slicer.
The large bed in the master bedroom was also very nice. TV, with Netflix and WiFi, works fine. The sofa did cause discomfort as it is very low and soft so not suitable for older guests or people with back problems.
Location is beautiful by the forest, shopping, restaurants, the castle, wildlife park, city centre, everything within walking distance. And it is very quiet with lots of birds in the garden.

fabulous family holiday

We are still here, but as I am relaxing, I may as well give a review.
The house is in a very quiet location. To the front there are gardens and a little stream with an adjacent road. The noise from the road is kept within limits.
To the back, nothing but forest. This is ideal for walks.
Large yard with parking. My fully loaded station wagon grinds a little on the ground when I drive up. This already has some drag marks. It was fine when the children and the dog were not on board. The terrace at the entrance is fenced. Dog owners appreciate this. The second terrace is also fenced in... a dream.
The building is modern and appealing. The cleanliness deserves 5 stars. The kitchen is well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. The bathrooms are clean and well equipped. You have to like the box spring bed. The owner likes beautiful light accents, that is obvious. The highlight for the whole family was of course the pool. MEGA!
After initial reservations about spending the summer holiday in Wernigerode, I have to say that everything is top notch. You can enjoy a few days in the city and the surrounding area. The Wi-Fi is great throughout the house and on the terrace.
There is a good selection of games. The small table football/billiards table was well received. It could use a few screws, as it has already had a few exciting sessions. Communication with the landlord is respectful and polite. Friends admire our status pictures and already inquire about the booking possibility. You can go shopping just a few houses away. The horse farm in the immediate vicinity is great. Anyway, the horse-drawn carriage ride we booked was great. The centre is not far away either. We will be happy to come back.

We feel very comfortable here, everything is wonderfully clean and every little thing that makes the stay pleasant has been thought of.

Beautiful location...everything is available for masters and dogs, children and kids.

Really nice pool area. The kids love the flat and this is the second time we have stayed here, which we don't usually do as we like to discover new things

But this is our favourite place! Unique.....Special.....?♀️

For the second time here, now everything is great!

In November, I was at Haus BeA for the second time and can now report with pleasure that all the points of criticism from my previous evaluation, as well as personal feedback on-site, have now been addressed. This is truly commendable and is also in line with the nice contact with the landlord here before and during the booking.

The space between the bathroom now has a curtain, which is very welcome. They even have a mop now! I am very pleased that my feedback was addressed immediately and I enjoyed my second stay 100% and will come back again.

By the way, during this visit, I also had usable internet (sufficient for Youtube videos, I didn't try more this time). This was probably because I was all alone and the internet connection is usually shared with the other buildings (just my assumption). One should not expect more from the internet, especially with several people it could be scarce. I was prepared this time and had already downloaded all the films at home to watch them offline - most streaming providers offer this option and I can only recommend it to visitors of BeA, because internet access is generally limited in the Harz region, even mobile networks :)

Wanderurlaub mit private Spa

I booked this accommodation for two people, but I was alone for the first two days. During this time, I spent all my time in the spa area, which I can highly recommend. Both the sauna and the pool (which was constantly at 30 degrees Celsius) are the clear highlights of this accommodation. However, there were also some small things that could be improved. Positive:
- Large pool with a pleasant temperature of 30 degrees, including sauna
- Everything looks just like in the pictures
- Very clean, cleaning staff was already preparing for our departure
- Very nice contact with the landlord
- Sufficient towels in the house for sauna, etc.

Neutral:
- The booking process was a bit slow at the beginning, my email through the website was not answered, but I received a response on this platform after some time. Not optimal for planning. - There was sand/gravel and other dirt in the corners of the pool, the pool vacuum probably doesn't reach well there, but it's not a big deal. Otherwise, everything was very clean, including the pool.
- Unfortunately, the sauna cannot be manually turned off, it always runs for 100 minutes.
- The condensation water tank needs to be emptied every 8 hours, a direct drain or external tank would be great.
- A mop was missing in the house, it would have been really useful.

Negative:
- The pool area and the path to the shower can be seen from the outside through the window front in the intermediate space, there is no curtain or similar, but it would be very desirable.
- Almost no internet available, especially not mobile. There are two Wi-Fi networks available, which are likely shared with other houses. At times, the download speed was 50kb/s, making it practically impossible to load websites, especially because the reception is not available in various parts of the house. With a good reception, we were able to download a 100mb file in 40 minutes. Unfortunately, working with this Wi-Fi network was not possible at all.

Super location and good accommodation

We stayed with 1 small dog and 2 teenagers for 1 week. We liked it very much. Nice landlord, accommodation suitable for dogs. The location is a good starting point for sightseeing. You can walk to the centre of the village in about 10 minutes. It really looks like the pictures
The property can be closed off. You are WITHOUT direct neighbours.
Accommodation is recommended. Directly behind the property is the forest, which is good for spontaneous walks
We would recommend the accommodation.

Wir sind zwar noch hier, aber da ich gerade entspanne, kann ich auch eine Bewertung abgeben. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Nach vorne befinden sich Gärten und ein Bächlein mit angrenzender Straße. Der Lärm der Straße hält sich in Grenzen. Nach hinten, nichts als Wald. Dieser bietet sich für Spaziergänge an. Großer Hof mit Parkmöglichkeiten. Mein voll bepackter Kombi schleift beim auffahren ein wenig am Boden. Dieser hat bereits einige Schleifspuren. Wenn die Kinder und der Hund nicht Onboard waren, ging es. Die Terasse am Eingang ist eingezäunt. Hundebesitzer wissen dieses zu schätzen. Die zweite Terrasse ist ebenso eingezäunt... ein Traum. Der Bau ist modern gehalten und ansprechend. Die Sauberkeit hat 5 Sterne verdient. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Badezimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Boxspringbett muss man mögen. Der Eigentümer mag schöne Lichtakzente, dass sieht man. Highlight für die gesamte Familie war natürlich der Pool. MEGA! Nach anfänglichen Bedenken den Sommerurlaub in Wernigerode zu verbringen, muss ich sagen, alles top. Man kann sich in der City und der Umgebung ein paar schöne Tage machen. Das WLAN ist im gesamten Haus und Terrasse top. Eine gute Spieleauswahl wird geboten. Der kleine Kicker-/ Billardtisch kam gut an. Dieser könnte mal ein paar Schrauben gebrauchen, dieser hat schon einige spannende Sessions hinter sich. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ist respektvoll und höflich. Freunde bewundern unsere Statusbilder und erkundigen sich bereits nach der Buchungsmöglichkeit. Einkaufen kann man direkt ein paar Häuser weiter. Der Reiterhof in unmittelbarer Nähe ist toll. Jedenfalls war die gebuchte Kutschfahrt toll. Zum Zentrum ist es ebenso nicht sehr weit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich habe diese Unterkunft für zwei Personen gebucht, war selbst die ersten beiden Tage alleine. Diese habe ich dann auch komplett im Spa Bereich verbracht und kann diesen sehr empfehlen. Sowohl die Sauna als auch der Pool (im Raum sind konstante 30 Grad gewesen) sind das klare Highlight dieser Unterkunft. Es gab aber auch Kleinigkeiten, welche noch verbesserungswürdig sind. Positiv: - großer Pool mit angenehmer Temperatur von 30 Grad, inklusive Sauna - alles so wie auf den Bildern - sehr sauber, bei unserer Abreise stand schon ein Team aus Putzkräften bereit - sehr netter Kontakt zum Vermieter - genug Handtücher im Haus für Sauna usw. Neutral: - die Buchung war anfangs etwas schleppend, meine Mail via Homepage wurde nicht beantwortet, auf dieser Plattform hier hingegen kam dann nach geraumer Zeit eine Antwort. Für die Planung nicht so optimal. - im Pool in den Ecken war Sand / Kies und sonstiger Dreck, hier kommt der Poolsauger wohl nicht so gut hin, alles aber nicht so wild. Ansonsten war alles sehr sauber, auch der Pool - die Sauna lässt sich leider nicht manuell abschalten, sie läuft immer 100 Minuten - alle 8 Stunden muss der Kondenswassertank geleert werden, hier wäre ein direkter Ablauf oder externer Tank super - ein Wischmop fehlte im Haus, der wäre noch echt praktisch gewesen Negativ: - der Poolbereich und der Weg zur Dusche ist von außen über die Fensterfront im Zwischenraum einsehbar, es gibt dort keinen Vorhang oder ähnliches, wäre aber sehr wünschenswert - quasie kein Internet vorhanden, mobil schon gar nicht. Es stehen zwei WLAN Netzwerke zur Verfügung, welche vermutlich mit anderen Häusern geteilt werden. Hier hat man zeitweise einen Download von 50kb/s, was das Laden von Websiten quasie unmöglich machte, auch weil der Empfang im Haus an verschiedenen Stellen nicht vorhanden ist. Mit gutem Empfang konnten wir dann eine 100mb Datei in 40 Minuten herunterladen. Arbeiten war mit diesem WLAN Netzwerk leider gar nicht möglich
