As a couple, spend your relaxing holiday in the middle of the North Frisian natural idyll in the far north, far away from the Enjoy the peace and quiet, just let your mind wander and relax This is the perfect place to slow down and regain your energy! Your dogs are also very welcome here and may even travel with you free of charge!

Our holiday home was completely renovated in 2017 and welcomes you as a semi-detached house in the quiet village of Uphusum with tasteful furnishings in a pretty country house style and fresh accents in shades of mint and turquoise, which harmonise wonderfully with the green idyllic landscape. The large outdoor area also invites you to relax: Three secluded seating areas are available for your sole use on the lovingly planted, 2000 m² garden plot, and the adjacent meadow plot (3000 m²) can be shared as an open space. A charcoal grill is also available for delicious barbeques.

Cosy seating sets invite you to linger in the spacious living area and an electric fireplace additionally provides a cosy feel-good atmosphere. You can prepare delicious holiday meals in the ultra-modern, openly integrated kitchen, which has been equipped with various technical amenities. Media entertainment is also provided with a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, a music system and free Wi-Fi. Should it be a bit windy, you can make yourself comfortable in the cosy beach chair! At the North Sea coast, which is only 25 km away, you can take extensive walks on the dyke with a view of the Wadden Sea. Afterwards, you can enjoy a relaxing sauna: In the neighbouring building next to the holiday home, a sauna may be used free of charge, which has also been equipped with relaxation loungers and a fully automatic coffee machine for all-round well-being.
After an eventful day, the comfortable double bed in the bedroom ensures a pleasant night's sleep and a baby travel cot can also be provided on request. Your toddler will certainly enjoy the play facilities in the garden, as there is a slide, a sandpit and a swing to share with the neighbouring holiday guests

A washing machine, dryer and various ironing utensils are available free of charge in the communal utility room. Bicycles that you bring with you can be stored next door in the barn in a lockable room.

In the quiet village of Uphusum, in the middle of beautiful North Friesland, you will find our holiday home 'Helene', surrounded by green idyllic countryside

The next largest village, Süderlügum, is only 7 km away and offers not only a beautiful inland dune landscape and an extensive forest area, but also bakers, supermarkets and restaurants for your daily needs. But the holiday region "Northern North Frisia" offers not only absolute tranquillity in fresh air and rural nature idyll, but also various possibilities for your leisure programme: Cultural and artistic aspects are offered in the "Emil-Nolde Museum" in Neukirchen; "Natural History Museum", "Richard Haizmann Museum" and in the "Friesenmuseum" in Niebüll.

On the North Sea coast, 25 km away, the 'Wadden Sea World Heritage Site' awaits you with a variety of excursions, such as guided mudflat walks or Hallig Sea trips with a visit to the seal banks, which can be undertaken from Dagebüll. Extensive walks on the dyke in the fresh sea air with a view of the extensive Wadden Sea and also bird watching can become unforgettable holiday experiences.

In the summer season, you can also take a refreshing swim in the North Sea at the green beaches (at the Rickelsbüller Koog nature reserve, directly on the Danish border) or visit the heated swimming pools in the surrounding towns (the adventure pool in Leck or the indoor pool in Niebüll). Neukirchen also has a beautiful bathing area by the lake (Hülltofter Tief)

If you are looking for a sporting challenge, you can cycle on the cross-border cycle path, the so-called 'border route' along the German-Danish border: The 130 km long route leads along idyllic paths from the North Sea to the Baltic Sea.
