The Waldfee holiday home on the Ems has a large living-dining area with kitchen on the ground floor and 2 bathrooms. In the attic there are 3 bedrooms with double beds, as well as a cot. From one bedroom there is access to the balcony and garden.

This dreamlike wooden house is located in the Emstal Walchum marina park. The beautiful holiday home with over 600m2 of land invites you to spend quiet moments by the water, but also to go for long walks with the dog along the Ems or on bike tours. The Ems cycle path starts directly at the house, heading north towards the Dollart or south towards Lingen. From the terrace or balcony, you can enjoy the view over the Ems. With a canoe or fishing boat (4 hp) you can explore the beautiful water region of the Ems directly from the harbour. Had a nice week

We felt very comfortable in the holiday apartment. The large property invites relaxation. Everything needed was available in the house. Very nice bike path along the Ems just around the corner. Excursion destinations like Wildlands Zoo or North Sea are very quickly reachable by car. We would love to come back.

First holiday house Waldfee

Hello Ms. Köster, your house "Waldfee" is very beautiful. The furnishings are tastefully decorated, the house is very clean, and the location in Marina Park Walchum is great. We felt very comfortable during the Christmas holidays in the house "Waldfee". The tranquility was fantastic for relaxing the mind and soul from everyday life. We would like to thank you again for the wonderful time in the house "Waldfee".

Tolles gemütliches Ferienhaus

Super quiet and pleasant holiday home. Great location right on the Ems. You can bike for hours or take walks with the dog. Super nice landlords. We will definitely come back.

Absolute Erholung

If you want to enjoy a quiet and relaxing vacation with children and dogs, this is the right place. The hosts are very nice and accommodating, the house is in very good condition, and the equipment is also top-notch. We (2 adults, 1 dog) were absolutely thrilled with the house. You can either bike or walk for many kilometers along the Ems river. The garden is perfect for the dog as it is large and fenced. We can absolutely recommend this house. We will definitely come back.

Dream holiday

We stayed in August, the hottest time of year, in the Köster family's fantastically beautiful Waldfee holiday home. We (three adults, two children and a dog) couldn't have chosen better! The enclosed property has a small gate through which you can go directly to the Ems to jump into the water. Super cool! There are plenty of places to sit and relax in and around the house. The house is lovingly furnished and there is plenty of crockery and cutlery. We didn't use the boats this time (but we'll be back).
The cycle path along the Ems invites you to long walks with the dog and bicycle tours (two of which were available to us).
Our conclusion: A holiday home that leaves nothing to be desired. Thank you very much for a wonderful time!

Time out from everyday life

We spent our summer holiday this year with our three children (10 to 13 years old) and our dog in Haus Waldfee in the Marinapark in Walchum. The house is located in the Marinapark, which was built directly on the Ems. If you are looking for peace and quiet and love nature, this is the place for you. We were warmly welcomed by the Köster family and immediately felt at home and in good hands. The house is furnished as if you were at home. We didn't want for anything. Even a kitchen scale is available. In the lower area of the house are the two shower bathrooms and the open kitchen to the living area. Here you will also find a hairdryer and even a bathroom scale. The sofas and the armchair invite you to relax. The three bedrooms are located on the upper floor. Bedroom No. 1 is a typical master bedroom with a large wardrobe and shelf and a relax armchair. In the morning you will be woken up by the chirping of the birds. Bedroom No. 2 was immediately taken over by the children, as this double bed was built into the sloping roof. Bedroom No. 3 also has a double bed. It should be noted here that you can only open the balcony door for ventilation and there is no other window

The garden is large and fenced. Perfect for the children and our dog. The swivel barbecue made delicious food for us, and the garden loungers and beach chair also gave us parents plenty of time to relax. We also enjoyed being able to take the canoe and the rubber dinghy with the 4 HP motor out on the Ems

If you don't only want to spend time in the house and garden, you can go cycling, inline skating, walking, joogen on the cycle path that runs right next to the house. There are plenty of excursions in the surrounding area. The Köster family helped us in word and deed when things got stuck. We would recommend this holiday home without hesitation and wish the Köster family all the best!

Unseren diesjährigen Sommerurlaub verbrachten wir mit unserern drei Kindern (10 bis 13 Jahren) und unserer Hündin im Haus Waldfee im Marinapark in Walchum. Das Haus liegt im Marinapark, der direkt an der Ems angelegt wurde. Wer Ruhe sucht und die Natur liebt, ist hier goldrichtig. Wir wurden herzlich von Familie Köster empfangen und fühlten uns so gleich wohl und sehr gut aufgehoben. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist so, als wäre man zu Hause. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Selbst eine Küchenwaage ist vorhanden. Im unteren Bereich des Hauses befinden sich die zwei Duschbäder und die offene Küche zum Wohnbereich. Auch hier finden Sie einen Fön und sogar eine Personenwaage. Die Sofas und der Sessel laden zum relaxen ein. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich die drei Schlafzimmer. Schlafzimmer Nr. 1 ist ein typisches Elternschlafzimmer mit großem Kleiderschrank und Regal und Relaxsessel. Morgens werden Sie vom zwitschern der Vögel geweckt. Schlafzimmer Nr. 2 wurde sofort von den Kindern in Beschlag genommen, da dieses Doppelbett in der Dachschräge eingebaut wurde. Im Schlafzimmer Nr. 3 befindet sich auch ein Doppelbett. Hier ist anzumerken, dass man zum lüften nur die Balkontür öffnen kann und kein weiteres Fenster vorhanden ist. Der Garten ist groß und eingezäunt. Perfekt für die Kinder und unseren Hund. Der Schwenkgrill hat uns leckeres Essen gezaubert, die Gartenliegen und der Strandkorb ließen uns Eltern auch viel Zeit zum entspannen. Außerdem hat es uns viel Freude bereitet, dass wir mit dem Paddelboot und dem Schlauchbootmit 4PS Motor ein wenig die Ems unsicher machen konnten. Wer nicht nur Zeit im Haus und Garten verbringen möchte, kann Fahrradfahren, Inlinern, spazieren, joogen auf dem direkt neben dem Haus verlaufenden Radwanderweg. Ausflüge in die Umgebung gibt es reichlich. Familie Köster hat uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden, wenn es mal klemmte. Wir empfehlen dieses Ferienhaus ohne Bedenken weiter und wünschen Famlie Köster alles Gute!
