Perfect family vacation
The apartment was perfect for our family vacation. We went before the season this year. As there was still a lot of availability (because Easter was very early this year), we got a free upgrade to the Goldfisch 5 apartment, and the review refers to Goldfisch 5. It was just perfect. Everything was there. From a Weber grill to a washing machine, coffee maker, toaster, waffle iron, etc. ... even things that are usually missing in other apartments, like coffee filters or dish soap, were all available. It was all-around perfect, and when we arrived, someone was already there to greet us. Just a perfect location for a family vacation with a super nice host who was always available and helpful. It couldn't have been better.

We can also only agree with the other reviews. We were on Krk for the first time and were very impressed. Dean Černe is a real treasure and very committed to the satisfaction of his guests. He provided us with information in advance, gave tips on how to get there and where to buy regional products, etc. Šilo is a small, peaceful place. If you don't need a lot of hustle and bustle, it's the perfect place. The apartment is simply top-notch and really very spacious! It was very clean and lovingly decorated. The large, sheltered terrace offers a fantastic view of the sea. The beach, partly with sand/fine gravel and bathing platforms, can be reached in a few minutes. Another fine gravel beach (with plenty of parking spaces) is not far away near the campsite. We also really enjoyed the boat trip over to Crikvenica on the mainland. The week passed too quickly, but we had a great time and enjoyed our holiday very much. In other words, we felt very comfortable! We can highly recommend the holiday apartment and the island. Silo - Holiday apartment by the sea
The apartment was as described, the photos are current. We were there for a week with 4 adults and 1 child. There would have been another sleeping option (pull-out couch in the living room). There is definitely enough space for 4-5 people. The kitchen in the living room is very communicative because it is open, modernly equipped, and we found everything we are used to from our own kitchen. The bathroom is also modern and well-maintained and clean like the rest of the apartment. The beach is only a staircase away, and along its entire length, one can find a variety of coves for swimming. There is a small grocery store within walking distance, open until 10 pm; a huge supermarket is a 10-minute drive away. The village consists almost entirely of vacation rentals; I didn't see any hotels. The atmosphere was very pleasant. We spent beautiful hours on the large terrace, where we could admire the sea and the mainland across from us. We would go back again if the journey was not so long (peak season, over 10 hours by car). We can recommend the apartment with a clear conscience. The landlord provided us with all the necessary information and tips and was always approachable and reachable.

Super nice holiday in Šilo
We spent 2 weeks in Šilo and felt very comfortable. The apartment is bright and cheerfully maritime furnished. The terrace is fantastic - nothing was missing. Mr. Cerne, the landlord, is super helpful and always ready to assist.
