Welcome to our small holiday home in Carnikava near Riga, on the Bay of Riga in Latvia.
The holiday home is located in a housing estate in the village of Carnikava in the immediate vicinity, northeast of the Latvian capital Riga, directly on the Baltic Sea. The beach is about 2 km away. The Gauja River (the second most important river in Latvia) is approx. 250 m away.
The well-maintained property is approx. 600 sqm in size and includes the holiday home, a carport with a tool shed and plenty of space for outdoor recreation and relaxation.
The holiday home itself has a living area, bedroom, kitchen, shower and separate toilet.
The centre of the village with supermarket, various shops and a restaurant is about 2 kilometres away, so it is also within walking distance.
Riga is about 20 km away, easily reachable by car in half an hour. By train directly from Carnikava you need about half an hour.
Our holiday home in Carnikava is a good base to discover Latvia, as well as Lithuania and Estonia, or to enjoy a relaxing holiday.

We are a Latvian-German family. Inese is Latvian and Dirk came from Germany to Latvia for work almost 25 years ago and has stayed here. Our holiday home was not always a holiday home. Originally built in the late 1960s as a dacha by Inese's father and uncle for recreational purposes, it was used by ourselves from the early 2000s onwards for recreation and summer stays. After the completion of our own house, the question was whether to sell it or to continue using it. We decided to renovate it extensively in order to be able to offer Carnikava as a domicile for tourists who are curious about the Baltic States. We speak German, English, Russian and of course Latvian. In this respect, we should be able to take care of all the things that will make your holiday or stay with us an unforgettable experience.
