That's how vacation should be!
We had a wonderful time in this great house, it lacked nothing.
The house is as described, great location and not far from the beach but away from the hustle and bustle - you can only hear the sound of the waves! The equipment of the house is superb, everything is available in the kitchen and in very good condition. The house is well-maintained, the bathrooms are not old. Outside there is a large terrace with a great grill, a large pool, and a beautifully landscaped garden with old trees. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.
The handling of the formalities went smoothly.

Well-equipped house in a beautiful location but unfortunately disappointing aftermath.
First, our objective assessment of the house: the house is really very well equipped and nothing is missing. If it weren't for the subsequent reaction of the landlord, which unfortunately really disappointed us: when using one of the roof windows, the handle bar broke off, which is a completely normal sign of wear and tear, especially in older Velux roof windows. We informed the landlord about this on the same day and also took photos of it. After 2.5 weeks since our return from vacation had passed and we had not received our deposit, or the landlord had not contacted us at all, we politely inquired. In response, we were told that the roofer had not contacted them yet, but the landlord now wanted to find out for himself how much such a window handle would cost. When several days passed without any response from the landlord, we did our own research. The window handle costs around 79 euros, which means it is really a small thing. We informed the landlord about this - and also our objective opinion that it is more of ordinary wear and tear. In response, the landlord reacted very unprofessionally and disappointingly by suggesting deducting a flat rate of 200 euros from the deposit. We accepted just to close the matter. We are landlords ourselves and would never charge our tenants for a window handle that naturally breaks after years of wear and tear. But even if one may have a different opinion here: a middle ground in terms of price could have been reached and a factual response from the landlord could have been expected. If nothing breaks in the house, then everything is fine and the landlord is friendly. If (whether it's just wear and tear or not) unfortunately, kindness can quickly disappear, and one cannot expect a rational discussion.

Definitely a dream accommodation to recommend to others
We spent two weeks in this beautiful house. Everything is perfect here. Both the contact with the landlord before, during and after the stay, as well as the house and the surroundings. The house is equipped with everything you can imagine. It is very invitingly furnished, the garden offers a terrace with a nice barbecue, a very clean pool and is in itself very nicely grown and maintained. The beach is within walking distance. We were two families and can definitely recommend this house.

as always great - paradise
We have been here several times on vacation and by now it feels like a second home. Full 5 stars. The location is unique, great big garden, great pool, barbecue, plancha, complete kitchen, sauna, everything is perfect. Perfect for me as a hobby cook (also the markets). Complete privacy. Great beach walks, depending on your mood you can immerse yourself in hustle and bustle or solitude. Spain, Biarritz, great cities and landscapes, people right on your doorstep, culture like Guggenheim (a great day trip), rafting or just lazy reading under the fig tree in the garden. All tastes of the family are satisfied.
For families with children ... do not underestimate the Atlantic .. a red flag is a red flag .. don't even go knee-deep into the water .. the helicopter goes by several times a day .. but there is also a pool.
And! Great uncomplicated, generous landlords ... Superhost :-)

We cannot recommend the accommodation as the landlord did not include important information in the property description, which one only discovers upon arrival. Subsequently, he simply withheld 500 euros of the deposit without, for example, providing an invoice. This borders on arbitrariness.

uns nicht nur in keinster Weise toleriert,
