Welcome to our family-friendly holiday flats in Steinölsa on the Waldhof.
If you are looking for peace and relaxation and an eventful holiday for your children, then you have come to the right place. Our two lovingly and comfortably furnished 2 holiday flats and one double room are located in the middle of the forest in the Upper Lusatian Heath and Pond Landscape Biosphere Reserve.
Children have plenty of space to run around and play. A small playground with swing, slide, climbing ladder and a sandbox are available
Child-loving pets (dog and two cats) are waiting to be petted.
In the garden there are several sitting areas, a pavilion and a barbecue and fireplace.

Location and surroundings of object
The Waldhof is quietly and idyllically situated in the "Hohe Dubrau" nature reserve.
With a bit of luck, you can experience the local game in the wild with us.
The holiday flats are located on our residential property.
Nearby there is the Quitzdorf reservoir, the Bärwalder See lake, the Olba river and other bathing lakes. There you can go swimming, fishing, surfing, rowing and motor boating.
If you prefer cycling, the nearby Frog Cycle Path will suit your taste. This leads through the Lusatian lake landscape, which is characterised by extensive forests and countless ponds.
You can hike extensively in the Zittau Mountains, the Königshain Mountains, the Giant Mountains and the Jizera Mountains.
The German-Sorbian town of Bautzen, the cultural-historical town of Görlitz, the Fürst-Pückler-Park in Bad Muskau and the cultural island Einsiedel and the dinosaur park in Kleinwelka are particularly interesting for children.

Flat B costs 56,00 Euro per night for 2 persons and the double room 35,00 Euro per night, plus costs for final cleaning. Extra beds and cots are possible. Children up to 6 years of age pay nothing, above this age all persons pay 9,00 Euro per night. |

Absolutely recommended
We stayed with our two children (1 & 4) with the Gorn family and felt very comfortable and welcome right from the start. They are very friendly and fond of children. The flat was very clean and everything you need was there. The garden is spacious and cosy. We felt very comfortable. Even if there had been any open wishes, we could have gone to Mrs or Mr Gorn at any time. The property is fenced all around, so you can let the children play while you relax on the terrace. The Gorn family have chickens, rabbits and a very loving, child-friendly dog. This mini-farm also went down very well with our children. If we had any questions about excursions, the surroundings or other tips, Mrs. and Mr. Gorn always had an open ear. We can absolutely recommend booking a holiday with the Gorn family. We will definitely be back.
