Our cosy 5-star wooden house in Scandinavian style "villa kunterBunt" awaits you in the small village of Grödersby in the middle of the idyllic Schlei region and offers a beautiful garden with a view of the fields and the neighbouring garden pond (fenced off and fenced in). Enjoy your long-awaited time-out from everyday life here together with the whole family and your beloved four-legged friends!
Due to the low barrier ground floor of the house, the "villa kunterBUNT" is also well suited for wheelchair users and people with limited mobility - on this level there is a low barrier single bedroom, a low barrier shower bathroom, as well as the kitchen and the living/dining room. The bathroom has a floor-level shower with shower stool and grab bar, a WC with grab bars and a washbasin that can be moved underneath
Comfortable couches invite you to linger in the living room and the crackling fireplace creates a pleasant atmosphere of well-being even in colder seasons. The veranda, which faces the rear garden area, which is completely fenced in so that your four-legged friends can also enjoy safe free running, is directly accessible from the living room. The terrace offers high-quality garden furniture, a beach chair and a view of the greenery.
Two further bedrooms can be reached via the stairs on the upper floor and offer space for another 5 people with 1 double bed and 2 sofa beds (both extendable to 160x200cm). Media entertainment is also provided with a flat-screen TV, a music system and free Wi-Fi. In the basement of the house, the little holiday guests will find plenty to do in the playroom, which is well equipped with a bunk bed, children's DVDs, a desk with colouring materials, children's books and many games from Lego and Playmobil to Lillifee
But there is also a great highlight here for the adults: in the Finnish sauna you can completely relax and leave the stress of everyday life completely behind you! The rain shower in the 2nd bathroom right opposite provides refreshment after the sauna.
A storage room, which can be reached from the outside, offers space to store bicycles or fishing equipment you have brought with you. Freshly caught fish can be stored here in the freezer. In addition, there is a table football table here.

Location and surroundings of object
The "villa kunterBUNT" is located on the outskirts of Grödersby, only 300m from the Schlei, amidst the idyllic landscape of the Angeln region.
The smallest town in Germany "Arnis" is only 1km away from Grödersby and offers a bakery as well as several restaurants and a small bathing beach directly on the Schlei
The harbour town of Kappeln can also be reached in a few minutes by car or by bike and offers a pretty old town with many shops, cafés and restaurants as well as a fish smokehouse. When the sun is shining, it is also a good idea to explore the Schlei region from the water: with the paddle steamer "Schlei Princess", which offers trips from Kappeln harbour towards Schleimünde or Schleswig. Or enjoy the harbour cinema with a cup of coffee when numerous boats & sailing ships pass the open Schleibrücke bridge. Nature lovers also get their money's worth in our region: The nature reserve "Geltinger Birk" offers numerous bird species, Scottish Highland cattle are also native here and maybe, if you are lucky, you will discover some of the Konik wild horses living here.

A real home
The house is not like a holiday home, but the loving decor makes it feel like a home. The call after 2 days to check if everything is okay was very nice! It is very well maintained inside and out. We felt really comfortable, our dog loved the garden! A confirmation of the full payment receipt would be great, then one wouldn't be uneasy with an unknown provider. Lighting on the veranda would also be nice. In the dark, the steps are hard to see.

Our vacation
We particularly liked the location (for excursions and walks), the sauna, the stove, and the garden. Unfortunately, the vacuum cleaner is terribly loud and we vacuum a lot because of the dogs (Tip: a new one!!). For 5 adults, the refrigerator is too small; a second one in the basement would be good!! We felt comfortable and enjoyed the sauna and the dog-friendly environment. With 5 adults, one has to arrange with the kitchen and interior. The garden and veranda invite you to linger and offer peace and relaxation.
