Not far from Forte Lorense, a Renaissance fortress, you can visit Villa Margherita, built at the beginning of the 20th century by the Counts Della Gherardesca.
But the biggest attraction of this seaside resort is, of course, the crystal-clear sea, which is repeatedly awarded the Blue Flag. There are a number of inviting lidos along the beautiful coastline, as well as "Punti Azzurri", that is, wide stretches of open beach that offer both toilet facilities and supervision
A visit to the church of Santa Maria Assunta, which was consecrated on 15 August 1988 and is located in the pine forest, is a nice change of pace. It is characterised by its unusual octagonal floor plan, the impressive wooden pyramid roof and the glass walls facing the garden. The Cavallino Matto amusement park, one of the largest and most attractive on the Tuscan coast, is also located in the pine forest.

Beautiful holiday home
We spent wonderful days in this lovely apartment with a dreamlike garden! The garden is spacious and completely fenced. Our two Chihuahuas could run free. It is also a paradise for children! Each apartment has its own garden with its own pool and its own playground for children! Extraordinary! The apartment itself is cozy and fully furnished, so you feel at home. It is not far to the beautiful sandy beach. Shopping opportunities are nearby. Walks through the pine forest are highly recommended. There is also a nice amusement park and a horse farm nearby.
The hosts are extraordinarily nice, accommodating, and dedicated!
We will definitely be very happy to return!

The most beautiful vacation home I've ever stayed in!
My family and I had the best vacation ever in this beautiful house, fully equipped with all the comforts, featuring a gorgeous fenced garden that brought joy to our beloved pets and us. We found it ideal for outdoor exercise and meditation, and so close to the sea that we could reach it on foot without taking the car! What can I say, we fell in love! The owners are caring, friendly, and down-to-earth and will provide you with lots of useful and interesting information about the surroundings. 5 well-deserved stars, we will definitely return.
