Our newly renovated cottage is quiet and very beautiful in a 2600 square meters walled garden with olive trees, palm trees and views of the sea.
Ideal for relaxing - no mass tourism, away from the hustle and bustle.
The house is fully furnished and consists of 1 bedroom, 1 living room with sofa bed for 2 persons, bathroom with shower / WC, large covered, beautiful terrace with sea view and garden with plenty of space.
Each room has its own access outside to the terraces. In the living room there is a couch that can be transformed into a double bed and a stove for cooler evenings in spring and autumn or for a stay in winter. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and everything else you need. The bathroom has 2 sinks, 1 spacious shower, bidet and toilet.
It is also comfortable on the covered terrace on the east side. It is sheltered from the wind and you also have sea views there.
2-4 people can spend a relaxing and relaxing holiday here and let the soul.
From the large terrace, a staircase leads to the garden with olive, pomegranate, apricot and fig trees. Under the big pine you can relax in the shade.

Our house is away from the hustle and bustle in San Pietro and offers peace and tranquility amidst beautiful nature overlooking the sea.
The nearest typical restaurants are a few km, and for strolling and shopping in Avetrana or Manduria 5 or 8 km.
The flat and kilometer-long, Caribbean-like sandy beach is 2, 5 km away. Sun loungers as on the Adriatic you will not find here. The water is crystal clear and you can choose between many beautiful beaches.

beautiful well-kept house / estate in absolute seclusion and tranquility
The house, the terraces, and the large beautiful garden are very clean and well maintained. We found the property just as beautiful as the photos and the description on the internet showed. The communication with the owner and Lucia (on-site) was very good before and during our stay. The detailed information about the house and the many tips for shopping, restaurants, and attractions were very positive and helpful for us. A car is definitely needed for the stay, although you have to get used to the unpaved roads to the house. The beaches in San Pietro are very spacious and beautiful, the town itself doesn't offer much, but all shopping possibilities are available. The house is suitable for various excursions.

Beautiful house in an absolutely quiet location.
We spent two wonderful weeks in San Pietro in Bevagna. The house is very well equipped for two people, very clean and with its two terraces, grill area and outdoor showers, a real feel-good place. Unfortunately, due to heavy rains before our arrival, the mosquitoes were so numerous and aggressive that we could no longer use the outdoor area in still weather from early evening onwards. The unsealed (field) paths to the house itself were also heavily eroded and not easily accessible with every car.
San Pietro itself has charming beaches, but is a somewhat soulless vacation spot (which was almost completely deserted in the off-season). On the other hand, the surrounding towns (Maruggio, Avetrana, Manduria) were charming and had excellent restaurants and cafes. The villa is also an ideal starting point for day trips to Lecce, Gallipoli and Ostuni. But more than perfect was the communication with Lucia and Birgit, who were always absolutely friendly and helpful.

Pure relaxation
Those who need hustle and bustle are absolutely wrong here. But if you want to relax, you will enjoy it. The house is a bit remote, but you can reach a beautiful beach in 5-10 minutes by car, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The house was handed over to us very clean, we felt very comfortable here for a fortnight. Nice contact with the landlady, who was always available for any questions in advance. The handover of the keys also went smoothly. This was probably not the last time we stayed here.

Beautiful holiday home for those seeking peace and quiet
We spent 3 weeks in this beautiful holiday home and enjoyed every day. The equipment of the house is good, everything has been renovated with a lot of heart and thought. When it comes to bed linen and towels, you notice that value is placed on quality and the house is not equipped with "what you no longer need at home".
The handover of keys with Lucia went smoothly. The owner was also available by mobile phone at all times (communication beforehand was also great!)
Whoever books the house should be aware that a car is required. You are not far away from civilisation, but definitely outside the village of San Pietro and in a (for us dreamlike) "secluded" location which nevertheless allows you to be at the wonderful beach of San Pietro in a maximum of 5 minutes by car
The front terrace is very large and simply fantastic. Especially in the evening it is our favourite place! But the side terrace is also practical: when you come home after excursions or from the beach, it is already nice and shady here.
The outdoor shower behind the house also deserves a positive mention. It was just great to be able to shower off the sand and salt here after the beach!
We would recommend Villa Maruggio at any time with a clear conscience, but only to people who are looking for peace and relaxation and therefore appreciate the house and the surroundings!
