This beautiful and quietly situated holiday home is the ideal starting point for holiday fun at the North Sea. It can be rented in half or in its entirety.
The half of the house has 3 bedrooms. The 1st bedroom, as well as the shower room and the large kitchen/living room are each on the ground floor. On the 1st floor is the beautiful, modern furnished living room, as well as the 2nd bedroom, with a single bed and a bunk bed. The 3rd bedroom is cosy under the roof, on the gallery. Each half of the house is equipped with a radio, CD/USB player, DVD player, W-Lan, washing machine, hair dryer, cooker with oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, garden furniture and a large garden with barbecue facilities. Both halves of the house have their own south-facing terrace.
Electricity, gas, water and washing machine are included in the price.

Location and surroundings of object
Otterndorf is located south of the Elbe estuary and offers many opportunities for a relaxing and varied holiday with its extensive green beach, the mudflats, its beautiful lake landscape, the historic old town and an interesting hinterland. As a World Natural Heritage Site, the Wadden Sea off Cuxhaven offers a unique experience. You can also visit the wellness area of our brine bath or the indoor and outdoor swimming pools in neighbouring Wingst. Helgoland and Neuwerk invite you to unforgettable day visits, Cuxhaven, Hamburg, Bremen and Stade are quickly reached by car. There is also a lot to discover on bicycle tours in the immediate surroundings of Otterndorf.
For children, there is a huge playground directly behind the dyke. At the large bathing lake there is a large recreational area with numerous attractions and a barbecue area and a small water ski facility.
Sports enthusiasts are also catered for: football and volleyball, basketball, paddling, surfing, mini-golf, skating and cycling are all on offer. The neighbouring village of Neuhaus has a large, modern water-skiing facility.
For cooler days, there is also the play barn, which is well worth a visit. For culture fans, there is the Crane House Museum, the Old Latin School, the Johann Heinrich Voss House, the St. Severi Church, the Gate House, etc. in our historic old town. Numerous restaurants and the nearby Cuxhaven harbour offer the best freshly caught fish and crabs straight from the cutter.

A beautiful vacation
We spent ten very relaxing days in your holiday home.
It is located right by the coast, in the first row behind the dike, and we enjoyed the historic flair of the building combined with the modern amenities.
Everything is cozily furnished and offers plenty of space. We lacked nothing; the kitchen is very well equipped, and everything was clean.
The outdoor area offers plenty of space; we were able to enjoy the evening sun and safely store our bicycles. Culinary options are well provided on the dike... from snack bars to cafés, everything is easily accessible, and you can enjoy many beautiful views of the North Sea. We are passionate cyclists and were able to undertake many beautiful tours along the dike, but also inland.
We say THANK YOU for this beautiful vacation home and can recommend it 100 percent.

Great location
We had a few wonderful and great days in the holiday flat. The location is perfect, so we were quickly at the sea.
The house is very nicely furnished, cosy and clean.

Short holiday directly on the dyke
We had a lovely holiday in this holiday home. The location is perfect, so we could quickly go to the sea and the bathing lake.
The house is very nicely furnished, cosy and clean.
We felt very comfortable and will gladly come back.

Good location, accommodation showing signs of age.
Really good location.
Property is idyllic, but in need of updating.
We would have liked it a bit cleaner.
Therefore, price/value not really justified.

Vielen Dank für Ihre Meinung, das hilft uns beim Erkennen von Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten.
Ihr Besuch scheint allerdings schon etwas zurück zu liegen, weil wir in 2022 in diesem Haus noch keine Gäste aus Hannover hatten.
Das Haus ist tatsächlich aus den Achzigern , es wurde aber mehrfach renoviert. Zuletzt haben wir Mitte Mai dieses Jahres fast alle Fenster erneuert und demnächst gibt es neue Gartenmöbel.
Die Ausstattung könnte tatsächlich etwas besser sein, aber Wasserbetten, Pool und Sauna werden wir leider auch in Zukunft nicht anbieten können. Ansonsten bietet dieses Haus mehr Ausstattung und ist wesentlich günstiger, als so mancher trendige Neubau.
Den Punkt Sauberkeit nehmen wir sehr ernst und werden das umgehend mit unseren Reinigungskräften besprechen.
Wir würden uns jedenfalls freuen, wenn Sie uns bald noch einmal besuchen würden.
