Our cozy gallery apartment on the outskirts of Steibis has a total area of 40 sqm and a large terrace. Downstairs are the kitchen, the bathroom with shower/WC, and the living room with dining area. The spacious bedroom is upstairs.
Amenities:
Plenty of space in the kitchen cupboards, refrigerator with 3*** freezer compartment, 4 hotplates, oven with microwave and grill, dishwasher, toaster with bun attachment, and coffee machine. And of course dishes, cutlery, etc. Coffee, tea and spices are also available. Free Wi-Fi.
A hair dryer, drying rack and iron are also provided.
In the living room: smart TV and a sofa bed with a sleeping area of 160 x 190. The quiet apartment is located on the first floor at the back of the building: no street noise, no exhaust fumes!

The Alpine Apartment House offers guests a recently renovated indoor pool, a table tennis room (please bring your own paddles). A lounge and heated ski room are available free of charge. The house also has a sauna as well as a washing machine and dryer (for a fee).
An underground parking space also belongs to the apartment. Unfortunately, this is not suitable for larger, i.e. tall cars. Max. Height 1.64m) If you have a smaller car, you can use the parking space, but there is no entitlement to it.
The bus stop is only a few meters from the complex. With your guest card, you can use the bus free of charge, even as far as Immenstadt. Ideal for those who want to spend their holiday entirely or partly car-free.

The apartment is located on the outskirts of Steibis, just a few meters from several hiking trails, a ski lift, and a golf course. It's only a few minutes to the center of Steibis.
In about ten minutes, you can walk to the valley station of the Imberg cable car. And the free bus will take you to the Hochgrat cable car in just a few minutes.
Oberstaufen has good train connections to Lindau on Lake Constance, Oberstdorf, Kempten, and Ulm, Augsburg, or Munich. Füssen and the Royal Castles, as well as Bregenz, Vorarlberg, and Switzerland are also easily accessible.
Several long-distance trains also stop in Oberstaufen or in Immenstadt. From there, either a train or bus connection to Oberstaufen/Steibis.
Those who want a vacation without a car are in the right place.

Oberstaufen plus! That means, free rides on all mountain cable cars in and around Oberstaufen, including a ski pass in winter and e-bike rental in summer. Additionally, free access to Aquaria, the wellness bath in Oberstaufen, and free bus travel.
Most hiking trails in and around Steibis are not only child-friendly, many can even be used with strollers. And the little ones will surely like the playground right next to the house. A linen package consisting of bed linen, towels, and tea towels can be rented: Euro 15 per person. Please specify before arrival. Payment is made on site.
A local tourism tax of 3,50€ per person per night will be collected on site. Children under 16 pay half.
Dogs are also welcome. However, the cost is 5 € per day.

Poor service on site, did not receive a good introduction.
Had to spend the first night in the car as neither the exact address nor phone numbers were available.

Wir vermieten die Wohnung seit sechs Jahren und bis jetzt hat jeder Gast unsere Verwalterin vor Ort gefunden, ohne Probleme. Was immer schief gelaufen ist, es lag nicht an uns.
My husband and I bought the apartment last winter and have since renovated it with love and great care. Born in Augsburg, Bavaria, the Allgäu has always been my "playground", and there aren't many trails in the mountains I haven't hiked on yet.
