It is a spacious and well-kept apartment, with a beautiful garden area, so you can spend a lovely holiday. The landlords are very friendly and helpful with great tips. I was very satisfied with everything.

Feeling good right from the start

Beautiful holiday home

A warm welcome by the friendly owners and a beautifully decorated, very spacious house equipped with all conveniences! Located in a beautiful area, beautiful towns and hiking and cycling routes at a great distance from the cottage. A nice shop in the village and tips from the owners and fresh fruit from their own garden and bicycles that we could borrow, highly recommended!

Very satisfied guests from Holland

We enjoyed staying in this very complete, clean, and well-equipped vacation home for a week. The beds sleep wonderfully, and there was nothing missing in the other spaces either. It was very pleasant in the small garden in good weather. The Thölen family was very friendly and helpful with tips for outings, among other things. Highly recommended for cyclists, among others.

What a delightful home for 2 people.

Were pleasantly surprised. A very comfortable house.
It was a very hot week and the house was wonderfully cool.
No air conditioning needed.
We gave 5 stars in all categories because it was worth it.
Lovely location to explore the Baumberge by bike.

Heerlijke accomodatie

Warm welcome by Renate and Ulrich. You quickly feel at home. The accommodation looks well-maintained and you don't lack anything. Beautiful and quiet surroundings. Ideal for a cycling holiday through the nature that surrounds you. Within a short distance, charming villages to visit. Renate and Ulrich are very enthusiastic about their surroundings and are happy to give you tips. In the accommodation, you will also find many booklets, leaflets, brochures to guide you. After a delightful bike ride, you relax on the terrace in your own little garden when you come home.

The garden flat in Schapdetten

We were guests for a week in the very nice holiday flat, where nothing was missing. Everything is very tastefully and practically furnished. The garden space is pleasant and invited us to linger.

Simply to feel good.


The hosts are very cordial, so we felt well taken care of from the beginning. The relaxation was there from the start. Thank you for everything. We will definitely be back.

In the heart of the Münsterland...

a spotlessly clean, cosy and bright holiday flat. In the small garden we could listen to the birds chirping while having our first coffee. Very comfortable beds, a spacious bathroom, the kitchen with an unobstructed view of a beautiful magnolia. All in all, a very nice, relaxing, long Easter weekend. We will definitely be back!

Restful beautiful days

We spent four days in March in the cosy garden flat, which lacked nothing
The landlords are very nice, always have an open ear, give good advice for things to do and are not intrusive. We came as strangers and left as friends.
Thanks to the sunny weather (unfortunately still very cold) we were able to explore the beautiful surroundings by bike and on foot in the short time
We will definitely come back again!

Geweldig

Together with my wife, we stayed in a beautiful cottage for 2 weeks. The people there also speak Dutch and are very friendly. It is a great location for 2 people and your dog. The surroundings are beautiful, and there is a lot to see while cycling. The house is spacious, neat, clean, and very pleasant. Think of silence, comfortable beds, a spacious bathroom with a lovely shower, a separate kitchen, ample parking space, and excellent service. I definitely recommend this location.

A great week in Schapdetten

The spacious, tastefully furnished "garden flat", where nothing is missing, was an absolute stroke of luck. The flat also has a small, cosy garden.
The landlords always had an open ear for their guests. A tour through the large garden, designed with much love and even more work, was very interesting for us, because our companions knew all the plants by their "first names". Now we know not only what a Jostaberry looks like, but also what an artist can create from metal parts, which are normally called scrap, or from wood waste.
In summary, we can say that it was a wonderful short holiday. Thank you!

Münsterland

Very nice apartment in a quiet location, ideally located for all kinds of trips in the surrounding Münsterland. Many beautiful places like Baumberge, water castles.... The landlords are very nice and helpful. Overall, it was very nice and recommendable.

Discover the Münsterland!

Highly recommended for a natural and relaxing experience. Located in the western Münsterland, forests, fields, and meadows stretch out in a varied landscape. The Baumberge hills require some stamina for cyclists, but offer beautiful views all the way to the Ruhr area or the Teutoburg Forest. Countless bike tours or hikes are well signposted and guide the (bike) hiker through the landscape on mostly idyllic country roads without any other traffic.
There are also cultural surprises hidden in the surrounding villages, water castles, and palaces - and Münster is not far away either. The modernly furnished apartment is more than well-equipped, very clean, and offers a lot of comfort. Breakfast in the separate, small garden was a delight every time. The very friendly couple who owns the property is happy to help with any questions and has plenty of tips for exploring the area and meeting culinary needs, but they don't impose themselves.
Unfortunately, the time was too short - we would love to come back.

A beautiful week in the Münsterland

The apartment is very well maintained and high-quality furnished.
In the small village shop, just a few meters away, we could buy everything for our daily needs, 7 days a week!
The landlords are extremely nice and friendly. We could tell right away upon arrival that they really care about the guests' satisfaction.

Wonderful Timeout

Renate and Ulrich are great landlords, very open-minded but still unobtrusive. They are happy to give good tips for activities - the restaurant recommendations were fantastic. The vacation apartment is well laid out and tastefully furnished, as shown in the photos. We will definitely come back.

Just GOOD

It was great. The apartment is equipped as described, and we immediately felt at home. We were able to use the small (but nice) garden and even barbecue thanks to the hospitality of our landlords. Top location in Münsterland - very friendly landlords

The flat is very well equipped. The landlords are very friendly and helpful with many tips on places of interest and excursions in the region. The apartment is suitable for families. A cot fits in the bedroom. The price/performance ratio is fair.
We can only recommend the apartment. We would like to come back.
We also liked the flexible period - Sat to Wed is rather unusual.

Lovingly furnished holiday apartment in a quiet location

The apartment is lovingly and modernly furnished and really has everything you could possibly need on vacation. It is very cozy, spacious, and located in a quiet area. The landlords were very friendly and helpful. Within walking distance, you will find the village shop where you can supply yourself with everything. There is also a pizzeria and restaurant on site. We hope to be able to spend a vacation in the garden apartment again soon.
